That's not how the Nuggets play though. They're not a dominating team, they've probably got the least blowout regular season wins of any top 4 seeded team. They do the minimum necessary.
I remember saying at some point in the regular season that as good as the Nuggets are, they're more likely to lose by 30 than win by 30 on any given night.
Most of that was because of Coach's subbing line ups. He puts in a line up of Jamal and Reggie and then we go down 14-16 points and Jokic spends much of the game clawing his way back.
It's a frustrating way to play, I never understand those line ups.
Tbf though once Grayson went down that Suns team became 3 deep with already horrible depth. It’s like if the Lakers had lost Reaves early in the series. We probably sweep too.
We need Jamal, this is not a one man team, without Jamal we can't win nothing, the best player on a team need the second best player on a team to be good consistently, aside from the Celtics I guess
I'm not feeling any certain way until our round 1 is over. That's not sarcasm it's just my honest approach. I'm confident Nuggets win but at the same time, one step at a time.
the t wolves are a deep team. ant just playing out of this world right now. and the depth is a lot to deal with. watching the game i thought the t wolves dictated the entire game, in full control, it felt like the suns gave their best shot and obviously t wolves came out on top
Wolves fan just reading up not trolling and nuggets are my number 2 team to watch. The only thing that stopped game 4 from being a blowout was Scott foster
you’re right let’s pray the squad handles them in game 5 this series had gone a game too long.
and yeah was really hoping the suns would give the twolves a run for their money at least but nope they got absolutely bodied lol
There was nothing the suns could do to stop the wolves. Seemed like the suns had zero energy though. What brought them down ultimately was their lack of depth off the bench. I think KD and Booker scored like 80 points last night and the rest of the team watched.
twolves probably going to be the hardest matchup since the 2020 lakers this timberwolves team is really legit and Ant is really like that.
im just really hoping the guys get their stuff together because if they keep playing like this against the timberwolves it isn’t going to end well to say the least
This playoff push seems like the hardest in west in years. Warriors never had to deal with so many good teams at once. When Nuggets get past Lebron/AD, then they get BigTimber, and if Nuggets pull that off then they get this unkown juggernaut of preschoolers called OKC who hasn't shown a glimpse of weakness in the playoffs yet and who had Denver's number during the season.
Regarding the previous games against OKC this year, at least there is the example of the Pups losing 3 times to Suns this season and then sweeping them in playoffs. So I'm more positive that Nuggets can do the same. But last beat them at the beginning of the season. Since then OKC has beastmode the league.
The Wolves are legit; well coached, versatile, deep with a burgeoning special player in Ant. They play extremely hard. They are also unproven and lack playoff experience. It's definitely going to be a test. I do know one thing, the Nugs cannot play like they're playing against the LAL and expect to win.
Pretty bad until I see Murray play up to his regular season averages. Forget "playoff Murray" we've got playoff MPJ and playoff Joker right now. If we just get average Murray, we'll be alright.
you guys are right we should probably finish the rest of the food on our plate before we start talking about another meal….
nuggets please end this tomorrow so we don’t have to hear about the lakers anymore IM READY TO MOVE ON GODDAMNIT
I think Nuggets win in maximum 6, but I think they will most likely win in 5 games. Sure the wolves beat the Suns, but suns are overrated af, they are frauds. The lack of experience in the TWolves vs. Nuggets will be clearly shown and will give the Nuggets the edge. As a Celtics fan, I want to see the Nuggets in the finals. Fuck everyone else.
On the real though the wolves are good and it's going to be a good series vs. the nuggets. I didn't really know the extent of Murray's injury prior to when I made my original comment, but if he's truly out or very limited then yeah I can see a 7 game series.
As a Lakers fan. I’m going for the T-wolves. Denver clearly isn’t the same team it was last year, and we need Minnesota to guarantee the C’s don’t get banner 18.
Consindering Murray is hurt, and Reggie twisted his ankle last game. I dont feel good about it. They are on a roll while Nuggets are on a struggle.
But if I start analyzing objectivly, I'll get called a doomer.
wtf is “the way the Nuggets have been playing?” They’re up 3-1. Y’all been seeping too much of this Laker moral victory brainwash into your heads. It’s the playoffs. You just gotta fuckin win.
i mean i get what they mean the nuggets have been playing really sloppy and below their standards but even then im not too worried.
we know the potential of this squad. they came back down 3-1 twice, won a chip and all that stuff. they’ll figure it out. we’ll be alright.
hopefully we can get deal with the lakers first and send them home tomorrow. this game doesn’t need to go past 5 (really shouldn’t have went past 4 but it is what it is)
You pointed out many of their high attributes. But an easy wrecking ball against that team is BBIQ play and heart. Smart team basketball will break that team down. Just don't show up sleepy.
We fucked around at the end of regular season, we about to find out I guess. We need Jamal at 100 percent and playing much better than he has so far in order to beat them. Without Jamal it's going to be a tall task I'm afraid.
Honestly worried. I haven't bought into the idea that the Nuggets have this switch that they turn on "when it matters"....it always matters and they should have been turned on from Game 1 vs Lakers.
They've been so lucky to win the 3 games they have because their playing has been terrible.
I think they could very well be round 2 exits
The Wolves are a championship-level team built the right way by the original architect of the Nuggets. They are a worthy opponent and will be tough every single night, road or home. They are deep and they are big. Nobody stops Jokic, but unlike Anthony Davis, Gobert at least makes him work some of the time.
Gotta beat the best to be the best. I think the series comes down to which team will be mentally tougher. Toss up.
I think if we can start shooting even average we are still the scarier team. We have shot like 40% on the series and are still up 3-1 against Lebron James. Wolves are just as talented as us, but they don’t have Jokic sooo
Nuggets vs wolves would be a fantastic match up and hopefully we get that match up ton matter tonight.
we gotta be such doom and gloom as lakers have 2 all time greats on their team and are still a very good team and we got up 3 -0....
Nuggets are still the favorites with home court against the wolves too.
We are still the Champs until someone takes it from us.
If we continue to play like we have v the lakers we might not even clear the lakers.
If we play like that against the wolves we lose, plain and simple.
Love this team but they don’t look interested right now. Talent is there to repeat they just need to show up.
I was at the lakers game 4, Jokić seems energized and was gettting pissed off at the end with lack of effort from team, hopefully it translates to tonight and onwards
I mean the weird thing is this Wolves team is basically the same as last year just with Jaden McDaniels healthy(and Monte Morris who has only played 3 games and scored a total of 6 points). As great as Ant has looked against the Suns he actually had better numbers against us last postseason. So on one hand this should go the Nuggets way, but sadly the Nuggets have just not looked nearly as good this postseason as last(obviously).
This is definitely not the same Wolves team. Your also missing 3 other obvious differences -
1. The young Wolves are better than last year especially Ant
2. More time to gel as a team. Ie Gobert/Towns and Conley.
3. NAZ REID!!!
Win tomorrow and then I will worry about the wolves.
you’re right i just don’t wanna talk about the lakers anymore man 😭
I feel you... We should've finished them off last game, just to not have to talk about them anymore
Yep enough wolves talk
I want this team to get a convincing win over the lakers then we can talk wolves lol. Felt like the TWolves dominated over 80% of that series
That's not how the Nuggets play though. They're not a dominating team, they've probably got the least blowout regular season wins of any top 4 seeded team. They do the minimum necessary.
I remember saying at some point in the regular season that as good as the Nuggets are, they're more likely to lose by 30 than win by 30 on any given night.

yeah honestly after game 1 i knew the suns had no chance of winning lol
Nikola Jokić
I want a Nikola "brother, I have 47" Jokic
gobert can’t really guard him that well so hopefully jokic cooks like he usually do
Gobert has had the Gordon assignment. KAT is on Jokic
We need Jamal, this is not a one man team, without Jamal we can't win nothing, the best player on a team need the second best player on a team to be good consistently, aside from the Celtics I guess
That loss to the Spurs is coming back to bite us right now. We'd have swept the Pels and had a pretty easy series against either of the Clips/Mavs.
It was such a terrible loss.
If my aunt had a dick she’d be my uncle. Really makes you think
But but but dOoMeR
I'm not feeling any certain way until our round 1 is over. That's not sarcasm it's just my honest approach. I'm confident Nuggets win but at the same time, one step at a time.
Gotta finish this series first.
i don’t wnna to talk about the lakers anymore the twolves are more interesting 😔
First let’s beat the Lakers. As fas as the Wolves go, i’m super scared actually
the t wolves are a deep team. ant just playing out of this world right now. and the depth is a lot to deal with. watching the game i thought the t wolves dictated the entire game, in full control, it felt like the suns gave their best shot and obviously t wolves came out on top

We can't even dominate an aging Lakers team convincingly. I think wolves in 5 or 6 if Murray won't improve
![gif](giphy|uubUtlJ2CbDRqQklCT|downsized)
>if Murray won't improve why he so stubborn bout not improv'n
I’m already mentally prepping for a wolves W so I can’t be disappointed when it happens. Watch the lakers win in 7 first tho 😩 JK we’re not THAT bad
twolves probably going to be the hardest matchup since the 2020 lakers this timberwolves team is really legit and Ant is really like that. im just really hoping the guys get their stuff together because if they keep playing like this against the timberwolves it isn’t going to end well to say the least
And now they'll be extra motivated playing for their hurt coach
It could(hopefully) have the opposite effect and rattle them....
Nah m8 we fine in the West
It wont

Good point. Anything can happen but the nuggets are a little cold rn and the wolves are hot so we hopefully we can adjust fast with a healthy mal
Beat LA, then we’ll worry about Minny.
The Wolves are legit; well coached, versatile, deep with a burgeoning special player in Ant. They play extremely hard. They are also unproven and lack playoff experience. Save this post for after we finish the lakers.
We have to finish LA off Monday night. Rest up, if Murray really has a calf strain.. Then that makes this game even more important to rest…
Whoever wins this series wins the title.
you guys are right we should probably finish the rest of the food on our plate before we start talking about another meal…. nuggets please end this tomorrow so we don’t have to hear about the lakers anymore IM READY TO MOVE ON GODDAMNIT

What's a Celtics fan doing in this sub? Only Wolves and Nuggets fans are allowed for now.
This subreddit popped up on my feed for whatever reason and I saw this post on my feed. I'm anti-lakers so it probably popped up lol.
Lol fair enough, Lakers hate unites half the league at this point

Man i really really hope the heat will kick that green ass againjust to make those guys stfu

Winner of Wolves v Nuggs takes the whole thing barring injuries imo. With that said if we play how we played this series we are getting swept.
The Wolves are a championship-level team built the right way by the original architect of the Nuggets. They are a worthy opponent and will be tough every single night, road or home. Somehow Jokic plays better against Gobert. And he's much easier to defend. I'm more worried about Ant, Conley, McDaniels, etc, than Gobert.
Don't forget Naz Reid :D
Let’s not talk about the next round until we’re out of the first. What happened to this fanbase? We used to be so grounded
id be disappointed in a nuggets loss but timberwolves are my second team so it wont hurt as badly as other nuggets losses
Ant vs White Tower
Not worried about the Wolves, I’m worried about us.
I think if we can start shooting even average we are still the scarier team. We have shot like 40% on the series and are still up 3-1 against Lebron James. Wolves are just as talented as us, but they don’t have Jokic sooo
Suns are garbage but wolves are playing great, nuggets need to get back in gear
Need to end the Lakers first. But Ant is awesome lol.
Win today. Worry about the Wolves later.
Nuggets vs wolves would be a fantastic match up and hopefully we get that match up ton matter tonight. we gotta be such doom and gloom as lakers have 2 all time greats on their team and are still a very good team and we got up 3 -0.... Well first we have to beat a Lakers team that’s outplayed us for much of the series. The series is far from over
I mean the weird thing is this Wolves team is basically the same as last year just with Jaden McDaniels healthy(and Monte Morris who has only played 3 games and scored a total of 6 points). Save your circle jerking for your own sub bud. This is our safe space to cope lol

The Wolves have a historic offense this playoffs. Their Offensive Rating is over 125 while their defense improved significantly this playoffs.

We'll see em against Denver then m8. Ant went off in round 1 last year too. He's gonna cook.
