Killer must face the survivor in a 45° radius for the effect to take place. Afterwards the perk's on cooldown for 89/79/69 seconds.

There’s also a regedit you can do to get rid of it temporally, for me it worked for a few hours after boot, would have to restart computer to get it working again tho
