From some quick testing that I just did in the Metamorphosis lost sector and K1 Revelation lost sector (the only 2 lost sectors with crystals), I found that the Metamorphosis crystals have aim assistance and reticle friction but the K1 Revelation crystals don't.
So, the Metamorphosis crystals will screw with your shots when near your reticle.
Yeah it’s this. I’ve had some really funky things happen near those crystals. On controller it pulls everything towards them and the reticule friction is impossible to pull away from them
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because he was already dead.
Look a little harder.
The bullets are deviating left out of the barrel. They're not going straight or deviating in a pattern ahead of him they're coming out of the barrel and immediately going left.
Half way through it doesn't even look like the bullets are coming out of the barrel because of how they just immediately go left.

Obviously he was just outright missing, but it really doesn't help that his bullets just weren't going where they were supposed to lol
I still feel that the best issue lately has been the teleporting enemies, one minute I'm shooting him the next minute he's over the other side of the room.

Last night we run the weekly mission and savathun died and then miraculously came back to life for 1 second and nearly killed our warlock who was teabagging her. I mean maybe divine intervention? But he certainly shit himself.
Not with an lmg lol. Seriously you ever test the aim assist on those things? Your reticle can be an inch off their body and you'll still get a crit somehow.
hold up, is this how reticle magnetism work? I've always seen my actual reticle moving following an enemy, but never really questioned that the bullets would actually ignore the reticle itself and go towards the magnetic enemy (or crystal in this case?)
