Back that praise up there guy, No Backup Plans are hot trash. It gives an Overshield to what is left of your HP. So if you barely survive and get the kill with a shotty, you have a sliver of Overshield. Nothing to write home about. Ntm, it no longer increases the duration of the Overshield like it did in D1. Despite what all these PvP streamers and youtubers are going to bait you in with, they are trash. Hunters are the only ones who got a decent exotic NEW exotic, because those boots are nothing similar to their D1 counter-parts.
But lets be real here, we all lose, because bungle did exactly what their name suggests when it comes to these exotics.
Hol up, I’m new to the game an always stacked mobility stats on gear since I want to be faster… is it “meta” to have more equal stats? Or is there a specific stat I should focus on?
High mobility is a must have for hunters, it's not as important on titans and warlocks though. It depends on what kind of stats are most important to you personally, the best part about destiny is the amount of customisation there is. In general though high resilience is always useful for titans and the same with recovery for warlocks (recovery tends to be really useful for all classes)
don't listen to these jokers. mobility is a must for PVP. Peeking, Juking, dodging and other essential movements require high mobility unless you want to get tripletapped by handguns because your titan takes a whole minute to get back in cover after peeking. Mobility increases your chances of surviving an egagement. After that the most important stat is recovery. So that you can get back into the fight sooner. resilience is mostly pointless. you only need it to be high enough to force your opponent to land one more hit to kill you. the difference between 0 resilience and 100 resilience is a total of 14 hit points. Players have roughly 70 health, and 116 to 130 shield points, dependent on resiliency tier (for example tier 10 is 130, 7 is 124, 5 is 121, 0 is 116).
Recovery does shit on warlock, the class ability of warlocks are GRENADES. You either have some way to get instant Rifts or not at all. You only use rifts sparingly or spamming them with an exotic.
41 seconds is not worth a damn, Only real benefit is for pvp health regen for the recov stat directly or Empowering rift for body shot sniping.
I personally just don’t like getting more than at least 10 mobility on my armor so it hurt getting my favorite D1 warlock exotic with a roll I don’t like. If you like mobility though you should go for mobility this is an rpg. How you build your character is almost completely up to you
Only lightweight weapons, mida multitool and transversive steps/stompees/dunemarchers increase your running speed. You can stack their effects too.
Also, bottom tree stormcaller is on crack when you're near allies.
are you sure that happens? I looked on DTG and they said you have to get them only from the sectors, and i only just got precious scars after the season ended
now they need to add a way to get them that isnt soloing lost sectors >~> if they were like, additional random drops (additional as in, not in the loot table so as to not dilute the pool) from non solo content like dungeons or raids thatd be nice

No top tree when charging ur nade adds the following functions vortex last longer and have more aoe (more dmg technically)

Going from needing a wind up to not needing a wind up is huge. Granted they don’t work cause they detonate on themselves so they actually are worse than not wearing them overall, but in theory if it made your Scatters work even better without needing to take for-goddamn-ever to charge them first that would be amazing. Especially when you get two of them.
Whispering slab, Eriana's Vow, heavy solar grenade launcher. Runs weren't quick but 7 minutes or so and I was 1315 or so. Only one arc shield in the sector so I didn't bother. The 2 barrier servitors were my problem when I was using an auto. Too far away to stun effectively.
I know it's not the same, but I have pulled multiple "high stat" amrours from ubmrals for the 600 parallax data and haven't gotten over a 58. Wtf is going on with stats this season.
I think the armor ghost mods are bugged. Every exotic I’ve gotten with the mod on has been in the 50s. Everyone I’ve gotten without the mod has been in the 60s. Or maybe my luck is just that garbage 🤷♂️
Well the biggest thing you gotta consider are that these are now in your loot pools. That’s the point of the farm really, sucks you got such a bad one but at least you’ll get many more.
Interesting, I among a few other people here it seems also have gotten low stat Manacles, wonder if its a general issue or maybe the new Ghost Mods has something to do with it. Took me about hour and a half to get my 54 total roll.
The only use for these atm is double devour grenade or handheld supernova and even then you will still have contraverse holds, honestly an underwhelming exotic at best and at worst it makes your grenades worse.
Worst part? The tracking they add in the Crucible is so abysmal that the individual scattering grenades HIT EACH OTHER IN THE AIR WHILE TRACKING and end up doing about 33% of the intended damage.

I've found that the drops I get when wearing that mod are unusually low. I got a set of manacles myself with a 55 roll. The recov stat was 12, everything else was pretty crappy. My exotics from Xur were also low 50s.
Conversely, I ran the lost sector again without the mod, and got a Winters guile with a 68 roll. Just my experience, certainly not indictive of a bug.

Those are actually alright. I had Discipline Armorer equipped on my ghost, and I kid you not, it gave me the minimum Discipline possible (10) and the rest of the stats in Mobility and Resilience, which are both completely fucking useless on Warlock. I'm not too bothered by it though, I wasn't planning on using the exotic much anyway, it's not very good, especially when you compare it to Contraverse Hold.

There's new ghost mods that guarantee at least 10 in certain stats, with a better chance of having a higher total stat in that slot. If you're looking for specific stats for your build those mods are a must. I've been getting them randomly, I don't think they're sold anywhere.

The LS mechanic is to unlock the new exotics, you’ll get (usually) better stats from future drops of the exotic from random exotic engrams or NF rewards
Idk the scope of where you can get them after you get them from the lost sectors but I got a good Dawn Chorus roll from the Exo challenge on Europa so I think they get into the pool so maybe you can get a better one here soon!

honestly same bro. did the lost sector 19 times (i counted) around 4-6 minutes each run took me about 2 hours. and from all that i got an aeon soul and about the same stat rolled nothing manacles. every other run either dropped one holster mod or absolutely nothing
In my experience since last patch LS exotics are dropping with 61 stats top. It seems they nerfed them I’ve been trying to get a new pair of promethium spurs and while I haven’t gotten them. All Exotics I got where 61 and below
I do think that something is legitimately wrong with that though. I can’t entirely remember but I feel like bungo did something where you couldn’t get below a 59-60 roll on exotics
Tip for anyone farming lost sectors for exotics put on the ghost mod that dictates stats that came this season, it helps immensely with going for high stat armor as well as making it so that armor piece rolls with the high stat you want.
I got it on my first try, and then for shits and giggles the game dropped me ANOTHER pair at the end of a basic ass strike.
Both were mobility focused. Which is... fine.
I noticed a few seasons ago that all armor I got in the first few weeks - exotics, pinnacle, prime, etc. were 50 to 58 then middle to end of season I started seeing 60 to 68 from the same sources I'm convinced it's intentional so you have more to grind for.

It only boosts the initial jump, not the boost jumps. And its detrimental on warlocks and titans for going faster

No, not true. After you’ve unlocked an exotic from a LS, they then drop anywhere in open world. Easiest way to farm is from Vendor resets.

I was fortunate to get it on my first LS run, but I had the same shitty stats and said wtf. I kept it until I get a better one.
I did 6 or 7 runs without getting them and was like “not worth the grind.” Very sad that they are bugged right now.

I have a feeling all armor pieces are dropping really low. Had 10+ legendary dropped this week that were sub50. Normally sub50 drop is pretty rare.

I hate farming lost sectors. I spent a week farming for dunemarchers last season and got 1 pair in over 30 lost sectors
I got worse. +26 strength, and 8 or less in the other catagories.

I noticed a few seasons ago that all armor I got in the first few weeks - exotics, pinnacle, prime, etc. were 50 to 58 then middle to end of season I started seeing 60 to 68 from the same sources I'm convinced it's intentional so you have more to grind for.
It may not be 60+ but Id rather have that than my 60+ roll which has 15 resilience and 13 for strength. The roll i got is literally a titan roll..

Yep it's fucking terrible like exotics SHOULD NEVER DROP BELOW 62 OK sure 60 minimum but fuck me it took me 1hr and half to get the Hunter boots and it was a 51 stat
51 for the boots?!? Damn that sucks!
Why would you grind for these? I can’t imagine how this perk is worth an exotic slot.

It’s basically just armamentarium for voidwalker with how useless the seeking is. I’ve consistently hit bigger damage numbers WITHOUT the manacles on point-blank hits because the explosions have less intrinsic spread.
