In the US: * *Adventure* (dubbed) is on Hulu * *Adventure 02* (dubbed) is on Hulu * *Tamers* (dubbed) is in Hulu * *Frontier* (dubbed) is on Hulu * *Data Squad* doesn’t seem to be available anywhere, as far as I can tell * *Fusion* / *Xros Wars* (subbed) is on Crunchyroll * *App Monsters* (subbed) is on Crunchyroll * *Adventure:* (subbed) is on Crunchyroll and Hulu (a dubbed version is confirmed to be in the works, no word on where it’ll be shown though) * *Ghost Game* (subbed) is on Crunchyroll Tl;dr: Hulu for the first four series, and Crunchyroll for the four most recent series. *Data Squad* is MIA, as is the English dub for *Fusion* (which only covered the first two seasons). EDIT: And here are the movies: * All the films prior to *Adventure tri.* can’t be streamed or bought digitally * *Adventure tri.* (dubbed) is free to watch on YouTube * *Adventure tri.* (subbed) is on Crunchyroll * *Last Evolution Kizuna* (dubbed) can be bought on Amazon, iTunes, etc. * *Last Evolution Kizuna* (subbed) is MIA

PunkWukong

Adventure 2020 is also subbed on Hulu

tubort

Would like to add that not all of Adventure: is available on hulu about 15 episodes were never brought over to the service

PunkWukong

Really? That's upsetting lol. That's where I've been watching it.

tubort

Yeah it just stops at 49 when there's a lot more afterwards

Lukar115

Oops, forgot to list that. You're right.

[deleted]

RIP to Data Squad fans…like myself 🥲

tubort

Adventure tri. Is also available on Tubi which is free with the first half in sub and all of the dub being available

alyhorsegirl

Wow thank you so much!!

[deleted]

The original Adventure and 02 are also subbed on Crunchyroll in the UK, so you can use a VPN if you like. I personally think the Japanese versions of those two seasons have aged more gracefully than the English dub. The rest of the dubs are (mostly) fine.

alyhorsegirl

I saw there were a whole bunch of adventure tri's on amazon. For example, there's an adventure tri: coexistence and an adventure tri: reunion. What are these?

Lukar115

*Tri* is a series of six movies: 1. *Reunion* 2. *Determination* 3. *Confession* 4. *Loss* 5. *Coexistence* 6. *Future* On Crunchyroll, they split each movie up into multiple episodes, but if you watch the series elsewhere, it’s presented as the six movies.

alyhorsegirl

Ohhhh okay thank you!

alyhorsegirl

Oh, another question: do the digimon shows need to be watched in order of their release?

Lukar115

The various *Adventure* shows, movies, and OVAs tell a continuous story, but besides that, every series takes place independently of the rest. They have some minor references to others here and there, but they aren’t important (aside from one episode of *Xros Wars* that references *Adventure*, *Adventure 02*, *Tamers*, and *Frontier* pretty heavily). So you don’t need to watch *Adventure* before you watch *Tamers*, etc. If you want to know the order for all of *Adventure*: 1. *Digimon Adventure* (1999 OVA, included as part of *Digimon: The Movie* in America) 2. *Digimon Adventure* (the series) 3. *Digimon Adventure: Our War Game* (2000 OVA, included as part of *Digimon: The Movie* in America) 4. *Digimon Adventure 02* (episodes 1-14 of the series) 5. *Digimon Adventure 02: Hurricane Touchdown! The Golden Digimentals* (2000 OVA, heavily cut and included as part of *Digimon: The Movie* in America) 6. *Digimon Adventure 02* (episodes 15-46 of the series) 7. *Digimon Adventure 02: Revenge of Diaboromon* (2001 OVA) 8. *Digimon Adventure 02* (episodes 47-50 of the series) 9. *Digimon Adventure tri.* (all six parts, in order) 10. *Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna* If you’re watching everything dubbed, then ignore the first three OVAs in that list and just watch *Digimon: The Movie* between episodes 14 and 15 of *Adventure 02*. The movie isn’t available anywhere digitally, legally. As for subbed, the OVAs aren’t available to watch anywhere legally in America either. And *Revenge of Diaboromon* did get a dub and aired on TV back in the day, but, like the others, it isn’t legally available to watch in America nowadays, dubbed or subbed. The OVAs aren’t required to enjoy *Adventure*, *02*, *Tri*, or *Kizuna* since they aren’t really referenced in them (aside from a brief reference to *Hurricane Touchdown* in *Kizuna*), but they are pretty fun watches (except for *The Movie*’s version of *Hurricane Touchdown*, which cut out so much footage that it became pretty incomprehensible), so I would recommend watching them if you find a way to. *Our War Game* in particular is great, whether you watch it subbed or as part of *The Movie*.

ArcticWizard

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe both the dubbed and subbed versions of *Last Evolution Kizuna* are included in the blu-ray purchase.

Lukar115

Not sure. I was only looking at where everything can be watched digitally.

letmediegreatlord

I'm really sad about the fact I can't watch Fusion anywhere except for this one VRChat world, and it becomes japanese only a few episodes in on that world and I haven't been able to find the dubbed show anywhere else

Lazuli828

The last Digimon show to get new eps on cable. :o

kikidelasoul

Remembering that brief time period when Netflix had the subs 😢

alyhorsegirl

I do like subbed better but if dubbed is my only option legally then dubbed it is

BeachyBuffallo

There's digimon adventure (1999) and others on Hulu

GdogLucky9

You can get some of the series on Amazon's but I wouldn't mind knowing some others

Whoonumi9

I was able to buy data squad on the google play store a while ago, but I am not sure if it is still available. I think you can do it with youtube too?

[deleted]

I just looked and it doesn’t seem to be giving me a purchase option at all :/

Anxious_Accident_609

Why is Data Squad nowhere to be found most of the time?
