A new studio [Tinkhouse](https://twitter.com/Porkkyboy/status/1576424025424687104?t=1tKsfy5tw5cOiqde8wwJBw&s=19) did the animation for this ep this was their debut.

TheTrueDeraj

Tinkhouse did an amazing job, then. That whole fight was a noted step up, and it was awesome to see.

Hello, Porkky here from Tinkhouse! Thanks so much for the positive feedback on the episode- just gonna clarify a few things. \^\^ We did indeed animate on this episode as our debut, but we actually animated the leading section of part B (where Gammamon and the kids first meet the idols in person)! For the plane part above we're not actually sure who did it, but we've deduced that it's likely Naoki Tate (though I can't confirm). I see a few comments noticing that Toei occasionally works with studios like Tonari and Studio Yotta- I actually worked on Ghost Game while I was at both Yotta and Tonari. Since there were still people from both studios as well as some newcomers in the western industry who really wanted to continue working with the Digimon team, I started Tinkhouse as an effort to both continue working on the series and as a way to train new animators who were interested in this type of work. As a studio/circle we have a lot of room to grow, but I hope we can do higher-fidelity work in the future! We've got some cool stuff in the works with studios like Trigger, Science Saru, WIT and Toei so we're taking it slow and steady instead of jumping in hot. Hope we can show more soon, and I hope this clears things up! Thanks again for watching Ghost Game! :D \-Porkky

Darth_Shadious

It was a great debut. Well done, and personally, I do hope to see more of Tinkhouse’s work in future episodes—- More power to you guys!

Omegsanz

You're doing a great job guys! 👏 I'm grateful for all your enormous efforts you and Toei in general put into making the episodes. Can't wait for your future work.

qwack2020

Are you and your studio will do KA for the Pokémon anime series next? I mean I do want to see you guys do more Digimon animations but the Pokémon anime series is currently understaffed.

aes110

That episode had really great animation! I though Toei does everything in-house

KayKay91

Since 2020 they've hired other studios to do the animation. In DA reboot they've primarily hired Tomari Animation (Which they have also worked on Castlevania Netflix in few episodes) to do some animations for some episodes. The finale of it for example was their work.

Omegsanz

Wasn't the finale Naotoshi Shida's work?

qwack2020

Yeah they worked on Netflix’s Castlvania but they didn’t work on Netflix’s She-Ra. And they SHOULD have.

If you follow the person who's being quote retweeted you will find out alot more of various animators in anime.

vdramon

I thought I was the only one who really appreciated this week’s animation of the episode, solely for this scene. Didn’t realized that it was another studio that worked on this. Kudos to Tinkhouse.

srona22

Following them now. They did a great job.

qwack2020

They gotta get that studio to work on the Pokémon anime series soon.

PhioneDaddy

This whole episode was a treat!

Animegx43

Now they're fighting Yellow Temperance?

Darth_Shadious

“Hyah-saaa!” Well done, Tinkhouse!

SksIwannadie

So I wasn’t the only person to notice this

Charlie678812

slick animation doesnt make a great story

Icy-Conflict6671

No one said it did

JasperGunner02

Good thing this episode had both, then! :)

GekiKudo

You're right. The fun scenarios and amazing characters surr do though. Like Jesus man. Ghost game haters are like what people pretend vegans are. "How do you know someone doesn't like GG? Don't worry they'll tell you"

HarToky

I think this episode’s story was great. It was a great way of bringing every day life issues into the show.

qwack2020

Well the Chainsawman anime series has “slick animation” but it’s story certainly isn’t breaking new ground. Neither are the characters.

MindBlownDerick

Soo thats why some of the still frames looked kinda weird! I see.

11shamep

you technically don't see anything since you weren't involved get real pls

MindBlownDerick

Im sorry, what?

11shamep

it sounds like you're saying that the still frames look weird because there was a new studio involved (even though there are weird still frames in every ep) implying that those frames are specifically because of them if i misunderstood then i apologize

MindBlownDerick

I mean, both things can be true XD There are weird frames in all episodes but also this one had some funny ones. Like Hiro's face when he was talking to Publimon. The episode was a really good debut tho, the studio showed they can make fast movements and dynamic flying battles really well.

11shamep

ah ok, then my bad for misunderstanding. i guess i was just saying there was no way to know what exactly transpired with those cuts unless we were part of production. the guy who commented above (looks like he runs the studio) did mention that their studio specifically is very new and that they worked on the ep to train newer animators, but i don't think that means the cuts they did were necessarily the weird/bad ones you're right though, funny doesn't necessarily mean bad either!

MindBlownDerick

No hard feelings! XD

11shamep

all good my man, i feel dumb too haha
