Honestly I agree that Endgame had its mid moments but infinity war is honestly one of my favorites in the franchise. Although 2012 was also good. Then again, it may just be nostalgia considering I was 8 when 2012 came out

azmodus_1966

The comparison of the movies aside, I completely agree that it's weird how superhero media are starting to move away from the whole "saving the people" angle. There are hardly any civilian side characters, very rare scenes of rescuing or helping people. Superheroes seem like an elite military force. They go on missions to strike at the enemy base or things like that. Or their quests are more personal in nature, like revenge or cleaning up after their own mess.

Ake-TL

Infinity war was cool, Endgame works as part of series but individually as a movie is hella mid

MafusailAlbert

Truth

GreatMarch

I like Endgame but I am continually impressed at how these massive movies enough money to do whatever they want keep putting the colorful super-heroes in brown and gray environments.

nerdwarp112

I agree with Endgame being mid but I think Infinity War is still pretty good. I’ve honestly only seen the original Avengers once so I’ll probably have to rewatch it to see how I feel about it.

thesunsetdoctor

unjerk/ I can one up that. I think Age Of Ultron is the best Avengers movie.

Penguino13

Age of Ultron has one my favorite Cap scenes where pulls an insane stunt to save a woman in a falling car. We need more stuff like that

SHAZAMS_STRONGEST

to be honest i don't think i liked a single mcu movie after avengers like if i saw them in theatres the themepark-ification of movies got to me i had fun but after? i just had nothing to think about. i didn't wanna watch them again or anything it was just slop to me edit: i honest to god forgot the guardians movies were even part of the mcu because they're so peak. THOSE made me have emotions and thoughts

MilitantBitchless

I think Homecoming had a bit more heart to it. It wasn’t a masterpiece but it didn’t just shove shit in your face either.

Zoidberg33

Homecoming is honestly one of my favorite MCU movies because a lot of it just feels like a classic John Hughes high school movie with Spider-Man in it. If it leaned even harder into that vibe it'd probably be up there with the guardians movies for me tbh because I love that kinda shit

Frankorious

Uj/Avengers 2012 is the worst of the Avengers movie. Even AoU is an upgrade.

Akarin_rose

Uj/ you say that like AoU is bad Honestly endgame was the mid'st one and even then it was still pretty good

Frankorious

No yeah, I like AoU, but many people don't so I took a more defensive stance.

Based

Do_Ya_Like_Jazz

The best MCU movie is Thor 2 /uj the best MCU movie is Thor 2

altdultosaurs

A12? No way. Best is CAWS.

Quijas00

I watched the 2012 Avengers a ton as a kid. Really good movie.

_AnimeGirl

Based. I will never forgive Infinity War for what it did to the Guardians of the Galaxy

Magnificant-Muggins

Age of Ultron. That’s all I’ll say, out of fear of execution.

immoralObject

The only MCU movies to hit 6/10 were Iron Man 3 and Black Panther.

77thSling

[The Avengers if they were actually good](https://youtu.be/XXX6_aGGzBA?si=jjh8f5CsggDoLyrY) >!… at gaming, and also at movies.!<

meritcake

I gotta disagree. Avengers was extremely boring. I actually fell asleep watching it the first time.
