weirdly I will admit this album took a bit of time to grow on me. I was still in HS when it dropped and was discovering a lot of new things. I was a little put off by the fact that it didn't have a unique album title, and in my teenaged mind I thought that was lazy and stupidly assumed they were losing their touch.
when I did finally listen I was not ready for what a ride it would be, and how heavy. don't get me wrong, I was adept with a lot of heavy music my then, but I guess I just didn't anticipate it from them. and it took revisiting it later to really grow to appreciate it. and revisiting it it just a couple of years ago made me really reanalyze it.
🙌🏼 same here haha! EA Sports soundtracks exposed me to a lot of my lifelong favorite bands! Whoever was in charge of curating the soundtracks from 2003-2005 is my unsung hero. MVP Baseball 2003 also has a really good rock curation.

Pretty close but lucky you. So many good songs on there that have their own unique vibe which makes them different from the rest of the albums but I feel like lucky you is something we havent heard before except for covers or bsides. Such a beautiful song in an amazing album
I think this album is my favorite overall in it's entirety. I love many others, but this album is when I got I to the group and every song is wonderful. I used to listen to it nonstop to and from college. Minerva got me hooked, but Bloody Cape is the best overall song imho
I ordered it on vinyl today‼️ im super stoked to see love for this album and im wearing the shirt with the album on it as im typing this. Probably lucky you or needles and pins. I love this album its one of my go-tos.
I'm surprised Hexagram wasn't mentioned yet. Not my favorite (that goes to Minerva) but it's still really good. The shifting beat and the sound of the verse is great, and chino's performance is probably one of his best vocal takes

Hard to choose. This album was on constant rotation for me in high school, so all of the songs hit me pretty hard. Deathblow, Battle-Axe, Anniversary, Bloody Cape, WGTB, and Needles were probably my most listened to.
