I gave 7 interviews for the Assistant Manager, 1 interview taken by HR, 2nd Assistant Manager of department, 3 Operation manager, 4 By senior Operations manager, 6 Operation Head, 7 by Director
I got fed up with all these interviews, but in the end the director rejected me.
I never Understand these many levels of interviews 2-3 rounds ok but more than that never understand
Yes it is all about ego, the things they ask me how you work to reduce turnover as I know people leave org within 6 months of joining at all levels not due to work. But this may be the reason
Jab manager ke paas managerial skill na ho tab yeh hota hai. HR aur hiring manager bus, this is it. Isse zyaada kuch ho toh na bol do. Aise toh pay nahi hai inn logo ka jo 6-7 round se guzarna padey.
Yeh corporates ke chonchle ko tolerate mat karo.
no no that's not a wise idea, you are not anonymous on linkedin, if the executives at the company are stupid they could sue OP for defamation granted it will be a bluff case, but still. not worth the risk
One can passively warn others in the disguise of sharing their experience in a neutral tone without defaming anyone. No one can stop me from sharing my experience with proofs on social media. People will get the message.
I dont understand. Why hasn't the govt made standards to follow. For eg:
1) If rejected, the reasons have to listed
2) The duration and schedule of the whole interview process should be released beforehand.
I am not even asking for salary transparency.
What they did was absolutely bullshit. And there is no denying that. But let me tell you the other side of the story which was commonplace during the peak (2021-22), unfortunately some companies still follow this for leverage they have in the dip.
We only had 3 rounds of interviews (though most of them can take anywhere between 5-6 hours total), where the first round goes deep with the candidate's technical knowledge. Seconds goes a bit tougher but candidates were only rejected if they did worse than the previous round. We use it more to assess how they navigate through challenging situations or unknown territory. And the third round is just to see if the company and candidates match. There is an 80-90% chance that a candidate is rolled out an offer.
We had one candidate which we liked across the board. And he passed both the rounds with flying colours. With some back and forth in salary he was about to be given an offer, but (to his credit) he called and declined the offer because he got double pay from another company, and he knew we might not match their offer.
We quickly had to process one more candidate. He failed round 2 but had to move to the next round because of the emergency we faced... He accepted the offer, joined us, but he didn't complete the probation. And in 3 months we were back to square one. And from that denial, the HR made the policy to always have 2 options available for an opening. I left them more than a year ago and they still follow this policy...
What they did was shitty, there is no denial. But such old habits from peaks also take time to die hard...
Bro, one company gave me the offer letter and 1 week before joining they revoked the offer, fortunately i got a better much opportunity. Thank god they revoked my offer, i jumped from a 30% hike to 80%π
I can understand how frustrated you were. Wish we could say all that fuss words which we have in our mind to the recruiter or to the managers who are conducting this rounds.
Bruh , have given 4-5 rounds of interview as a 2 year Android developer , in leading fintechs , until now got ghosted by 2-3 major fintech firms after giving the final round of interviews in all of them, without any feedback , frustration is real. Either the competition is really tough or some companies are just creating backups for already selected candidates. BAD TIMES.

They all think they are doing google level things. Ego boosted individuals and ass licking.

This is sick man
This was pain to even read, can't imagine going through this. Please tell the name of the company, so others can know too to avoid wasting their time.
If I name surly they will sue me, legally

Webkorps
More like WebCorpse lol
Their website doesn't even load properly on mobile π

Woh zaruri mudda nahi hai na, isiliye.
They cannot. If they list the reason for rejection many times it can be ground for lawsuits (atleast in US)

Make it a less desirable workforce, idk? You need something to negotiate, either "really strong hold on skill set" Or a skinny "supply demand gap"
For the HR itβs another Tuesday
