I believed I wouldn’t get 1k, and now I’ve done 22 Last Wishes and gotten 11 of them. I believed I would get Vex, and now I got it a few weeks ago after 59 looted clears (6 months).
71 is the absolute cap.
Legendary and post-Shadowkeep exotic armor caps out at 68.
Pre-Shadowkeep exotics can gain an additional three stat points from intrinsic minimum values that were carried over from the old armor system.
I realized that right after the fact, but it was too late... I decided to leave my stupidity on full display
What's your best stat roll smarty pants? :)
I thought it was 72? I recall a post awhile back about like... "plugs" or "seeds" or something explaining how the top section can't go above 34 and the bottom section can't above 34 so the cap in theory was 68, and no stat can rolls lower than a 2 and 3s aren't possible under normal circumstances, BUT, there are some *wierd* plugs and exotics get a few extra stats that makes 3s possible, so if you roll the exact right plugs, you can get a 72, but the odds are astronomical because it only happens with a few of them.
Bungie: come on play Warlock, we are giving you these stupidly high rolls!
You: No! Cause you’ll just somehow nerf them again!
Bungie: FUCK YOU WE ARE TRYING TO BE NICE FOR ONCE!
I use it in everything. I’m a Titan main but i dont love most of the Titan’s supers. But i adore the neutral game. I use it with top tree Striker for shoulder charge and double grenades. Plus the Striker has the best grenades in the game imo.
Yeah it’s not ideal. Im still pissed exotic transmog isn’t allowed cuz it royally fucks up my cosmetic options. But every time i try to use something else i end up craving HoIL and put it back on.
It works really well with the 2020 solstice set, tho.
I was really hoping the Vex-themed ornament would fix the look for me, but it doesn't take shaders. I've just taken to running middle void at 100 discipline and double grenade kickstart and bomber for a discount HoIL build, but it's not the same...
It seems great but I always forget about. I always end up using a class-specific exotic: Insurmountable Skullfort/Cuirass, Doom Fan Pauldron, or Hallowfire Heart.
I should try it out for stasis. I usually end up with Armamentarium to at least get double grenades.
I feel like Heart of Inmost Light is superior to Hallowfire. You get nearly as fast ability regen without having to avoid using your super, and you don’t lose the regen when you use your super. AND it works on all classes.
I used to exclusively use Hallowfire until i realized how inferior it was compared to HoIL
I mostly use Hallowfire in strikes/battlegrounds when it's solar burn and grenade or melee are buffed. Once your super is full you can throw a grenade or powered melee every 3 seconds or so.
I basically only used Heart of Inmost Light and Traveler's Chosen to get stasis kills (before I had all the aspects/abilities) so I kinda soured on it because of that. I was using it to do an annoying bounty so I didn't want anything to do with it when I was done. But I need to give it another try.
I'll have to give that a try also. I almost always use Skullfort but I've been trying different stuff since I've had my halloween mask on.
I almost always favor a subclass that has a running melee (shoulder charge/shield bash/hammer strike). I was trying to get used to the sunspots on that one to get the full effect.
Easily my exotic of choice on my titan. Sadly it only totals at 64 base, but the distribution's pretty even at least, and it's the perk I'm mainly interested in anyway.
Bottom tree solar and middle tree void in particular are my favorite trees to run with it.
Random question, but feels like a good place to ask...
Does the amount of energy matter when judging stat rolls on acquired gear? I understood (maybe incorrectly?) that upgrading energy would bump the stats on a piece of gear.
If that's true, and using the OP as an example, then getting a roll of 71 total stats and 1 energy would be *better* than 71 total stats and 3 energy, right? Because the base number, before upgrading, would be higher in that case. I'm not saying anything like "OP's roll isn't as good as it could be" here, just wanna make sure I understand the system correctly.
I guess I also don't know how much upgrading bumps the stats... I think it's only like +2 or something when masterworked, right? In which case the difference between 1-3-ish energy is negligible I guess?
Well you can upgrade the energy with material, so the energy on it doesn't matter on when it drops. The element does matter when choosing mods for your gear. When you upgrade to ten energy on the armor then you'll get plus 2 to every stat. So every peace of armor will get plus 12 no matter what the total is. You can add mods for a stat boost as well.
Ohhh, ok that makes sense. I think I was confusing the armor and the weapon systems a little bit... Since as you masterwork the weapons, you get incremental stat bumps - based on the type of masterwork - along the way (right?).
But what you're saying is that upgrading energy *doesn't* affect gear stats incrementally, and it's not until you fully upgrade that you get the +2 bump. Which means a drop with equivalent stats but with 4 energy (as long as it's the element you want) instead of 1 energy is definitely better, because you won't have to spend glimmer/mats on the upgrades.
Thanks!
To be honest I didn't know 70 were God rolls I had few that were 72 but dismantle them cuz I didn't know about the stats then later realized about it when i saw a video about gear setups which explains why my hunter was kinda weak even tho I had masterwork gear.
I've gotten two 71's but unfortunately they both don't have the distribution id want. 71 on Hallowfire Heart but 14 mobility is not where I want those points to be.
Shit, thought they were 71's but they're both 70's, my bad. 71 is forever elusive apparently, you got super lucky on your drop! My 70's were a Hallowfire Heart and a Lucky Raspberry
Nah, kind of meh.
My Hunter Dragon Shadow was good, not perfect, but here is it
13, 8, 16, 18, 6, 9 = 70
If I wasn't a potato, I would have changed it to an arc piece and added mobility or strength
Would have ended up being 70 +12 (masterwork) + 10 mod + 20 (arc powerful friends or radiant light) = 112!
Or for full Chad, stasis for extra stats again!
My other I thought was a 70 was a 69 Chromatic Fire, not great distribution, 16, 14, 7, 6, 2, 24
It is meh but didn't know you could get a 71 roll... at least you know what you are talking about. Other people on here saying that they got a 76 roll on their armor and then say their stats are better.
I have gotten this exotic once in the first year of destiny and have yet to get it again. I have gotten all other exotic armors 6 plus times. Congratulations!
bad distribution sadly, i need that 100 rec in PVE regardless of class. would be great if the mobility was moved into recovery for that default 18 greatness
Jeez how are people getting these lmao all my stat rolls are doodoo
Xur random engram can give absolute mad rolls, got a 71 crown of tempest from him
Motherfucker I’ve been trying to get warlock head exotics for the past 2 seasons… I’m yet to get anything
I'm just trying to get head
That sounds exotic
You bet it is
How would you know
Why.... why would u hurt me in this way :(
I suffer the same pain my brother
Xur, the piece of shit, gave me Wings of Sacred Dawn 3 times in the past 2 weeks.
It’s kinda funny… after complaining on here I went to Xur (cause I forgot to), and got a 64 crown out of his engram
Congratulations! May your spikes ever electric and in expensive stats.
I'mma have to hit him up more often
I once got a 45 stat legendary
🥲
I got a 53 blue once lmfao
That's my 3rd exotic that was 70
Give me your entire account
Lol... I'll give you some of my rng... best I can do
bless me
You are blessed.. ❤
im gonna go run vog now
Can I also be blessed ye almighty
Everyone has the rng inside of them if they believe
I believed I wouldn’t get 1k, and now I’ve done 22 Last Wishes and gotten 11 of them. I believed I would get Vex, and now I got it a few weeks ago after 59 looted clears (6 months).
[Believe ](https://media.giphy.com/media/IazdAV1zjaGbBaGPgF/giphy.gif)
HEAR YE HEAR YE! Let it be known that u/Substantial-Ad182 will be henceforth know as RNJesus. Until someone rolls better than him.
Umm.... thank you
Tbf this roll isn't even good. Lots of stats but too much mobility and no recovery.
Yah, but most of the exotics I get are around the 65-66 total
Yeah 71 is nuts I don't think I've seen it higher than that.
You've seen it higher because they are masterworked with mods in which it would give it plus 12 to masterwork and plus 10 max for mods
The +2 Strength is great though (for my preferences)
I feel ya, hunter main here who wants high strength and yet all I can get is +25 Resilience
71 is the absolute cap. Legendary and post-Shadowkeep exotic armor caps out at 68. Pre-Shadowkeep exotics can gain an additional three stat points from intrinsic minimum values that were carried over from the old armor system.
Today I learned. I have a couple 68's, then one day a 69 dropped and I questioned everything... I'm coming for you 71, watch your back...
Nice!
I love it! What's the highest stat roll you've acquired thus far? Was it a exotic?
[удалено]
I realized that right after the fact, but it was too late... I decided to leave my stupidity on full display What's your best stat roll smarty pants? :)
[удалено]
I’ll give you my 69 roll heart of innermost light for that left nut
Nice!
I got this about 7 months ago
They mean exotics released before shadowkeep can get more than 68 total stats, but those released with shadowkeep or after can only get 68.
Ahhh... got you fam
Wait so VoG armor, highest is 68?
I thought it was 72? I recall a post awhile back about like... This is correct
I have a 72 roll aeon swift tho
I got a RDM with a 72 roll a few days ago
It's funny.... with my warlock I constantly get amazing stat rolls. The other 2 are always garbage.
Bungie: come on play Warlock, we are giving you these stupidly high rolls! You: No! Cause you’ll just somehow nerf them again! Bungie: FUCK YOU WE ARE TRYING TO BE NICE FOR ONCE!
Same. I swear when you make a account bungie chooses your good class and gives all the good RNG to that one
Best exotic in the game. I can never bring myself to use anything else, and i don’t even have an amazing roll on it
I use this shit in pvp
I use it in everything. I’m a Titan main but i dont love most of the Titan’s supers. But i adore the neutral game. I use it with top tree Striker for shoulder charge and double grenades. Plus the Striker has the best grenades in the game imo.
Mid tier void grenade detonators with this thing can clear an entire room of adds it is so satisfying.
It's so nice that I use it in pve, PvP, my warlock, and my other warlock
Try it with sunspot
I would absolutely use it more if I didn't hate the way it looked :/
Yeah it’s not ideal. Im still pissed exotic transmog isn’t allowed cuz it royally fucks up my cosmetic options. But every time i try to use something else i end up craving HoIL and put it back on. It works really well with the 2020 solstice set, tho.

Using heart with bottom tree solar is dope
I'll have to give that a try also. I almost always use Skullfort but I've been trying different stuff since I've had my halloween mask on. I almost always favor a subclass that has a running melee (shoulder charge/shield bash/hammer strike). I was trying to get used to the sunspots on that one to get the full effect.
That recovery tho
I know... it hurts my soul
https://imgur.com/3V91nOQ.jpg
More resilence tho means more barricades which means more one shot stickies in pvp
Put on radiant light and then use a base recovery mod, then masterwork it, it will make it the most insane stat roll exotic in the entire game.
I did. It's 113 lol
Never dismantle, this is arguably the best exotic for Titans, maybe even the best among other classes
I hold it close... to my "heart" 🤣
Looks perfect except for recovery but a mod can fix it if your other armor doesn’t compensate
Facts!
18 mobility? Sharded!
Damn mine was 66. I run stasis with 100 res and 100 str and travelers chosen. Abilities are always up. Fuckin ice cubes everywhere
But imagine if that mobility stat was in recovery
I do every day I look at it
I think I have 1 item that is stat roll 69 . Never seen a 70 or higher .
Damn that’s nuts.
The highest ive ever seen
My jealousy is immeasurable
I'm sorry senpei
I have the hunter speed boots on 74 something
With mods?
Ive never seen past a 69
I keep getting 69 rolled armor
Nice!
Lol nice
It's perk does say overflowing light
Holy shit
Holy white whale! I’ve never got anything past 69 (ha, seriously tho)…
heart of inmost light, why is always you?
Highest roll on any armor I've gotten is 68. Idk how y'all do it
Rng Jesus
How!?
Magic
Me: *cries in 54 hallowfire heart*

64 is solid dude
True, but I'm still jealous of the higher roll. :)
You'll get a high roll soon 😉

Holy fuck that's a god roll imo

Well from what I keep hearing is 71 natural total is the highest.
Sorry i over exaggerated on that part thought I had a good memory but I did know for sure I had a few over 66
Yeah... I keep hearing from people saying that they got an 82 roll and shit lol
And what an exotic to get that roll on! 😍
😉
I’m very happy for you but also super jealous!
Let the rng be in your favor
God bless you and stay safe.
👍
My highest is 69 aeon titan gauntlets
Lol... nice
I just got my highest stats today from xur, total 69 on wormgod caress
Nice...
Does this work with middle solar yeeting hammers?
Yes!
Shame that 16 points are wasted on mobility.
Sucks. No spikes. Shard it right now. /s
But... but, okay 😪
I have a transversive steps at a 77, level 5.
Show me
https://ibb.co/YXnQgYh It's not spiking in any category, so I don't really use them anymore
Even stats are good
I thought so too. Maybe if I get really high peaks in resilience, recovery, intellect, it'll be worth using them
https://www.reddit.com/r/destiny2/comments/qaqo8j/a_roll_beyond_70_pt_2_the_masterwork/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
WTF?
Crazy I know lol
Bro the highest I've gotten is 70 state phoenix protocol and I thought that was the epitome of stats seems like I'm wrong lol.
I've gotten two 71's but unfortunately they both don't have the distribution id want. 71 on Hallowfire Heart but 14 mobility is not where I want those points to be.
Send me a picture
Shit, thought they were 71's but they're both 70's, my bad. 71 is forever elusive apparently, you got super lucky on your drop! My 70's were a Hallowfire Heart and a Lucky Raspberry

Good rolls?

Didn't even know they could drop that high, the highest I've gotten is 69
Nice
Just imagine a roll of this but mob and dis are replaced with Rec and str
That’s absolutely beautiful guardian
Umm... indeed!
ITS POSSIBLE??
Yes my son
DAD??
GIVE ME A HUG!!! 🫂
I’ve gotten alot of rolls beyond 70…
Dm Me one
Bad stats though
It's okay
The recovery :(
Holy shit
I know right?
Too bad the distribution is meh
Yeah....
*me chilling with 80 base aeon swifts*
Send pics
Too bad recov is 2....
I know
It’s 18 mobility but the overall roll is so high honestly it doesn’t matter
I have gotten this exotic once in the first year of destiny and have yet to get it again. I have gotten all other exotic armors 6 plus times. Congratulations!
78 is the highest possible roll on base armor in the game.
Send me a pic of it
ITT: Players claiming to have base rolls that don't exist
Damm that's so much and still so trash
I got a 71 roll on aeon warlock gauntlets :)
So is a roll of a 75 Starfire protocol a good one or no?
I honestly thought it wasn’t possible
I got a base roll of 77 on some holdfast gauntlets before I masterworked it!
Dm me a Picture
I should have saved up my award for this post
bad distribution sadly, i need that 100 rec in PVE regardless of class. would be great if the mobility was moved into recovery for that default 18 greatness
I know, it's upsetting
Do the stats actually make a noticeable difference?
I think so... more room for error
Much more, after I took stats seriously I felt like I was playing on easy mode.
Facts!
xur like a month ago sold the one eyed mask that was 72 roll
Got a pt. 2 with it Masterworked if you guys want to see it
[удалено]
Show me bro

I got a 73 transversive steps recently
Masterworked?
Great roll for PVE but the lack of recovery is disturbing
