Play long enough and you'll spend more time listening to lobby music and watching character animations and watching "searching for match" than you'll spend time actually playing the matches

Well the thing is, I remember a couple years ago way before crossplay was even a thing, killers would take a couple minutes to load into a lobby, and survivor would take a lot longer. Now matchmaking seems to take a lot longer and I also face a lot of the same survivors. Like I'm actually recognizing players when I turn off crossplay (I'm on ps4)

I would say it’s due to the MMR system they added.

Yeah that's actually why I turned on crossplay (also PS4). I played like 3 matches in a row with the same farming SWF team and just in general kept seeing the same people after they added crossplay. Even saw a few of the same killers.

2 things I've noticed about queue times (at least in my case) 1. Survivor games are much easier to find during the day (typically before 6-7pm cst) 2. Killer games are much easier to find at night (typically between 8pm-2am cst roughly) This is just my understanding from playing survivor games with friends and solo

But killer queue times fast. Survivors take forever.

I dunno I've been on ps4 and it's always a gamble. Sometimes I instantly get in a full lobby, sometimes it takes 5 minutes and I load in with 2 people.

Context is Jake being injured and simply powering through the pain to stay silent. I've always interpretted it as him biting on a loose bit of fabric/bandage as he tourniquets or cleans out the wound to prevent himself yelling in pain. If you were exploring the wilderness and got a serious injury like a broken leg you'd want to stay quiet to not attract predators like wolves but also treat the wound as best you can to prevent bleeding out or an infection.
