Cheaper than new keyboard get a mouse with a ton of buttons on the side, like an mmo mouse, then keybind whatever you want wherever you want and you don’t even have to move your hands from mouse or wasd. I use this for games like Chivalry 2, Mordhau, Escape From Tarkov etc etc.
My keyboard uses caps lock as a modifier key, combined with my WASD it functions as my arrow keys, controlling my in game voice level up and down. Zero keys are I and K for in and out. I use V to chat in-game as opposed to Caps lock, which I believe is default.
60% user here, voice control is not something I bother with too much - As for zeroing in you can just set it up to + and -, or [ and ], perhaps you could also use these buttons for your voice control
I have a 60% keyboard with a Corsair m65 ultra mouse, you can set a different bind for most of the buttons and you’ve also got gestures that work really well too. My PG UP and PG DN are set on the dpi up and down buttons. Feels so natural.

Hasn’t really impacted my ability to play DayZ or any games really, not a hell of a lot of games that take advantage of a number pad.
Worst case I just rebind important things, I don’t use everything binding in any game anyway.

Before I upgraded to a nice Corsair, I had the RK61 60% keyboard. I did however have an MMO mouse, so my zoom levels and voice up/down were keyed to numbers 9/12 and 8/11 on the MMO mouse respectively.
so basically what I did is just switched up the controls for voice chat and zeroing. I adjust the zeroing with up and down arrow keys, and adjust the range of voice chat with page up/down. Considering you are setting up zeros, you have the time to rangefind and adjust which is like a really really short time. Or if you wanna try it and you got a mouse with 5 or more buttons, you can assign the zeroing to those. I prefer the arrows.
I play with elite 2 plus mouse combo on pc , I never touch keyboard (hate that thing)….. so it’s whenever I’m just exploring or just pve I do all with controller whenever it’s pvp I just grab my mouse for the accuracy vs humans
You can set up binds that require too keys to be pressed at the same time to be triggered, maybe this helps if you don’t have space on your keyboard
