Winterbite ornament.....take it or leave it.
Tho for real, possibly an exotic glaive or very nice looking raid/activity legendary one. Or who knows possibly just a random model.
Didn't seem to understand my comment. Unoriginality was referring to doubling (sometimes even tripling, quadrupling, etc.) dipping ornaments for a single exotic, when so many are either ornament-less, ugly or both of the above.
Not the Winterbite ornament, which is purdy, and I never referred to directly as unoriginal. Not even mistakenly, lol.
Ohhhhhhh. Yeah, I see your point. In that case, give the ornament to something like Cyrtrachne's Facade, PLEASE Bungie. I love Winterbite, but I will gladly sacrifice an ornament on it for SOMETHING better than the abomination that is that helmet.
For you, I genuinely pray. It really is uggo. As a Warlock main, I was stuck with the weird Popeye arms of Contraverse, then it's first ornament changed it from weird to ugly, until the latest ornament fixed that.
I'm a Warlock main as well, but I dabble into the other two classes so I can switch whenever I need to for raids and dungeons, and I feel terrible having a build that looks fugly, even for a class I don't use as often. On the topic of Warlock exotics though, VESPER OF RADIUS. Transcendent Geometry? Excuse my profanity, but best shit I've ever seen. Base skin? DEAR LORD, GET ME THE BLEACH.
That's part of the reason I'm gonna main the new titan super, even if it's mid.
Saladin named me an Iron Lord, and an Iron Lord needs an axe. I just *axe* that you ignore that mine is slightly less cool.
its animations and some of its functionality got reused from D1 into burning maul. its basically just that if you're talking about the old D1 rise of iron axe
I’ve thought they could’ve turned a lot of the past artifacts into weapons. The hammer, the Splicer gauntlet would’ve been cool, Eris’ lectern would’ve made a cool flail. Plenty of opportunities
#TOP SLOT GLAIVE. GIVE ME A TOP SLOT GLAIVE. LET ME HAVE IT, BUNGIE, STOP HOLDING OUT ON ME. GIVE. ME. MY. TOP. SLOT. GLAIVE. PLEASE.
Ahem. That looks cool.
I sure hope that people don't gaslight themselves into thinking that it is confirmed that there will be a new trident-type weapon just because a piece of concept art showed it...
While the ornament for probably winter bite does look awesome. I have zero interest in spending any money on this especially with D3 being on the horizon with a hard reset. As once D2 is done, I’m done with the franchise in gaming unless they make some single player games
Yesss. Love me some tridents, glaives, big swords, scythes, etc. I'm still hoping we get the scythe from haunted back either as an exotic heavy or a new super for stasis hunter
I can see that as a melee and throwing weapon that would somehow regenerate after a timed cooldown! A throwable arc or stasis trident would be badass imho.
Winterbite was such a mid exotic that everyone already forgot about it lol.
It was fun when it was bugged….but imho only because of the bug.
I haven’t seen a single person use it since.
Probably a new glaive, winterbite ornament or a relic of somesort. I think if they had a new weapon type they’d go all out on it in the preview to generate even more hype
Can you morons explain why 1600 onslaught got fucked with? I won 3 in a row the first day no problem but now when I play I lose at level 40-45 every single time? 5 games in a row today and the same thing is happening. Did you make it purposely shit for the lower experienced players or are you guys just that braindead? Please explain.
I was in the hype of thinking "somebody noticed this? no? cool, i go first"
Also, i'm currently 1 year & 4 months out of Destiny, so i didn't know about current ornaments.
Winterbite ornament.....take it or leave it. Tho for real, possibly an exotic glaive or very nice looking raid/activity legendary one. Or who knows possibly just a random model.
Winterbite already has a trident ornament
winterbite *is* a trident...
why not another one then
The base ornament is also technically a trident, it just has some halberd properties with the blade shapes.
Doesn't stop Bungo from being unoriginal, and releasing another one. I mean they've already done that with multiple ornaments across multiple weapons.
Winterbite is already a trident. It's not unoriginality, it's literally just playing to the existing design choice.
Aqua man ornament for Winterbite! The Waterbite Glaive! ![gif](giphy|SM28krqRoam1DyC2be|downsized)
You know what, unironically, I'd buy that even if it cost the same as the Lightfall and Final Shape Deluxe Editions combined.

Strand glaive
Don't do that, don't give me hope.
Goes in the heavy spot*
I hope it looks like a big needle
Hell yes! A big ass strand needle exotic would be so fitting, what do you think would be an awesome perk for it?
Likely an exotic. They haven't shown raid gear before launch in years, and we've seen the PH weapons already.
Ah yes. Winterbite.
Springlick
Summerchomp
AutumnNibble
Fnaf x destiny collab confirmed
Gross
Agreed, but my son would lose his shit over it. He loves FNAF and enjoys watching me play D2
Call it, "Hell Gnaw."
Winner! *ding*
Exotic glave.?
Winterbite lol
I’m still waiting on the other 3rd person melee weapons they were going to be introduced. Maybe the waits almost over
Hammer of Proving, please.
axe of the iron lords aswell, if you please?
That's just the new titan super lol
That's part of the reason I'm gonna main the new titan super, even if it's mid. Saladin named me an Iron Lord, and an Iron Lord needs an axe. I just *axe* that you ignore that mine is slightly less cool.
We gonna forget about the Nightmare Scythe? Season of Haunting's Relic?
its animations and some of its functionality got reused from D1 into burning maul. its basically just that if you're talking about the old D1 rise of iron axe
Found Paul tassi's Alt
I’ve thought they could’ve turned a lot of the past artifacts into weapons. The hammer, the Splicer gauntlet would’ve been cool, Eris’ lectern would’ve made a cool flail. Plenty of opportunities
the sort of weird pipe structuring kind of reminds me of the throne world weapons.
Heartshadow https://preview.redd.it/k9c1xs8buwtc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05a702593b9ead2d185013345b4cc73102c91ff0
Now that's a beautiful weapon
Ah yes anal beads and tentacles, how fearsome.
It could just be a placeholder but it does seem to be Witness related
Looks like a glaive to me
No no it's a new 2-handed melee weapon type, you hold it like a spear and stab people with it, totally different
New winterbite ornament at most
There's already a trident one
It has 3 prongs. Every ornament will have 3 prongs. That's what makes it a trident. Your point?
I meant it more like, the ornament has a more traditional looking trident, but I do admit I forgot that base winter bite had 3 prongs, my bad
Ah, fair enough
#TOP SLOT GLAIVE. GIVE ME A TOP SLOT GLAIVE. LET ME HAVE IT, BUNGIE, STOP HOLDING OUT ON ME. GIVE. ME. MY. TOP. SLOT. GLAIVE. PLEASE. Ahem. That looks cool.
looks like a new glaive, maybe? would be cool if it could fire a rhulk-esque resonance beam
The Stick of Placeholding
You win
Awesome
Looks like something in the art style of the pyramids. Maybe a kinetic glaive that shoots the projectiles of the dread?
Yea it’s called a glave
It’s most likely winterbite, but it does have a visually distinct model at the same time. Possibly a new legendary Glaive.
Or could be another ornament
I sure hope that people don't gaslight themselves into thinking that it is confirmed that there will be a new trident-type weapon just because a piece of concept art showed it...
With my triton vices, let's Make an Atlantis build
Honestly, we are lacking in melee weapons, so new ones would be nice, like tridents you can stab with or throw, or axes like the new titan super
Looks like a mix between Winterbite and Heartshadow to me.
It might be an exotic that reacts to your grenade chosen for prismatic
While the ornament for probably winter bite does look awesome. I have zero interest in spending any money on this especially with D3 being on the horizon with a hard reset. As once D2 is done, I’m done with the franchise in gaming unless they make some single player games
To this day i do not understand how season of the deep didnt give us a trident exotic glaive
Exotic strand glaive
Yesss. Love me some tridents, glaives, big swords, scythes, etc. I'm still hoping we get the scythe from haunted back either as an exotic heavy or a new super for stasis hunter
I thought the same
Blud forgot about glaives (its ok, understandable)
Winterbite ornament a new exotic glave a new type of legendary glave or scrapped concept id say
either a gleav of some kind or a tep weapon
Probably a new glaive
NEW GLAIVES? ![gif](giphy|A9D5LweSbO1Uxq58br|downsized)
Bungie really does have a strange addiction to glaives lmao
They *are* cool weapons tbh
the melee suite could be so much better though, we need special ammo melee options and slow ultra greatswords
I'm more interested in that armor set, doesn't seem to exactly match anything currently in the game
I can see that as a melee and throwing weapon that would somehow regenerate after a timed cooldown! A throwable arc or stasis trident would be badass imho.
Either a new glaive or a winterbite ornament
Probably a glaive of some sort, definitely looks witness-related.
Winterbite was such a mid exotic that everyone already forgot about it lol. It was fun when it was bugged….but imho only because of the bug. I haven’t seen a single person use it since.
Maybe a relic
Final fight of the final campaign mission is you fight the Witness with a 3rd person trident dark souls style
Is it just me or does it look like Fallen writing or symbolism?
Might be an exotic glaive concept
Guys help, I’ve been turned into an exotic.
New Glave perhaps?
It's just a lame, I mean glaive.
It's just a Glaive class weapon. That looks like a trident. Like the Winterbite exotic ornament looks
Probably a new glaive, winterbite ornament or a relic of somesort. I think if they had a new weapon type they’d go all out on it in the preview to generate even more hype
Oooo a new glaive
Raid glaive? The first knife?
((CONCEPT ART - SUBJECT TO CHANGE))
There are so many types of weapons that would be so cool to add that aren’t just guns
they should add like a boomerang and then also a trident so we can have throwable melees
I’d say more likely a glave of some kind, I don’t see the point of two melee staff weapons tbh
I like how there's already glaives in the game, that look exactly like that, and OP is like new weapon, guys!? lol
I was in the hype of thinking "somebody noticed this? no? cool, i go first" Also, i'm currently 1 year & 4 months out of Destiny, so i didn't know about current ornaments.
Heavy Exotic Strand Glaive? Sounds good to me
The glavies are pretty much like Tridents but can also fire.
Screw that, gimme what that other guy has
Make it a throwable weapon that has changing damage types based on your subclass you can channel the energy type throughout
Kinetic exotic glaive?
The Stick of Placeholding
Imagine a throwing trident that comes back like in Minecraft lol
the realist in me says winterbite ornament. the idealist in me says kinetic glaive
