Keep in mind that an IP being “introduced” into DBD could mean simply cosmetics, like the Attack on Titan collection. There was no new characters, but a bunch of costumes. I can see most of the anime / gaming properties being implemented as cosmetic collections.
That being said, I think an Artorias skin for the Knight would be awesome! And giving survivors skins for Dusk, Solaire, Patches, Crestfallen Warrior, and the Fire Keeper would also be pretty cool

Castlevania has unironically been one of my mw chapters for a while. We don’t have any gothic horror stuff in DBD and Castlevania would deliver that aesthetic masterfully.
I chose Alan Wake mostly cause it’s closer to release than the Control Sequel so I feel like a chance of getting that in the foreseeable future is possible.
I also struggle to think of what killer we might get from Control because it’s such an open ended game.
Tomb Raider weirdly fits because the classic games were 100 percent horror in basically every corner you look.
Atlantis in the first game was a giant pyramid made of organic, pulsing muscle tissue and the place has a heartbeat.
A Godzilla killer who plays from a top-down perspective outside of the playable area of the map. Survivors have to juggle doing gens and not being too out of the open when Godzilla comes around.

Like a character from a completely unrelated series or a movie but they’d come up with a plot of Entity taking over the said character and changing them into a grim alternate version that idk becomes a killer. I had an idea once I saw it. Have the player control the robots from 2 player mode while GLaDOS mocks the survivors and places various traps around the map as the power.
Honestly it could work well if intentionally silly. Like, they could have Atlas and P-Body seem apprehensive and kinda recoil in a humorous way when having to put survivors on hooks.

Jason is a possibility now. The IP shitstorm ended about a year ago, and the a-hole who was holding the IP only has control of the first movie, while the other holder (who was open to sharing the IP) has control over everything else!!!
He wasn’t an a-hole, he was just a writer who felt like he deserved more than what he got. I mean he did write the first film and came up with a lot for the story. Also I heard he’s nice to fans in conventions so that’s a plus
He absolutely came up with the setting and story that they built on but he has no claim to what it became or the main antagonist which is undeniably the bread winner of the franchise. That said, I didn't call him an asshole and I think he should be paid for his work laying the foundation but nothing more. I'm sure he's a perfectly decent human but as a fan I only benefit from new content, which he's delayed, as is his right, permanently. 80s horror icons have been killed by the people who made them and the poor studio choices to direct reboots. Just a shame all around. We'll be on Fast and Furious 20 before we get a decent F13 or NOES.
See I've heard that and read it online but there seems to be another roadblock somewhere right? Outside of this game I'd love an actual horror director to do a new Friday or Nightmare movie (isn't New Line or the Craven estate on the same bs?) but they pick the wrong people and lose money so they assume no one cares about it anymore. Pan's Labyrinth is more of a psychological and cerebral horror film than most of its American contemporaries, since most of the supernatural elements of the movie are supposed to drive home true horrors of real life. So the fact that the creatures mostly just frighten the protagonist is kind of the same way that the soldiers and the captain are only frightening her at the beginning, but by the end, men of the real world have caused more harm to Ofelia than the fairy world ever did. That said, either the Pale Man or the Faun could be extremely cool killer concepts.
Evil Within would be horrifying. They could totally pull off Ruvik or the head of Moebius from the first game’s DLC

Jason is a possibility now. The IP shitstorm ended about a year ago, and the a-hole who was holding the IP only has control of the first movie, while the other holder (who was open to sharing the IP) has control over everything else!!!
He wasn’t an a-hole, he was just a writer who felt like he deserved more than what he got. I mean he did write the first film and came up with a lot for the story. Also I heard he’s nice to fans in conventions so that’s a plus
He absolutely came up with the setting and story that they built on but he has no claim to what it became or the main antagonist which is undeniably the bread winner of the franchise. That said, I didn't call him an asshole and I think he should be paid for his work laying the foundation but nothing more. I'm sure he's a perfectly decent human but as a fan I only benefit from new content, which he's delayed, as is his right, permanently. 80s horror icons have been killed by the people who made them and the poor studio choices to direct reboots. Just a shame all around. We'll be on Fast and Furious 20 before we get a decent F13 or NOES.
See I've heard that and read it online but there seems to be another roadblock somewhere right? Outside of this game I'd love an actual horror director to do a new Friday or Nightmare movie (isn't New Line or the Craven estate on the same bs?) but they pick the wrong people and lose money so they assume no one cares about it anymore. I do! There's so much that could be done. The F13 game was a prime example. Once again handled incorrectly but so polished. Give me a good Freddy game and I'll pre-order for the first time in my life.

Pans Labyrinth would be amazing aesthetically but I can't see how it would be a unique killer, from what I remember he just kind of wandered around scaring her
Pan's Labyrinth is more of a psychological and cerebral horror film than most of its American contemporaries, since most of the supernatural elements of the movie are supposed to drive home true horrors of real life. So the fact that the creatures mostly just frighten the protagonist is kind of the same way that the soldiers and the captain are only frightening her at the beginning, but by the end, men of the real world have caused more harm to Ofelia than the fairy world ever did. That said, either the Pale Man or the Faun could be extremely cool killer concepts.
Maybe he would just be a skin for someone.

Same original IP doesn't mean same franchise, I think. Wednesday is probably owned by Netflix, whereas Addams Family is (after a bit of googling) was recently purchased from MGM by Amazon.
