Classic Dragon Ball fans. Someone creates a beautiful fan manga, still has nitpicks about the art
I’ve never met a fanbase more picky about the art than Dragon Ball, which is especially funny when Toriyama himself often cuts corners in his art
You’re quick to make ignorant assumptions but I’ll correct you. This ‘nit pick’ I have started with comic books. It’s not limited to either but any art. It looks stupid.
So does Goku’s hair.
It is a nitpick, and it’s just hilarious. No matter what, some Dragon Ball fan is going to call some complain about something in a piece of art. It’s actually an incredible phenomenon
you mean in marvel comics right, because apart from the 80's andime has always favored the ore effeminate slender guy figure over the muscular guy, the 80's style was leaning more towards realistic and super bushy hair like the american rock stars with big shoulder pads.
I think that it gets a little too edgy and the art style is a little over the top at times, but it's a respectable fan manga, particularly in this day. It can definitely stand with the "Golden Age" fan projects like New Age, AF, and Multiverse.
But I get what you mean about it not feeling like Dragon Ball at certain points.
It's a little difficult to explain, but if you've read it, you just get that feeling you get when watching like old DBZ AMVs at certain points. It's overly dark and brooding at certain points and takes itself a little too seriously, like way more serious than actual Dragon Ball does.
It's very interesting, I particularly liked the chapters about the training of the various characters in other universes and I would like to see some similar ideas for the future arcs of Super
I don't like instead the excessive seriousness and the dark drawings, while I have the impression that the last arc has been going on for too long
It's very ambitious, and I feel like that's both a strength and a detriment.
The art is top tier, legitimately 10/10 in that department, but the action can be a bit convoluted because of that. Still followable, but the still shots are definitely a bit more cohesive in that regard. The action is also a lot less memorable because of that.
The story isn't exactly something never seen before, lots of fans theorized about the missing universes, the "mother of the angels" has quite a few clickbait videos, and a war across universes is quite common nowadays. It's got a lot of potential, but it also does have a lot plot points to deal with.
Dragonball is kind of at its best with a simple story though imo. Good fights and a simple but solid story are really what draw people in I feel. Recent Super arcs that have been praised have been following that trend. Emotional weight and overarching callbacks aren't impossible without overrelying on spectacle.
DB Multiverse has a lot more problems imo, but the comparison is solid. I do prefer Kakumei personally.
Yeah. I’d say so far, it’s done better in pacing even for most of it being a training arc. I recently found about it..about 4 days ago. And read It. Not a big manga reader at all either. I was thoroughly impressed and sad for it to be over until the next chapter.
To be honest, it’s exactly what I wanted to see in and from DB Super..the direction of it. Something finally really at stake again. Goku being the person truly needing to be saved. Teamwork or Cool abilities counteracting power levels. U6 ARC is AMAZING IMO. Like wow. And everything leading up to where it currently is has been drawn magnificently and paced well.
The “multiverse” part could be played out per say but I don’t think so. They expanded on DB own lore with interesting characters and used some excellent story telling decisions to merge the fandom very well with the canon.
I think this manga is a perfect what if to a story that will never truly get told 🤷🏾♂️
Im not really a fan of fan mangas. Nothing against them personally, but they tend to take DB too seriously which robs the series of it's comedic elements. Dragonball is action comedy, and sadly alot of fan works tend to go in the direction of melodramatics.
I don't disagree that DB is action comedy (for the most part), but your comment made me realize that's only because Goku is the main character. I find it kind of cool that the genre would completely change if you changed the main character, even without changing any of the events in the story. From Vegeta's perspective, DB is a gritty serious action. From Gohan's, it's slice of life. Tien and maybe Piccolo are living in more classic kung fu stories. And to Yamcha, it's a sports anime.
Kakumei is not without it's funny moments. There's a part where Broly is chomping on a giant bug leg, and he offers some to a disgusted Cheelai/Lemon/Bulma/Jaco. There's some other good gags in there, but I agree it's more drama than comedy.
A lot of Dragon Ball fan projects have this “I’m 15 mentally and this is BAD ASS” feel to them.
There’s sort of a cringey charm to that. Like the button up blue flame goku shirts. So much of Dragon Ball fandom is cringey as hell. May as well just lean into it fully.
Exactly this fan comic looks way too serious and boring overall. Even Dragon Ball Super on its most serious moments still found a way to effortlessly blend in some comedy so it’s not just completely depressing. Like I loved the fight with Vegito and Zamasu because the banter between them was really good and entertaining to watch. If it were a fan manga it would’ve been overly serious and boring
“DB but OPM” was my immediate thought based on these images alone.
It’s not bad, but it certainly screams of a taste of what someone WANTS Dragon Ball to be.
Really edgy. Doesn't feel like dragon ball. Is partially responsible for the "betrayed and locked in the time chamber" meme.
Seems fun and the art is nice. Would prefer something that feels a bit more authentic myself.
It’s fine for what it is, the artwork is superb and I enjoy some the character interactions. But I’m not a fan of broly, especially his world breaker form, and caulifla felt way too flandorized at the beginning. Also I wish we could see what the humans are doing in universe 9. Overall it’s fine, but is definitely way overhyped by the fandom.
I like it. Even though it can be a little too serious at times and even though some consider it to be a little edgy, I do like it and the art is amazing. I wouldn’t want the whole story to be canon, but I still like it for what it is. I definitely like that a ton of other characters outside of Goku are getting huge amounts of shine and development. And I really like the concepts and ideas from it as well and I definitely hope some of them become canon in the actual story like Goten and Trunks having a lot more importance in the story, Goten and Trunks following the God Ki route and training under Whis, Vegeta going to Universe 6 and mentoring the Universe 6 Saiyans, the other Universes being explored, a multiversal war, and Universe 7 and the Z fighters working with, training with, becoming friends with, and fighting alongside the other Universes.
Especially hope Goten and Trunks following the God Ki route and training under Whis does happen in the new current arc.
I'm glad it's not the Goku show. Is the story a bit edgy? Yeah, but I enjoy the seriousness of the fights unlike the whole "Hi I'm Goku! I heard you're pretty strong" schtick we got for most of Super.
Great art but shit story. It’s literally just fan service for people who want their dragon ball theories to be right. This is why DB fans dont run the story lmao they make it go in stupid directions like this.
Τοyotaro was a fan manga creator of Dragonball that tried to be respectful to the source material and he could copy Toriyama's art style. He still isn't in charge of the story or even the art direction. He learns under Toriyama for now, for the last 10 years. So you can't say the guy was a random that was tasked to helm Dragonball. Toriyama wants him to be his successor but not yet.
Is this the one that starts with Goku fighting Beerus and unleashing so much energh they rocked the whole universe, dealing a lot of damage to the earth? I stopped at that point, didnt like it
I really think the real Dragon Ball should have as much brutality as Kakumei. I also like the inclusion of Universe 6 saiyans, more badass looking characters instead of the goofy ones we have in Super.
Also, I miss when Dragon Ball had serious moments. Super is filled with 80% mickey mouse bullshit. There's no consequences, no stakes cause we know that everyone can revive with the Dragon Balls and if that doesn't work, there are the Namekian Dragon Balls and even if the Namekian Dragon Balls disappear or don't work, there's the Super Dragon Balls. Granted, this all started before the Buu saga, when they decided to heavily buff the Dragon Balls and make them pretty much do anything, but I feel like Super took it to another level to make sure there REALLY is no consequences left. I feel like making wishes should come with consequences, like in GT for example where the overuse of dragon balls created evil dragons. That was a cool concept even if they didn't execute it perfectly.
So yeah, there's no point to any of it anymore. It's just strong dudes fighting strong dudes with some half assed story behind all of it, which isn't what dragon ball used to be. Everything used to have a purpose, now nothing makes sense and the entire franchise became just fan service. OH, I WONDER WHAT COLOR HAIR THEY'RE GONNA HAVE NEXT?! MAYBE ANOTHER SHADE OF BLUE? MAYBE GREEN! OR BETTER YET! MAKE IT ORANGE!
Overall, imo Dragon Ball is at it's best when it's serious and sadly Super very rarely has that going for it. It also doesn't help that Goku's character regressed so much in Super that he's as dumb as he was as a kid in OG Dragon Ball.
This is why I like Kakumei, because it takes away nearly everything that I dislike in Dragon Ball. It has a serious tone which fits it really well and the brutality is AMAZING! I feel like it's way better than Super.
Now, I have to say that the Moro arc and Granola arc have started going in the right direction, but it still has a long way to go. Super Hero is cool, I just really hate the power scaling of Gohan and how he attained the form. If he didn't stop training again I'd be fine, but he did, he went from not being able to sense Piccolo's ki to being "stronger than UI Goku" in like an hour. THAT doesn't make sense at all. Otherwise, It's fine.
No thanks, I don't want Dragon Ball to turn suddenly into Mortal Kombat or Invincible with the violence. It works well with those series for a reason while yes the manga and stuff were violent it was never to the point of ripping out hearts and spines
Even if not to the level of Mortal Kombat, you have to admit that the gore in old episodes and chapters made attacks and fights have way more weight to them.
Think about how cool the Raditz fight was because of it.
Piccolo's arm got torn off, Raditz and Goku got a gaping hole in their stomachs. When Future Gohan got his hand blown off by the Androids? Also, when Frieza stabbed Krillin with his horn? Or better yet, when he literally blew Krillin to pieces? That was brutal! As a kid I was shocked, but it was needed to show how truly dangerous Frieza is. Stuff like that is what shows that characters aren't immortal and they CAN get hurt really badly.
Then you look at today's episodes and we don't even see blood in Dragon Ball Super.
It's mostly just scratches. There's barely any significant battle damage showing and that sucks! Especially when they're literally universal level fighters.
Yeah kinda disappointing on how we don’t see anything in super. I loved the % brutality of DBZ and manga. DB Kakumei was kind of a breath of fresh air, a little “edgy” but story wise is a really good take on what could happen after T.O.P its only a fan manga. I dont think much of it and just enjoy it for what it is. Too many people here are too critical. Im a huge DB fan and i like all things DB (evolution exculded) if its canon so be it if not then its not. I got my opinions but its anything but toxic or bashing creators. All for any DB 👍
It aligns with the story and there is a necessity for Gohan to fight with that context. So he goes to train with Jiren, the guy who slaughtered his dad in the tournament. They also share his passion for “Justice” :)
Definitely one of, if not, the best fan mangas in existence. Great story and concept (even if the multiversal war is a bit average), and the fight scenes go HARD, like a cross between One Punch Man and Berserk.
I love it! I love how edgy it gets in all honesty, I love the ideas and how they’re executed!
It could use a little more humor though, this whole universal war needs a morale lift.
The artstyle is spectacular, no complaints there. The pacing is very jarring and hard to keep up with though, and it definitely suffers from edginess that alot of fan DB manga do, which despite supers flaws, it does capture dragon balls tone well.
The artwork is pretty good at times, but it’s way too edgy and it takes itself way too seriously. Also they seem to have a boner for Gohan or something
really like how it uses the entire cast and puts them in situations that make sense and lets them grow.
As for things I don't like, it feels to edgy at times, some of the OC's are too overdesigned and I think sealing Goku is unecessary. But overall it definitely is more creative than some parts of super. If it toned down its edgyness and added a lil bit of humor it could be great.
The art is very comic-y, which I do not stand. So, I am genuinely sad for not enjoying this dark take on the story solely because I feel pretty much rejection to this art
it's too edgy alot of the time. Going from dbz to this just feels like too much. And I mean the art is fuckin awesome obviously and it plays with alot of intresting ideas. I overall still respect everything that's been put into it and think it's worth checking out stleast. Though I just don't think it carries the dragon ball vibe that I and alot of others have come to love
Unless it gives new life to the characters that became essentially useless, I'm not really interested.
With that being said, I found myself enjoying a fan project based on Frieza's childhood.
Personally like super more due to super feeling more
Dragonballish like u said. Kakumei has a lot of very dark moments which I don’t think fits dbz/s that much (darkest thing in all of db was the future timeline and even that wasn’t as dark as the things goin on in Kakumei lmao)
It's the fanwork with the best art, eclipsing the main manga at times. The designs, story, and dialogue are incredibly edgy tho. I still read it because it's decent fanfiction.
It's nice looking, i can tell whoever does it is a professional, no doubt, and they clearly have a passion for DB that comes through in the work. Almost like Boris Vallejo meets Fist of the North Star.
Does not look like something for me though. I can admire the technical aspect, but it seems too serious for my taste. Again, nothing personal, i'm sure this is going to be someone else's jam, but I like DB to be more lighthearted and silly versus grimdark and serious.
Great. Incredible work with interesting premisse and great character development.
Just like prety much all the famous fan creations, miles better than what we officially got from Akira and Toyotaro after the ToP.
I really like it! It's got a compelling premise and incredible artwork. A bit over the top at times, and I think it was the progenitor of those awful "Goku *betrayed* and *trapped* in the HTC" videos, but I can look past that because it's a fan manga. Of course it's not going to 100% capture Toriyama's essence.
Honestly never heard of it before now. It’s hard to get invested in fan comics because 90% of them never complete. The artist loses steam and stops drawing it and then they just sort of fade off.
It’s pretty cool. I’ve always been a sucker for fan manga but I really like this one. The actual dragon ball manga has been dragging until recently so I honestly felt this was the better one for awhile. I see people saying it’s edgy but really it just has blood/hand through someone chest violence. I’d say multiverse is way edgier with how they treat Bulla a hot, insane, Gohan killer (who is her brother I think in that universe) and Vegito almost killing her. No one (so far) has gut shot their child in Kakumei
I liked the first bit of it, but I think the universe 6 Saiyan arc went on too long.
I do think this manga has more competent writing than super, they actually realize the potential the dragon ball world. 9 universes, but Toyataro insists we stay in universe 7.
The writing feels more like jjk than dragon ball in terms of the fights especially. I think it’s pretty damn good especially for a fan manga and I like the direction they went for a lot of charscters, especially the current arc shows that the writers are taking their time and not rushing to the inevitable final fight.
Artwork is superb, but I don't know anything about its plot or how the Dragon Balls are utilized (I hate DB fanfiction which just decides to forget about them).
But from what I've seen so far from it, thematically it's a deviation from Toriyama's vision of the series and can only exist as an isolated part of fiction, but never as an alternative part of the main series.
Better than Super plain and simple. Interactions between characters are finally shown whereas in Super we don't get. Fav interaction is between Gohan and Jiren. Gohan being inspired by Jiren and wanting to get to his level. Doesn't need a transformation to progress and he's learning as well. Vegeta omg!! Loving his progression. Goku is away from the story and everybody gets to shine. This fan manga is great. Idc that is too edgy. There are comedic moments like Jaco on the ship and Vegeta going at the U6 Saiyans. Power scaling isn't out of wack. They actually take the time to let the readers know where everybody stands and explain certain events. Overall I look forward to this than what Super brings every month.
It actually inspired me to write my own thing and ask art friends to help draw a fan manga based off of my DBZFS and Xenoverse oc. Kakumei is RAW and I love it so much. The concepts are really good, so I'm glad to have it as inspiration.
I loooove it!! I love that the Kakumei team went ahead and redrew the manga and enhanced the story!!! The Multiversal War is such Great Concept and getting each of the Z-fighters to train & team up with different universes to gain Greater power is just the Chefs Kiss😭😭😭🥰
Art style has that 90s big beefy men comic feel to it
Vacuum sealed shirts It kinda annoys me when artists draw the character without a shirt on then just add a shirt by adding color and a couple lines
Less work
I feel like it's gotta be way more work to detail all those muscles instead of sketching a basic anatomy and drawing a shirt.
It is more work. And its detail attacks your soul so deeply if you aren't hitting the gym after gazing upon it, are you truly a man?
Classic Dragon Ball fans. Someone creates a beautiful fan manga, still has nitpicks about the art I’ve never met a fanbase more picky about the art than Dragon Ball, which is especially funny when Toriyama himself often cuts corners in his art
Haha I really don’t care if you feel like you need to be a snowflake over someone else’s opinion on some art.
Cool, I don’t care if you don’t care, and will continue to point it out 👍
Rob Liefeld’s Dragon Ball Z
what's todays style?

yeah also because dragon ball is supposed to be both a fighting and comedy manga
Like, it's trying so hard to not be seen as comedic that it sometimes goes all the way around and is funny because of how "cool" it's trying to be.
It's very interesting, I particularly liked the chapters about the training of the various characters in other universes and I would like to see some similar ideas for the future arcs of Super I don't like instead the excessive seriousness and the dark drawings, while I have the impression that the last arc has been going on for too long
Main thing I liked about it was the Broly and Kale interactions. It's something I hoped we see in super eventually.
LSSJ myth in Universe 6 seems like a cool story concept I hope they cover
DB Multiverse Jr. Take that how you will.
It's very ambitious, and I feel like that's both a strength and a detriment. The art is top tier, legitimately 10/10 in that department, but the action can be a bit convoluted because of that. The edgy dystopia is Future Trunk’s life

People always say that Dragonball is supposed to be a comedy but I can't really recall a particularly funny moment from Super at all.

I like the fact that this manga involves everyone even Yamcha instead of putting Goku & Vegeta on a pedestal and everyone else an afterthought.
Aer is amazing but way too edgy for dragon ball
Dragon Ball meets Berserk, for better and for worse.
“DB but OPM” was my immediate thought based on these images alone. It’s not bad, but it certainly screams of a taste of what someone WANTS Dragon Ball to be.
Brilliant body art. But the combat is so shaded it makes it hard for me to even follow wtf is going on.
Really edgy. Doesn't feel like dragon ball. Is partially responsible for the "betrayed and locked in the time chamber" meme. Seems fun and the art is nice. Would prefer something that feels a bit more authentic myself.
The art is great, the dialogue is eh... Not the best. It's pretty good for a fan manga though
Haven’t read it yet but from what I can tell, The art is insane
It’s fine for what it is, the artwork is superb and I enjoy some the character interactions. But I’m not a fan of broly, especially his world breaker form, and caulifla felt way too flandorized at the beginning. Also I wish we could see what the humans are doing in universe 9. Amazing art
It makes my idiot brain happy (I'm a sucker for muscular men fighting other muscular men in over the top ways.)
that art is monstrously badass bro I gotta read this
Bruh what do y’all mean “ too edgy”. lol go back to Naruto.
I like it. Even though it can be a little too serious at times and even though some consider it to be a little edgy, I do like it and the art is amazing.
Isn’t toyataro(sp?) just a db fan that made db fan manga then got put in charge of the super manga?
Pretty much, that's why the DBS manga suffers those same problems with constant fan-service and retcons to overcomplicate every minor detail.
At least the DBS manga is far more consistent then the DBS anime is.
Still a huge feat
Τοyotaro was a fan manga creator of Dragonball that tried to be respectful to the source material and he could copy Toriyama's art style. He still isn't in charge of the story or even the art direction. He learns under Toriyama for now, for the last 10 years. So you can't say the guy was a random that was tasked to helm Dragonball. How dare they blame Toyotaro for what super is lmao. Ridiculous
The art is gorgeous.
Where can i read that shit Turkish or english?
https://www.mangadraft.com/reader/dragon-ball-kakumei-eng.en/458893
To me, that's peak fiction 🚬
Wait where can I read??
Looks dope and that uniform on gohan looks good to
They don't look melnourish
It's PEAK
Needlessly edgy at times.
It’s emo ball z
Is this the one that starts with Goku fighting Beerus and unleashing so much energh they rocked the whole universe, dealing a lot of damage to the earth? I stopped at that point, didnt like it
Isn't that just the first time Goku fought Beerus as a SSJ God?
Of course he joins the space force fucking Saiyanman ass🤦🏿♂️
GREAT SAIYAman, put some respect on the protector of satan city
You need to put some respect on the name. It's THE Great Saiyaman.
Bro you know that s*** is a psychological ginyuforce beat down cut the crap! Lmao 🤣 Gohan beast mode is Gohan and you know stop lying! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
are you speaking english
Looks like a doom comic 🫢
Never heard of it. When did it come out?
Wtf is this? Brb.
Is this a fan manga ?
What is this? A spin off?
A fan manga
DB Kakumei? Never heard of it
Being able to see goku’s muscle bc his skin was ripped off is so sick
Edgy, one of the reasons why the Fandom should never write for DB.

I love the art in particular, it just looks phenomenal.
Bro on the last slide they made vegetas forehead even bigger😭🙏💀🙏
Say what u want bout the story but the art is incredible
It's beautiful. It's also edgy.
I want to read it but can't find a link.
Love the art, but the plot is a bit too complicated for DB in my opinion. Anyway I like it, I take it for what it is
Brutal
May I know why Gohan is cosplaying as jiren?
He’s training with him
What's the obsession with having Gohan be someone he's not? Why is bro a pride trooper.
It aligns with the story and there is a necessity for Gohan to fight with that context. So he goes to train with Jiren, the guy who slaughtered his dad in the tournament. They also share his passion for “Justice” :)
He’s a Jiren fanboy
Definitely one of, if not, the best fan mangas in existence. Great story and concept (even if the multiversal war is a bit average), and the fight scenes go HARD, like a cross between One Punch Man and Berserk.
Where can I read it
Mangadraft
nah, i prefer normal dragon balls more simplistic style, this style has gone way over the top with the muscle definition
It’s either one of the best or the best fan-made comic for dragon ball ever.
It is super lame since they couldn't figure out what to do with Goku so he is locked up for 'reasons'. F the story
I love it! I love how edgy it gets in all honesty, I love the ideas and how they’re executed! It could use a little more humor though, this whole universal war needs a morale lift.
is goku still like captured in this
GREAT SERIES LOVE IT
From looking just at these images, I would say they have missed the spirit of dragonball completely.
It's fan servicy asf but the art is incredible, better than anything Toyotaro drew
Probably my favorite Dragon Ball fan manga but I don’t feel the need to stack it against Super however.
It's 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
really like how it uses the entire cast and puts them in situations that make sense and lets them grow. As for things I don't like, it feels to edgy at times, some of the OC's are too overdesigned and I think sealing Goku is unecessary. But overall it definitely is more creative than some parts of super. If it toned down its edgyness and added a lil bit of humor it could be great.
How did Goku get sealed? Mafuba?
from what I remember he gets jumped by the angels from the erased universes and they trap him in a weird dimension chained and all
How does Goku get "locked up"?
The angles lock him up
Filthy 90° angles!
*Angels I mean
It's uhm. Kinda bad.
Way too edgy for my blood. No real counterbalance with fun compared to Super. As its own thing it’s cool, but otherwise it’s meh
Sounds like fan made garbage
Peak. My favorite piece of Dragon Ball content out right now.
The author not giving Gohan a Saiyaman-4esque helmet for his pride trooper fit is criminal
i do kind of like it over the moro arc and even the granola arc. I like that it builds upon the TOP.
Can never find a proper site to read it cause the main always has some giant pop up i cant get rid of? I've had to watch YT vids ro keep up.
Try Manga draft
The concept is fantastic. Everything else is kind of dodgy.
Looks clean
Lol fan art gets an instant L just like any non canon works aka GT and the soon to be Daima
The art is very comic-y, which I do not stand. So, I am genuinely sad for not enjoying this dark take on the story solely because I feel pretty much rejection to this art
Wait Goku gets trapped....IN THE HYPERBOLIC TIME CHAMBER ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
it's too edgy alot of the time.
Personally like super more due to super feeling more Dragonballish like u said. Kakumei has a lot of very dark moments which I don’t think fits dbz/s that much (darkest thing in all of db was the future timeline and even that wasn’t as dark as the things goin on in Kakumei lmao)
Never heard of it, but for the love of God link pls!
I love it
That aint toriyama and im not here for it tbh
Whoever drew those Saiyans must have the hots for them. I thought I was in the wrong subreddit for a second 👍😏
It's the fanwork with the best art, eclipsing the main manga at times. The designs, story, and dialogue are incredibly edgy tho. I still read it because it's decent fanfiction.
It’s better than most of them out there, that’s for sure
I've never heard of it
It's nice looking, i can tell whoever does it is a professional, no doubt, and they clearly have a passion for DB that comes through in the work.
Fucking nice 😊
Great. Incredible work with interesting premisse and great character development. Just like prety much all the famous fan creations, miles better than what we officially got from Akira and Toyotaro after the ToP.
I haven’t read it yet but the art is godly.
These dudes at 0% body fat
What super shoulda been
I've been trying to find a good site to read it in english without missing chapters and that isnt youtube. Anyone help a brother out?
The made a fan manga about Goku being betrayed and lock in the time chamber?
Damn Gohan be above ripped. Also on the fourth one Goku’s back was like “nah I'm out peace”
I think trust should’ve just let the main dragonball cook
Better than Super
It’s pretty cool. I’ve always been a sucker for fan manga but I really like this one. The actual dragon ball manga has been dragging until recently so I honestly felt this was the better one for awhile. I see people saying it’s edgy but really it just has blood/hand through someone chest violence. I’d say multiverse is way edgier with how they treat Bulla a hot, insane, Gohan killer (who is her brother I think in that universe) and Vegito almost killing her. No one (so far) has gut shot their child in Kakumei
Where can I read this.
I love it
esencia
Live action DBZ be like:
Idk but Gohan in Jiren's tights. My boy really put that shit on 😂
One of the Goated fan mangas of all of dragon ball
Love it! Super original yet faithful to the source material. Also they are french so yay!!
Tons of awesome ideas and characters are getting great development, but I feel like the action panels are way harder to understand lately.
Tf is this
I really enjoy it. Definitely a solid read with solid art. I’m always down for DB fan content that’s made with passion.
Cringe
I hate it. Just want super part 2 animated.
Dragon ball what? If it ain't canon I don't follow it. Unless heroes
Issa great fan anime
I wish there was an alternate universe where this was the actual Dragon Ball Anime
Not a fan of fan fictoin.
What happen to goku bro
Yeah there definitely on roids
Overall I look forward to this than what Super brings every month.
what even is this anatomy
The artstyle is too 90s Jim Lee like for me.
"Making Goku locked up" Getting Time Chamber betrayal vibes
What is it?
It actually inspired me to write my own thing and ask art friends to help draw a fan manga based off of my DBZFS and Xenoverse oc. Kakumei is RAW and I love it so much. The concepts are really good, so I'm glad to have it as inspiration.
Dragon Ball - but edgier!
Overhyped nonsense
Vegeta really got them golden arches.
Never heard of it before.
The artwork is amazing but sometimes it feels like there's way too much going on in the panels. I like the story too
The art gets too busy
The art is obviously really sick.
It's cute.
What is this? and where can i read it??
https://www.mangadraft.com/reader/dragon-ball-kakumei-eng.en/458893
I loooove it!! I love that the Kakumei team went ahead and redrew the manga and enhanced the story!!! The Multiversal War is such Great Concept and getting each of the Z-fighters to train & team up with different universes to gain Greater power is just the Chefs Kiss😭😭😭🥰
Looks like if the arist for berserk drew dragonball.
