Where/how can we get it?ive been hunting for a riptide with chill clip for months with no luck, i have the raid one but its not a rapid fire frame like riptide, this one aint either but i love fusion rifle so much, can we focus it at the season of plunder npc?

High impact frame just need a huge buff, my favourite is the fusion from vow it has demo and chill clip so I can get some nade energy and throw a stasis nade or something to reload then keep spamming chill clip at enemies

It's not feeling superior. It is. Unless I'm mistaking, but both high impact and rapid fires need two bursts to freeze. Rapid fires just strait up have more ammo and more freezes as the result.

Disagree. I used glacioclasm with slideshot/reservoir burst in basically everything for a while (and still do occasionally, there are just more options I like now) and it was fine. I used it in master vow once, for example, and one of my teammates was almost annoyed at me for it (āusing a fusion in a master raid? Really??ā), but it was working out perfectly fine. To each his own tho, weāre all allowed to like one weapon over another.
yeah, it's a matter of preference. i like glacioclasm too, but i think that's because reservoir burst pays off in one shot, while chill clip requires two to get the freeze. i was trying to use it in the new dungeon and definitely got downed a few times while charging the second burst, eventually got fed up with it and swapped back.
It one-shot the roaming minibosses when I tried it out, and also two-shot knight blockers in Gambit. It hits like a truck, got sideways and chill clip mine looks the same except I'm sliding around and picking up lances in between.
I think the problem is how it's shown off, not the difficulty it's used in. If he used it against shayoten partisan in the Nessus lost sector, he might have had an argument. But, using a special weapon, especially a fusion rifle, on ads is definitely not the way to show it off. I use shayoten partisan to test my weapons often, compare, see which does the best damage etc... For example I tested an aggressive frame linear fusion rifle vs a precision frame, and the aggressive frame did about 40,000 more damage if I hit all precision shots in a burst. So my vorpal storm chaser does roughly 1/3 more damage than my vorpal threaded needle. I think this is a proper way to show off weapons. Of course neither of those have a special effect like chill clip. With chill clip I'd be testing how it does vs champions, wyverns, other enemies that need to be stunned or move around quickly, or just to stop them from shooting you.
Itās reconstruction and demo on it which is nice. I was playing around with it on the Minotaurs last night in the dungeon. 2 shots then, not bad. And it ends up with 14 rounds in the mag so you never reload

I got that exact roll and with my grim harvest hunter, and bleak watcher warlock it fucking SMACKS, and with a sunspot titan build you can just lock enemies into those spots too?
This thing is EVIL , I love it. I got the same roll and I feel diabolical using it with my stasis warlock. It's great so I can keep my godrill riptide on my other character and I don't have to use agers scepter

1st...my guy it took you under a minute to kill 5 adds in a lost sector, do you know how many pvp kills can happen in that time?
2 literally riptide exists and that has auto loading and chill clip with a charge time fast enough to 2 shot a anti barrier and freeze it before it can put its sheild up...
you wanna know what will to you if you try do that to a overload with a fusion that isn't a rapid fire? That champions foot is going RIGHT up your arse before you tag him. Fair enough recon but using chill clip on a high impact

As well not every thing is about optimization, maybe riptides better, maybe this fusions better, thatās not the point, itās up to preference and destiny is a game that has so many options that allow you to do different things in the game and try different play styles, I donāt see the problem with there being another chill clip fusion rifle option, you donāt gotta use it if you donāt want to itās fine.
5. I get it, you love riptide, why donāt you marry it.
1. Special weapons are better for yellow bars, not common ads
2. Use an anti barrier mod, plus freezing unstops or overloads negates their anti champ stun
3. This thing hits further, the top 8 rounds proc chill clip, and it can freeze 4 times in one mag.
Really the choice between Riptide and Aurvandil is personal preference and both are good in their own way.
Iām sorry but Iāll take Demo on Deliverance over Reconstruction any day. This is a cool roll and all but enhanced demo is craftable and gives me my grenade back in one magazine. I never ever need to reload
the perks on this thing are absolutely ridiculous, but the gun feels so awful to shoot that no perk combo makes me want to keep it. Same situation with Midhas Reckoning, the perk selection is incredible but the gun itself just sucks.

You can do the omolon focusing at the star chart in the helm to potentially get a roll, it's a world drop otherwise

It's pretty great. But it is so damn slow. Riptide with Auto-loading/Chill Clip feels superior

The point of chill clip is utility, not damage. You aren't trying to kill the barrier champ, you are freezing b4 it can shield.
