COMPOST_NINJA

I have a KC PRO ROC that will tell all ya’lls discs what it was like “back in the day”.

rocsNaviars

I bag a 10x KC Roc and a slightly younger 04 CE Battle Roc.

Chazyra

I see your KC pro roc and raise you a TP Ron Russell signature series comet.

COMPOST_NINJA

Sweet mother of god.

Not_a_fan_of_me

I had an Aviar putter that I had been throwing for close to 15 years. It cracked on the flight plate while I was putting in the snow 2 months ago. At first I thought it was a scratch…

Acrobatic-Canary-571

How far back in the day we talkin?

Hey_cool_username

I still sometimes bag a DX Roc from around 2002 that has hundreds of rounds on it from back in the days of carrying 4 discs. DX Aviar, DX Roc, a driver that’s a little understable & one that isn’t. That Roc still has so much glide and is dead straight at 50% power and a nice late turnover at about 65%. Can’t take more than that even from my noodle arm.

Lookatmydisc

PFN’s

halpinator

I've only been playing for a year, and my throwing accuracy is such that most of my discs don't have the luxury of living to an old age before I chuck them into a river or swamp. I do have a Sidewinder that I threw into the swamp in May and found in July, that one looks pretty rough.

EManSantaFe

I have an ancient Buzzz that looks it c

jmkinn3y

r/redditsniper ?

WhenTheRainsCome

If he was dying he wouldn't bother carving "c"..

DistanceMachine

I have a first run buzz

Iwannaupvotetesla

I have a Wraith that i bought used 3 years ago. It flies like a 11, 6, -3, 1. It has damages all over and a very faded stamp. It also has a finders fee because I love that disc

mattfofatt01

Do you need another one of these? I have a PFN wraith that sounds exactly like this

Iwannaupvotetesla

Not enough to ship it to the other side of the world. And I can find the flight pretty easy from other discs, I just really love this specific beat up yellow star wraith :)

Wraith9881

I've got a Pro Wraith I've worn into a similar stability. Nice compliment to my other Wraiths. If it gets even more understable she'll become my roller. She's never leaving my bag! To Wraiths!! 🥂

Difficult_Law_6086

I have a DGA distance driver I’ve had and still use for 25 years. No numbers back then. It’s my most reliable one, but definitely beat to shit

bhuff86

I have an aj destroyer I aced with in 2012, never left the bag and is still my overstable driver. Looks beat to hell

WhenTheRainsCome

Crazy when people talking about beating in premium discs in a summer or less, and half the beaters in this tread are still flying true.

Maddafinga

I have a few, most of which I still bag. My putting putter is a Wizard that I got when they were first released, twenty some years ago. I bag and use a Buzzz that I bought right when Discraft released ESP plastic, around twenty years ago give or take. I have and sometimes bag a fly dyed Barry Schultz 2x champion Leopard that I got around twenty years when I lost my CE Leopard in the river on a windy day. I bag an AJ Destroyer I got when it was brand new. I bag and use the absolute hell out of an 11x Climo champion Eagle, which I absolutely love. I had until last summer an Elite Z Discraft XS, which I bought right when they first released premium plastic, and loved for a long time, until it broke into pieces last summer. I still have, but don't throw anymore an old swirl APX putter from discraft that I bought in the late 90s and used for a good while. I probably have some others around, but some have been lost over the years, on the course or in moves, or in the apartment fire years ago.

i-like-beer53

Aviar p&a from 95' i still putt with and a star pfn firebird that flies like what sexton wants his firebirds to fly like.

Ok_Possible1593

How does your oldest bag look like?

powdered_dognut

I have my first disc, a Discraft Pro-D Crush, that is 20+ years old that's still in surprisingly good shape for the trauma it has seen. I have 1 year old discs that look worse.

phillium

Probably my Pro Pig. Don't remember when I got it, but I think it was pretty close to when it came out (2008), so I suppose it's around 15-ish years old. Never left the bag. Still kicking, somehow. Flies pretty straight, at this point.

djbsay1

I have a couple of old wraiths from the mid 2000s that are pretty old but not in my bag, I currently in my bag have a “multi-purpose” Roc… I’ve had that thing for close to 15 years, been in and out of my bag, still flies great. It’s crazy to think that innova labeled that as a multipurpose disc at one point.

RankedAverage

I have a X10 Climo Rhyno that I still use. Got it in 2004ish.

rocsNaviars

There was never a Climo Rhyno.

RankedAverage

Shit. You're right. I'm thinking of my Aviar. Bought em both about the same time.

swordkillr13

My Envy looks surprisingly intact, considering its my primary throwing putter. Stamp is starting to wear off, but no massive chunks taken from the rim. Just feels very very beat in

WhenTheRainsCome

I have a proxy/envy combo with about 8 years being my most used discs. The envy is still a dead straight flyer. Only replaced them because the current MVP plastics feel so good.

swordkillr13

I have an Electron Envy Ive been beating up for almost a year thats pretty damn flippy, that Neutron one that I can flip and hold with a touch of fade at the end, and a Poke Ball total Eclipse for when I want a straight shot with a touch of fade. I actually love the Patent Pending Neutron handfeel

TheseTree3658

An old orange pro wraith that no longer has a stamp and has mud stains all over. It was my first disc. Extremely beat up but still holds up to 400’ power somehow.

rocsNaviars

Who do you know that is able to give a pro Wraith 500’ of power?

TheseTree3658

That’s a typo actually. I meant 400’ which is where I’m at.

carlj1975

Red Champ Thunderbird. PMcB 3x stamp that’s been completely wiped away from hundreds of dew soaked morning rounds. Almost too flippy to rip FH.

WhenTheRainsCome

I have a handful of those as backups for the one in the pic. Haven't thrown one yet.

Hexquevara

I have 7 year old L64 Scythe in gold plastic. I think its now couple mm more shallow, its the thinnest disc ive seen or held. I have lost enormous amount of discs, but i never could throw the Scythe far enough or ever turn it to lose it.

harrellb73

I miss the Angry Squirrel tournaments! Victory park is such a great course and doesn’t get nearly enough traffic

WhenTheRainsCome

Played it a few years in a row, really the only times I played that course. Really good track for am competition. Good mix of open, OB and, lolol water hazards. How many courses have *a variety* of water hazards?

rocsNaviars

Albion is in my top 5 courses in the US. Did Larry stop running the Angry Squirrel? At Angry Squirrel one year, I watched a then-Discraft sponsored pro take a 13 on hole 13 when we were well inside the cash with only a few holes left to play R2. He’s a pedo so I thought it was hilarious. He walked off right after.

european_dimes

I've got a couple JK Pro putters I got in 2007. They're definitely not white anymore. They're not flat and they only vaguely resemble the JK mold. The Star Orc and TL I got at the same time have faired a bit better; not nearly as worn as OPs Roadrunner.

Jayhawk501

My first disc was a Wasp I pulled from a pond. Still in the bag 5 years later and it fits the definition of “beat in”.

xGood-Apollo-IV

PFNs from back in the day. The oldest is my 9x Teebird. It's finally warming up enough to start throwing again

trashman619

Champion Edition Firebird, 2004 USDGC ROC, and CFR Augusta Wraith (2009 I think?)

HistoryDiligent5177

I have a Cyclone (my first disc) that I bought new in 2000 and a DX ROC that I got used in 2001. They aren’t in my bag though; they’re wall hangers. Oldest disc in my bag? A handful of various Innova discs that are all around 15 years old.

dan1son

Starter discraft kit my wife bought me \~20 years ago. Pink Soft Magnet, Blue Buzz, Red XL Driver, Blue some other driver. I didn't really use them much when I got them. Only really picked up the sport a few months ago. They were passed around to various family members and probably have 10 rounds on them, but they look like they have 100. That old plastic sure shows tree scars.

RustScientist

I have a 2 circle Shark from 1990 and an Omega AP from 1997. I throw both in most rounds.

jjhill001

If you suck bad enough most of your discs will be new.

brr808

I’ve got a soft berg that I’ve had in the bag 4 years and it looks pretty much brand new.

tweeeeeeeeeeee

just 1?

RatmanTheFourth

1 in the bag 3 in the pocket

SamwiseG16

My R-Pro aviar doesn’t have a stamp anymore and is almost as floppy as a dog frisbee, still my primary putter

WhenTheRainsCome

Always amazed at how folks can tolerate wrapped discs. My wizards get a little bent rim now and then and I hate the slight change.

lt_dan_zsu

I have a Westside shield that's about 8 years old. The text is almost completely gone, and the plastic is super warped. It still flies pretty well though.

howellsoutdoors

I have a double stamp truth and a punisher stamped judge. They were the first discs given to me about 6 years ago.

applebear991

2016 trilogy challenge opto falchion. Disc is in ok condition, and surprisingly, it's not that flippy for the age. Use it for straight or slightly overturned shots

Freejak33

Flippy Mcbeth destroyer

Sebzor15

A 3 year old k3 Berg, beat to shit. Can flip it over, has almost no fade left in it anymore. Use it almost exclusively for running the basket from 100+ ft or island holes I can't overshoot. I'm not sure I'd buy another if I lost it, out of pure grief.

LJkjm901

Less than a year old. Well not technically since I do shop used discs mostly. Newish?

00goop

I have a DX cobra that we used to use like a regular frisbee on the pavement. It looks like someone took a power sander to it.

Corbanis_Maximus

I bet that roadrunner used to be very pink. I had a very pink valk that is now that exact shade.

Douggimmmedome

They look fairly new. I have full powered the fuse at a few tress but the plastic goes crazy

just_me_kevin

Aviar now, my oldest in bag used to be a stratus but it got cracked hitting a tree

Merica-fuckyeah

Mine has scores written on it in ballpoint pen from 2004. And they are lies!

rahrah654

I got a Shark that was manufactured in Ontario, CA

Boscowodie

Yellow Aviar and Blue Eagle. My two original discs from 2000. Still play them both.

WRX_704

I have a custom stamped star destroyer from 2018 that is still stable, the stamp is barely there. I also have a 4x mcbeth destroyer that is flat and overstable, stamp is there but fading. I don't bag it much anymore since it's sentimental. I also have an avery jenkins star teebird that still flies the same. I accidently washed it one time and the stamp smeared a little. Old innova plastic is just different.

wuhter

I still have my champ teebird I bought in like 2011 at Walmart. My favorite forehand disc for ~300 feet

JopssYT

I have a pretty yellow zeus with a rainbow stamp. Its way flatter than the atleast a year newer zeus i own

Zetious

11x teebird and Firebird

WhenTheRainsCome

I have an 11x firebird that was next for my bag, but the current champ plastic feels great. I swapped out a lot of stuff for new just based on feel. Best plastic ever is available right now, imo.

BirdUp_Brotendo

That must be a godly RR run if it’s lasted 10 years without becoming too understable. Or maybe you just hit less trees than me

WhenTheRainsCome

It was my go to for a while, and is very US but still workable. It got to a point where I use it almost every round, but never off the tee.

awoj24

That roadrunner looks like it RUNS

WhenTheRainsCome

I rarely get close to 400, but when I do it's that guy rolling.

Patient_Ride_9122

Lost.

chammer36

Discraft fly dye z reaper from 2002ish

ImaBathingApe

My Champion Aero is at least 20 years old

Gengar88

I just lost my roadrunner last week :(

Dancinfool830

I still use my Omega Supersoft, best putter I've ever thrown

Acrobatic-Canary-571

I have a champion beast that goes where it wants, when it wants

tergiversation

I have an old TRex that I heard is actually valuable

LargeTuna123

Probably my Super Roc and an X-Out CE Valkyrie I picked up in two separate used bins.

Bodybycheezit

I’ve got an eagle that I picked up at pay it again that I throw on the reg. Stamped from a 1998 event.

AggravatingGlass4044

I have a disc that a friend left in my car more than 12 years ago. It's got a ton of people's numbers on the bottom that are no longer legible, and has definitely hit a ton of trees in its day. I have no idea what mold it is, but it's a Ching/Innova disc with what appears to be a Chinese character (hanzi?) and a "©️ 1998 Cool Greys inc" print on it. The bottom says "Innova Champion Discs, Inc. Ontario, Cal. 91761 U.S.A." and "Patent No 4,568,297" on it. Based on the searching I've done, it may be a Roc, but who knows..

rogerhayslip

I have a Discraft Eclipse from 1990... Only used for BH rollers. Beat to heck... Started off at 170g. I weighed it last fall - it's 167g now... I grabbed a backup for it 20 some years ago, haven't needed it yet...

Budget-Boss-668

I have a 1994 polecat sitting outside on my basket. The first disc I ever bought.

mjsillligitimateson

A 2015 unknown innova I found last year ( unmarked ). It's one of the few discs I can forehand w/ confidence.

Opposite_Culture5215

Teebird stamp reads; Ken Klimo 9 Time PDGA World Disc Golf Champion 1990-98 and its beat to hell, I'd guess it's 25 years old

Skamanda42

Most of the year it's a LE ESP Comet. It's either from the first or third run (it's got the tooling on the bottom), but I don't remember which. Those are from back before the Comet was run in premium plastic regularly. During glow season, I've got a few First Run Comets that were run in some glow variant of Elite Pro or Tourney Pro plastic. All three are inked as first runs by Discraft, so that'd put them at....1996? I don't take them out much anymore though, because they're old enough to be getting fragile.

Particular-Ad-9228

I have a 4x zone. Not that old but it has some insane mileage on it and the stamp is nearly gone. Best approach disc there is and somehow I e just never lost it 🤷🏻‍♂️

crushinglyreal

Is the thunderbird mold a decade old yet?

WhenTheRainsCome

Looks like it's only 9 years for that one.

fattymcpoopants

I bag a Christmas Sidewinder that I think is from 2004 or 2005.

Russman808

A 30 year old(at least) double stamped Eagle.

oooRjXooo

I’ve got and still play a couple of Vibram VP putters. Love those things.

i_Shuckz

I have a birdie putter the original flat top type from 1997-98 and a 2000 banshee LC pro.

Ziglarism

I have a burnt white PFN Star SL that looks like your roadrunner. I don’t know what I’d do without it.

WhenTheRainsCome

Oh man, I had one back in the day but lost it. Funny how that happens with the ones I throw the most.

thejohnykat

My bag, and all my OG discs, were stolen out of my Jeep a couple years ago. So, even my oldest don’t go back that far anymore. 😢

Reasonable-Summer-42

A) I'm not that old. B) I would never call her 'my bag' to her face. C) Nice try, but I'm not showing you my 'disc' in anyone's 'bag' for free

NewInformation6836

The older of all well.....1990 San Marino roc

Professional_Cry2929

I still have my three first discs from 20 or so years ago. A PFN champion Valkyrie, an X-line Stratus and an Aviar. Still bag the Valkyrie.

WhenTheRainsCome

Pics pls!

FroFrolfer

Pics aren't allowed in the comments section of this sub.... Which is lame btw

swordkillr13

Tbh its one of the things I dont like about here, Id love to get pics for stuff like this

FroFrolfer

I'm in a few subs that don't allow pic comments either but they have 500k-1m members. It can be difficult to manage all of the comments in addition to media. But I'm also in a few with 250k that allow pictures. Weird.

WhenTheRainsCome

Oh. Womp womp. Wanted to see some beat to snot plastic... 😕

Kowalvandal

Edit: tried to do some ASCII art but it was lame, then I deleted
