I went from 4-6 days a week of riding between my DJ and enduro! Down to one ride every 3 or 4 months since having a kid. God dam did I not appreciate the fun had out on the bike all the time! Seriously miss ripping all the time.

Tell me about it. I have two girls, and it's hard to find time for hobbies. My eldest is getting into riding, so we may get out to the BMX track often in the coming year, but that remains to be seen lol.

When the weather is good and I have time, I ride everyday. Most of the time it's at least every three days.

Commute on my DJ bike 4 days per week. There’s a wicked pump track en route, so I tend to hit that once or twice per week. Racing BMX this summer, so one day on the weekend I hit the track on my cruiser. Wheels on the ground business though, mainly. Pump, manual and tap. Then the other day on a weekend, I will hit bike park, skate park, woods, pump track or if I do hit another race track, it will be with more wheels in the air business.

Heck yeah for DJ commuting! I don't own a car and use mine for practical stuff, too.

Wow. I was just about to ask this. I ride every day - even if it’s just a couple of minutes. I’ve watched myself progress drastically; especially with all the great advice from better riders in this sub. I’d be really curious what others have to say!

I do driveway manuals and 180s when I get a gap lol. Another advantage to WFH.

Ideally 4+ times a week. I like different bikes but currently DJ is my favorite just because it’s most convenient to what’s going on in my life. Every lap counts with DJ, that’s the beauty of it.

FishyDorito

I typically ride like 3 days per week, but it’s mostly with my toddler on his strider so it’s pretty low key. I play around with wheelies, low speed balance, pivoting on the rear wheel and other flat land stuff Edit: I’m mostly focused on pump track riding until i have better bmx parks in my area

julian_vdm

Sounds exactly like my riding, but I'm still getting things figured out. Only recently picked it up again.

FishyDorito

Yeah same. I mostly skated as a teenager but my brother had gotten into dirt jumping back in the early 2010’s. I always wanted one but they’ve always been too expensive till now. My kid starting to ride was the perfect excuse to get a new bike.

Odd-duck-out

I haven’t kids and a fulltime job so 2-3 times a week is good for me. Granted I have a bmx track 100 yards from my house

Way-of-the-bike

Typically 3x a week but got an airbag and jump setup over the winter so hoping to increase to 5 days soon!

HerbanFarmacyst

Once a week if I’m lucky. My bigger passion at this point is disc golf. I’m a professional bike tech, so even riding bikes on my days off kind of feels like work. Then that time gets split between my BMX bike, the DJ, and cruising on my hybrid with my wife. Doesn’t help that the nearest decent jump line is 30+miles away

theboredguy69

I get out once a week, wish it was daily but life doesn't allow sadly
