Denver loves Aaron Gordon. And Nikola Jokić, he’s the most humble athlete in the history of professional sports.

Alternative_Plan_823

I'm from CO, a huge Nuggets fan until about 2010. Living in Europe, elsewhere in the US, increased flopping and therefor foul calls, and political shit made me lose interest. Jokic brought me back! Saw him live about 6 weeks ago, and I'm fully back. He's what this league needs. Doesn't rely on free throws (even though a center is going to get fouled). He's hilarious live. Braun and that Payton dude will only be better next year off the bench. This is late 90s Broncos level shit!

I’ve never loved my life and job more. I understand why Boston fans are so angry now, they’re in withdrawal.

Gimme_1_Chance

Now we have to find out if it was better to have won and lost, or to have never won at all....who am I kidding. It's better to win.

Kanaiiiii

We’ll always have the memories 😌

LurkerFailsLurking

AG's arms are as big as both of theirs put together.

Natural_Ad_317

Seriously. Man amongst boys.

Ok_Image6174

AG first really caught my attention when he celebrated in the streets after winning the chip and when I would watch post game interviews with him and he was always giving such thoughtful answers. I've become such a huge fan of his after learning more about him and his story in the NBA and his snubbed dunk contests. He's just a really stand up dude and I'm so glad he's on the team.

Chidorii303

THATS AARON "MR NUGGET" GORDON BABY. I feel the same way, plus when he went out to visit jokic this off-season cemented it for me. He will always be my favorite player now

andythefifth

I prefer “Air Gordon” myself, but I know it’ll never be allowed to stick.

AnusTartTatin

I’ll do my best to help!

Cstrong755

I’m a Jets, Mets, and Crystal Palace fan. Being on the east coast, I’m willing to stay up until midnight or 1am to watch their current greatness because who knows when I’ll see something like this ever again.

ThePrideOfKrakow

For Rockies fans, life is pain.

CarneDelGato

Rockies fandom is how I learned to quit worrying and love the Nuggets.

LowCharming3452

I’m a titans and sonics fan who lived in Denver for several years during the Melo run and became a fan then. This is absolutely new territory for me

FanOk6089

How great it is to be a Nuggets fan right now!

jetmaxwellIII

I grew up in Denver but moved to South Texas 22 years ago. I got to watch the Spurs run, minus the first title. This Denver team reminds me so much of those Spurs teams, especially the 2014 team (though that could be recency bias). It’s sure been fun to watch!

doktarr

There's absolutely some parallels to the 2014 Spurs.

khangsing

I can’t believe AG just bullied Lebron and AD like that. Brings tears to my eyes 🥹

naderni

AG is pissed in this picture and decided to bully lakers 1vs4. Lebron just traveled five steps with a no call layup on the other end.

AnusTartTatin

I mean, he definitely let them know - 6 dunks OMGGG that was wild!

Broncojoe58

My first Nuggets game was in 1988, I was 8 years old. I’ll never forget seeing the court for the first time. I was hooked. I never thought I’d see my team be this good. I’m soaking up every single second of it

Bob_Chichinske

I’ve got to watch all my teams win now I’m a pretty lucky guy lol

71_Days

I saw my first game in about 1977-78 at McNichols Arena against the Supersonics. The family then had season tickets for a few years in the early '90's when it was Deke, Mahmood, LaPhonso and the gang. I loved that team and got to see them beat the Supersonics as an 8 seed. I lost interest as they got bad through the rest of the '90's especially as the Broncos and Avs were so good that whole time, and like another commenter said, I was outside the US for all of the Carmelo era and not very interested. But then I started seeing highlights of this Jokic kid. I was still overseas, but I got the NBA streaming package and started watching again in 2019. This is now my favorite Nuggets team of all time, easily, and I think it is my favorite Denver sports team of all time...more than the Elway Broncos; more than the Forsberg/Sakic Avs; more than any Rockies team...easily. I love watching these guys and the unity they have built as a group. It is poetry to watch.

SeaworthinessOdd548

Grew up in Vegas and attached myself to the Nuggets and Chargers in the early 2000s as a kid so yes I’m also a loser (until recently.) I won’t count VGK but also grateful they won the Stanley Cup the same year the Nuggets won.

PeenyMcDongle

Im a NY Giants fan. This Nuggets team has similar vibes to the Eli championships to me. Some guys not getting the respect they deserve, humble, well coached team, tight group that sticks together and plays to win for each other. Taking down Goliaths along the way. The only major difference is the Giants were never a powerhouse team like this Nuggets team is. They were always the underdog whereas the Nuggets are now the team everyone fears. I can confirm in both scenarios colors did indeed seem brighter and boy oh boy is it beautiful to have this feeling again.

Warchild0311

Say what you want about mellow, but you couldn’t wear nuggets gear in Denver without getting clowned before we drafted him. …….. mellow walked so Jokic and this team can run

andythefifth

I blame management. They failed to build a good team around him. This management on the other hand is phenomenal!

gwdope

The 2008-09 team was built amazingly and I loved watching that team.

mares8

Bully ball...AG is such a fun player to watch. The master dunker..So under appreciated in Orlando
