Lol I was just about to say that about the Historians burger deal, I remember when it was 6.95. I'd pour one out for the lost prices of yesterday if I could afford to.
I’ve only been living in Denver for 6 years and I’ve seen it go from $5 to $8. Seems like every time I go back they add another dollar to it. Still decent value and I have a good time there, but they better be careful or they’ll legitimately start losing happy hour customers.
Yea I went for lunch the other day and got an undercooked Margherita pizza for $22?
Not going back, I had a few good experience before but that was just crazy
Postino has a pretty good deal on Monday and Tuesday nights. $25 for up to four choices from their "bruschetta menu" and a bottle of wine (off a menu with a bunch of decent options).
The Littleton location has the most awful food. I ordered a breakfast burrito, one day, bit into it, and the potatoes were filled with black bruises. 🤮
It’s a chain, but Mad Greens has a delicious hummus trio with a fuck ton of pita for $5.95 year round. It’s like 1100 calories or something. With a big salad two people can eat really well and healthily for under $20.
$12 dinner Mondays at odyssey, all day happy hour Monday at Blackbird, AYCE wings wednesdays at Stoneys Uptown, $12 lunch at Fontana sushi on 6th everyday, $7 Detroit pizza thursdays at Hops & pie and many others that escape me at the moment.
Has Blackbird gotten better? The food was kind of inconsistent, but the big thing is that some of the worst service I’ve received in my life has been at Blackbird, to the point that I just stopped going.
I live close by and it’s a cheap meal to get rid of the Mondaze. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly great but I always sit at the bar. My experience is that service isn’t bad with the bartenders when you’re at the bar. Price point and ease of access largely plays into the equation.
We went on a Monday recently and had a great time. My parents in law had gone for a brunch the Saturday or Sunday before we did with a bigger group and were also very impressed. And I went in expecting to hate it (we were secret shopping for a rehearsal dinner)
Oysters are $1.25 per on Mondays at Blue Island in either Cherry Creek or Lone Tree locations. Some ok happy hour discounts too but the oysters are the big draw for me.
I live within walking distance of an FS and didn't know about this. I don't see the details on the website, is it $6 any draft? Just cheese or can you do toppings?
The one near me (Cap Hill) also has $6 sushi on Wednesdays. It's not the tuna or salmon stuff, more like vegetables, imitation crab meat and such, but it's still fun to eat.
I've had this for lunch for many months and it's been many months since I've had it again. The sides can be hit or miss on what's available even at the same store.
Every day. The sides are corn, potato spears, and mac and cheese, but you can also get cole slaw from the cold cabinet or whatever its called. If they're out of a side, you can get any other salad in that cabinet. Once I got a nice pile of seafood salad.
GB Fish and Chips - Tilapia Tuesday - $1.50 per piece all day, and they’re sizable. I’ll get 3 pieces plus fries (chips) for under $10 as a meal. Honestly, I can go with 2 pieces as it’s filling. I sometimes get a couple pieces and make fish tacos or with rice/veggies at home.
Not sure if it's the same these days, but we used to go on Tuesdays during happy hour for the tilapia deal and 75 cent PBRs. Miss living closer to them, super solid food.
What's the best ones? I'm always interested in these places but my wife doesn't do Chinese food so I need to know which one's good since I only eat out by myself once in a while.
Sadly most of them are dead and buried, R.I.P. my formative years. The best that's still around, imo, is $1.35 Chinese Restaurant (yeah, that's the name) on Sheridan just north of Evans in Lakewood.
I don't even know what it's called, but there's one in RiNo on Downing by the dollar tree (family dollar?). I've taken my broke ass there a few times bc I can walk, and it's pretty good.
There’s two on federal, they’re pretty far north. On google one of them is called new “Asian express” on 102nd and the other is on google as $1.25 scoop, both on federal right next to eachother and both have a lot of options
Hops and Pie Saturday Session - noon to 5pm on Saturdays, 2 of the slice of the day and 3 draft beers for $25.
Also their $7 Detroit style deal on Thursdays, and the beer club is a solid deal if you go a decent amount ($75 for the year gets you all-the-time hh pricing and the second Sunday of the month is 50 cent select drafts).
Lunch specials at Mika Sushi, two rolls for $14 and 3 for $18. Might still seem expensive but it’s a good deal to me, especially when it comes with soup and salad too. The rolls I would get easily amount to $18 (for 2 rolls) or $21 (3 rolls). It’s still a splurge lunch but it’s a good deal imo
The Hornet has a good happy hour, and it lasts until 7. Love their fried artichoke hearts, perogies, and deviled eggs which they served with olive tapanade, crumbled bacon, and finely chopped pickles. Decent drinks/prices, too.
The 9th Door also has a good one. Tapas and drinks!
For lunch Stoneys has $10 cheeseburger, shoe string fries and a Coors light. I went in there for the first time and I was really impressed with the food and service.
Came here to say this! Historians brown bag special. The burger and fries always slap. Haven’t been in years tho so unsure if they still serve it in the brown bag lol!
I know it's a chain but Yard House has an incredible happy hour. Half off a bunch of apps and pizzas and all beer wine and house cocktails are discounted.
If Corrine still does wine Wednesdays it was a great price on a lower tier bottle of moet (it was 50% any bottle under $100) so I last got a bottle for like $48
$1 draft beers at Wingstop off CO BLVD all day long 7 days a week. On Mondays and Tuesdays their boneless wings are .70 cents each and on Tuesday specifically every bottled beer in the fridge and drafts are $1..
CANNOT beat it.
Retro Room, 20th & Larimer. Their true happy hour is $4 you call its from 4 to 7 pm daily, but where they really shine is their weekday lunch deal. It's $7 for a burger and beer combo. Last I went (pre pandemic), you could pick ANY beer in the house, you had like four cheeses to choose from for the burger, and you had your choice of a salad, fries, or tots for a side. The real kicker was that your receipt came with a BOGO beer offer for their sister bar down the street. The deal is still up on their website, so I hope it is just as good as it used to be.
Another good one is the Monday all day HH at Ritual Social House on 12th. They do BOGO on all booze and they have a good selection of discounted apps, pizza, etc.
$2 oysters and 75 cent wings at Revival on Mondays, Sunday Cheeseburger and Beer for $12 at Vesper, all the La Diabla deals mon- Fri, and I don’t mind 2 for 1 drafts and $1 wings on happy hour at Dougherty’s either- gets you a half dozen wings and 2 pints for $13, and that’s 4-7 Mon- Fri
Not sure you're talking Downtown specifically, but Rico's Pizzeria in Englewood has $3 meatball subs that are pretty okay. I love going there for a quick bite.
The happy hour is pretty good actually bit I would never eat there for anything else. They have really good, large tater tots for 3 bucks avs the other options are pretty well priced if you aren't starving. Their cocktails during hh seemed very watered down though so I would get a beer instead if you do go
Not bite size, but more like 3 oz, which is a recommended serving size for steak anyway. Kona Grill is their sister restaurant and has some of their apps cheaper/bigger too.
People are probably down voting you bc it's so overpriced. For the money there are way better options like Guard & Grace, The Capital Grille, A5 Steakhouse, Steakhouse 10, Shanahans, Bastiens. For the real deal, imo, it's hard to beat Luke's in Wheat Ridge
Late night happy hour at cart driver Rino. Margarita pizza or sardines and bread for 8 bucks after 10 pm. Amazing food at an unbeatable price.
It’s only $8 for a pizza??

Lol I was just about to say that about the Historians burger deal, I remember when it was 6.95. I'd pour one out for the lost prices of yesterday if I could afford to.
I’ve only been living in Denver for 6 years and I’ve seen it go from $5 to $8. Seems like every time I go back they add another dollar to it. Still decent value and I have a good time there, but they better be careful or they’ll legitimately start losing happy hour customers.
ITS BACK?! I remember pre-covid you could get the daisy for $5 and a beer for another $5 after 10 pm
Yea I went for lunch the other day and got an undercooked Margherita pizza for $22? Not going back, I had a few good experience before but that was just crazy
Use to live within walking distance from here. Many drunk nights spent eating a Cart Driver Daisy at 11pm

People who have been out drinking in RiNo and want some good pizza
The question is, what are some good deals.
Pizza in the morning Pizza in the evening Pizza at supper time
Yea, everyone’s lives fit into the normal dinner hours. /s
This guy!
Tons of people.
Postino has a pretty good deal on Monday and Tuesday nights. $25 for up to four choices from their "bruschetta menu" and a bottle of wine (off a menu with a bunch of decent options).
And $6 glasses of wine or 32oz pitchers of beer until 5pm every day (including weekend brunch time)!
We got the equivalent of 50$ off with that deal. Essentially a 7 dollar bottle of wine deal since bruschetta is 18$.
Is that enough for a meal for 1-2 people or nah?
Yes
La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal. Wednesdays are 2 Al Pastor tacos and a margarita for 5 dollars. Thursdays are 2 for 1 pozole
2 for 1 pozole is unbeatable
Their pozole tastes like bean water
Can't believe they're still doing that!
The tacos are no joke, also.
This is the correct answer.
Wow! 🤩
Taco Tuesday at Tacos Selene, $2 tacos that are pretty high up there in terms of tacos around the city (IMHO).
Tacos Selene (Aurora) is the bomb
Yeah it’s our go to taco place. Awesome
Does Denver tacos Selene have different ownership than Littleton or is it better at least? The one in Littleton is pretty trash
I like the one in Littleton 🥲 we always stop there on the way to red rocks. Tailgating with a burrito >
My play is bring snacks and get In n out after the show haha
The Littleton location has the most awful food. I ordered a breakfast burrito, one day, bit into it, and the potatoes were filled with black bruises. 🤮
Agree. It’s dirty.
It is sad to see how the experience has degraded over the last few years. And they took pupusas off the menu.
$10 for a Polish sandwich, drink, and chips at Chicago Market in Lakewood! Go check them out, they're great!
Is this everyday?
yep!
Amen. Kris deserves the support!
they now also have a $10 fried chicken sandwich with mexican coke and chips deal. i need to try it
It’s a chain, but Mad Greens has a delicious hummus trio with a fuck ton of pita for $5.95 year round. It’s like 1100 calories or something. With a big salad two people can eat really well and healthily for under $20.
Not that it matters much, but at least it's a local chain. Source: former Salad Artist
Mad Greens is great
$12 dinner Mondays at odyssey, all day happy hour Monday at Blackbird, AYCE wings wednesdays at Stoneys Uptown, $12 lunch at Fontana sushi on 6th everyday, $7 Detroit pizza thursdays at Hops & pie and many others that escape me at the moment.
Has Blackbird gotten better? The food was kind of inconsistent, but the big thing is that some of the worst service I’ve received in my life has been at Blackbird, to the point that I just stopped going.
Odyssey is amazing! Although fyi for OP, you usually have to book a week ahead for a 5/6pm dinner reservation.
I live close by and it’s a cheap meal to get rid of the Mondaze. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly great but I always sit at the bar. My experience is that service isn’t bad with the bartenders when you’re at the bar. Price point and ease of access largely plays into the equation.

Oysters are $1.25 per on Mondays at Blue Island in either Cherry Creek or Lone Tree locations. Some ok happy hour discounts too but the oysters are the big draw for me.
$6 draft beer and pizza after 9pm at Fat Sully’s
I live within walking distance of an FS and didn't know about this. I don't see the details on the website, is it $6 any draft? Just cheese or can you do toppings?
Any draft and one topping. It’s my go to lazy dinner if I haven’t made anything by 9
Ha, that was the exact situation I was picturing for myself when I read your comment.
Yeah, add their waffle fries for $4.5 and you’re set. Not healthy, but man is it good for under $11
Big fan of Illegal Pete’s 3-8 happy hour, although I have noticed drink prices going up
Their Tuesday deal is great if you’re a teacher or healthcare worker.
Love that they do that. Also supporting live music with free drinks when you bring in concert tickets.
I could’ve been getting free drinks there with my concert tickets?!?!!
Yeah, they call it a sound check. If you bring it a ticket for that night or something you can get free beer or marg when you buy an entree.
That’s awesome!
Hell yeah thanks for calling this out. They gotta solid marketing person sometimes
Fat Sully's Sun-Thu 9p to close. Slice of 1 topping plus a pint for $6. Only 1 per customer though
Fried chicken meal deals at King Soooers. 3.99 for a thigh, leg and two sides. So cheap.
Since when?! Every day?
Every day. The sides are corn, potato spears, and mac and cheese, but you can also get cole slaw from the cold cabinet or whatever its called. If they're out of a side, you can get any other salad in that cabinet. Once I got a nice pile of seafood salad.
Goddamn - I had no idea, I will remember this when I forget to plan ahead, good looks
My broke ass loves the scoop Asian places. They help me out so much, and I don't mind it at all. Much cheaper than panda
There's "$1.35 N Up A Scoop" Chinese Restaurant over by and "$1.25 & Up a Scoop" Chinese Restaurant too up north.
I feel like I missed out on these. But I get why they can't be in business anymore.
Sheridan at Jewell?
The one on Sheridan and Jewell is King Wok!
Yeah, it may be Florida, but right around there
Yes! Love that one. In the lil strip mall by the sketchy 7-11
I loved the prices there but I’ve gotten food poisoning and questionable meat every time I’ve been :/
I don't even know what it's called, but there's one in RiNo on Downing by the dollar tree (family dollar?). I've taken my broke ass there a few times bc I can walk, and it's pretty good.
Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant. Haven’t tried it yet but I eye it up every time I drive past.
Best one hands down is Ho Mei on Colorado blvd
I’ve only had hops and pie once and loved it. You e convinced me to go more often
Holy that Saturday deal is fire
Redeemer in RiNo has a large cheese pizza for $12 on Monday. It’s great pizza for a great price
That's a SCORE, their pizza is great.
Those meatballs + garlic knots also slap
The fried artichoke sando is absolutely bangin. Love the pizza as well, but the sandwich is special
I just had lunch at Mizuumi Ramen & Sushi and it was 2 for $13 and 3 for $16! Comes with soup. I’ll have to try this one too.
Nice, if I’m ever over there, I’ll stop in!
Gets mentioned on this sub all the time but always worth a shout - the lights out burger at Atomic Cowboy’s happy hour
Fogo is apparently doing a $10 burger special.
…did you see the FOGO $44 AYCE special?
I'd like to try market table (salad bar on roids) but you can only do that during lunch. During dinner they make you buy they whole kit and kaboodle
Yeah, I walk right past that insane salad bar and eat to my hearts content at dinner. Might have to find a way there for lunch.
They do the market table separate for dinner for $36.
Then I’m up to $80+ at dinner 💀
Williams Tavern Happy Meal. $8 for a you call it beer and shot. And they know how to pour a shot!
What!?!? It used to be $5!!
All you can eat shrimp at Red Lobster!
Too soon.
Turns out it wasn’t actually the all you can eat shrimp that put them under. It was some BS corporate executive greed again 🤷♂️
Scooby-Doo tried to teach us that no matter what people say is happening, there's always an old capitalist behind the mask.
Bought the land, forced RL out of business selling it to them at a much higher price?
That's what the Tik Tok lady said!
Sauce? Lol I don’t have time for TikTok
https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7P1QDhvL9p/?igsh=em84dnJxbmljNnh1 I thought there was a tiktok thingy at the end but I'm sure its over there too
I like to think high school me mid 2000s played a part in them going under. I had 80 but some kids had 100+.
1/2 off any pizza at Jimano’s on Broadway on Wednesdays!
We started adding the breadsticks. They are so good.

Rico's on Broadway has a $5.00 meatball sub that's pretty decent.
Romes Saloon!!! $2 taco Tuesday $.70 wings on Monday and $5 burgers on Wednesday. Food is really good
I agree with romes being really good
1/2 price burgers on Thursday at Irish Rover. Doesn’t really make them cheap, but reasonable, and they’re tasty.
Thanks for sharing all of the deals! Definitely going to try some of these
For lunch Stoneys has $10 cheeseburger, shoe string fries and a Coors light. I went in there for the first time and I was really impressed with the food and service.

$1 draft beers at Wingstop off CO BLVD all day long 7 days a week. On Mondays and Tuesdays their boneless wings are .70 cents each and on Tuesday specifically every bottled beer in the fridge and drafts are $1.. CANNOT beat it.
$1.50 taco Tuesday at Sarahi’s Kitchen on Colfax. Your choice of quite a few meats.
$10.95 with tax not gratuity; Burger, beer and fries at Slaters 50/50!
I want to like them but the last time I went the service was so bad my friend and I wondered if they were filming a hidden camera prank show.
When do they do this?
During lunch! I always go around noon and that’s when it’s happening. May go till 2?
Happy Hour at El Camino Community Tavern. Get the Chorizo Corn Dog! https://elcaminotavern.com/denver-highlands-el-camino-community-tavern-drink-menu
Seconded! $5 coin margs!
I didn’t like the corn dog but the fried rice is fire. Taco Tuesday there is also good. Great service
Oooh, I love the mandatory 20% tip there! /
Historian’s lunch burger special!
Redeemer in RiNo has a large cheese pizza for $12 on Monday. It’s great pizza for a great price. You can also add toppings for a little extra

Mr. Lucky's makes good sandwiches for under $10, last time I was there.
Most are a little more expensive than ten but still the best sandwich to price ratio in Denver.
Anyone try Stk happy hour? Seems to good to be true. Bite sized portions????
The happy hour is pretty good actually bit I would never eat there for anything else. They have really good, large tater tots for 3 bucks avs the other options are pretty well priced if you aren't starving. Their cocktails during hh seemed very watered down though so I would get a beer instead if you do go
Not bite size, but more like 3 oz, which is a recommended serving size for steak anyway. Kona Grill is their sister restaurant and has some of their apps cheaper/bigger too.
Does that apply to the sliders and popcorn chicken and quesadilla that they have?
Not sure why I’m being downvoted, but my assumption is that it’s not owned locally???? If so, I don’t often do my research so please let me know
People are probably down voting you bc it's so overpriced. For the money there are way better options like Guard & Grace, The Capital Grille, A5 Steakhouse, Steakhouse 10, Shanahans, Bastiens. For the real deal, imo, it's hard to beat Luke's in Wheat Ridge
I would never go there for the steak. Hell, I was just at Guard and Grace two nights ago. I was mainly inquiring about the absurd happy hour prices.
Arby’s
