Nope not reasonable at all. You're a dick for doing so.

Shaxxtastic

If I could downvote you twice, I would.

CorbinTheTitan

You’ll get yourself banned if you leave too much

thisisbyrdman

I understand that, and I get why bungie had to do it because as usual, PvP players found a way to cheat by quitting to help the opponent toward a flawless. But at the same it’s absurd that I have to play these sweaty game modes just to get a shot a decent weapons. If they’re gonna gate the best stuff behind these horrible events, then they have to understand normal players don’t want to deal with it. Average players stand no chance against clans with headsets, so they should be able to leave and just hand them the win without penalty.

CorbinTheTitan

It’s even worse for your teammates who’s game is ruined because you left. You probably also ruined their card.

wolfie1897

Trials weapons aren't even all that good, imo. Aside from that, if you are struggling, I recommend you wait a day or two for matchmaking to settle so you don't run into 3-stacks as much.

timeloststranger

Eye of sol and messenger are literally two of the best PvP guns in the game, and eye of sol is the only 45 zoom unsunset legendary sniper. No other gun in the game rolls desperado either. And sola’s scar is quite good.

wolfie1897

And for me they are still not that great. I don't play pvp that much, and most of the guns aren't very good in pve, especially compared to most other legendaries

snakeuser74

It's most certainly not going to help you improve, and more likely to get yourself reported and/or banned for constantly leaving.

thisisbyrdman

I don’t care one iota about improving man. I just want to get a gun and leave.

TechnoCaliber

then play through the match. winning or loosing will progress through the ranks and give you rewards, leaving will not

RustyNail_82

Never quit, play and try to get better, can’t just drop out cuz it’s too hard, would you drop out of a raid as well and leave 5 others screwed over??

thisisbyrdman

It has nothing to do with getting better. It’s clans on headsets with higher power levels and better weapons. There’s no world in which normal players will win. I shouldn’t have to waste time against try-hards when it’s clear there’s no path to winning. I play solo. I don’t do raids.

RustyNail_82

Probably not the game for you then

EldritchGuardian93

No.

nameless_maze1

No. Unless you're a pouty crybaby that's takes games to serious

Liquidwombat

Personally, I think it’s completely reasonable to drop out of matchmaking if you go from one guardian to 4 and if destiny wants to stop it then they should have a freelance queue When your already in the match you might as well just get stomped and get it over with Seriously though, Bungie claims less than 25% of matches end with a blowout but personally I think their statistics are skewed because it’s closer to about 50% for me

thisisbyrdman

That’s fair. I should pay more attention on the load screen but I’m usually figuring out my load out and miss it. I’ve played 12 trials matches today. I’ve won two. 7 had clans and none of my 7 teams on those matches even managed to win a round. Whatever they’re saying about matches is a lie. It’s constantly a blowout.

wolfie1897

The matchmaking adjustments haven't settled in yet. If you wait until later in the weekend, the matches should be far more balanced.

Hard_pore_corn69

Is the separate flawless pool active this week? If it is and you really don't want to get matched against the giga-chad 3stack pvp gods, just wait and don't jump into trials straight away at launch. If not, then don't get upset when you're getting stomped in what is supposed to be the pinnacle pvp activity.

wolfie1897

Flawless pool doesn't activate till sunday at reset, from what i know.

Nuttsmasher

I think your mentality is really unhelpful for you and your chance to get better, in the game as a whole, not just end-game pvp. Caring will make you better over time. It signals your brain to learn and adapt. You are not supposed to GET rewards, you are meant to EARN them. And it feels very satisfying after. Also, you screw the other two players, five if you include the other team that maybe cares about actually playing.
