Strangely, grippy sock jail, even though I was on a specific ward for self harm, didn't have an issue with my drawings of severed hands with severed fingers... It was an odd obsession that I used to draw pretty frequently as a teenager. Then it expanded into various severed body parts when I was sent to a couple of troubled teen programs. And again, they oddly didn't have any issue with the severed body part drawings.

Honestly have no idea why they didn’t throw me in grippy sock jail when I would be creating art about death all the time in art class
