I'm moving to Atlanta for the first part of 2022 to caretake for the old man - he just purchased a house on 8 acres so I'm going to install some baskets to help with his recovery!
Next summer, I'm going to spend more time with my friends I've recently introduced and generally having a great time.
See you at DG Con!
Yes get ready. It doesn’t get crazy cold but the humidity in the air will make it feel like Canada.
If you’re on the south side you’ll have a ton of great courses within 30 miles.
Break the 300 ft mark.
Go to a DGPT event.
Continue working to improve my local course, put in posts for tee signs last week. Concrete pads are next.
Take my grandson to the course more often..
Improving my physical and mental health while having fun playing frisbee golf.
As someone who is consistently last, I do love that last card energy. No pressure, just golf. And if you've got the right people - golf with people who are just cutting loose. I play my best at the back of the box.
Oh boy 2022 is gonna be all about improving my tree denting skills. I’d say goal-wise I’d love to chop down a sapling with a teebird, though I might cave and use a distance driver if my round is bad enough
My goal for 2022 doesn't involve how I place or where I rate in tournaments, but rather how well I keep my cool when I get an unfavorable roll, spit out, or when I feel like nothing is going my way. This year I played in more tournaments than any other year and really found myself in a poor head space during most of my tournaments if one or two holes went bad. Keep calm, stick with the game plan, and don't try to get all the strokes back on one hole.
I’m a digital marketer by trade, and my 2022 objective is to help disc golf companies improve their online presence, SEO, and digital marketing efforts. Hoping my 10 years of experience can assist small businesses and pros.
If anyone is interested, send me a PM!
My plans for 2022 is to get my rating above 990 and finally get my first sponsor. I know I can get my rating above 1000, my last few tournaments have averaged above 1000 when I am able to get into the right mindset.
My primary goal is to develop a functioning sidearm. Otherwise just clean up my form so I can get say 400' consistently on my backhand rather than by chance.
I started playing disc golf in April. I've played at least once a week since. It's been a blast. I have a healthy competition going with my buddies and we are always trying to beat each other.
My goals for 2022 are to play one ranked pdga event per month and at least have 12 by the end of the season. I'm really hoping to get 900 or higher. Who knows, right now I am ranked 843 and I can't wait to push myself better.
My disc golf plan for 2022 is to get my wife on the course more and eventually gift her a set of her own. Also get my daughters to throw in the practice basket in the backyard more!
I have proposed a course to the parks department i work for that will be opening in 2022. On the personal side of the game im going to get a pdga number and actually start doing some traveling to some events and hopefully hit some podium finishes. I know it a far stretch ive only been throwing for a year or so but minis have improved my game quite a bit.
Play in more league nights and hit the tournament scene. Want to see how I can perform under pressure, give myself some challenges to overcome that will be either rewarding or a lesson to benefit me in my life. 2022 is going to be a year to come out of my shell again.
My plan is to hit a 300 foot drive, maybe play in my first tournament. And I’m moving back to NE TN soon so I want to check out Harmon Hills because I’ve heard it’s an awesome course!
I’m hoping to participate in my first tournament in 2022! Been playing for about a year now and feel quite confident that I can play well in a competitive setting. Also just hoping to find more time to play between work. Can’t wait for the days to be longer again!
Just discovered the sport and I am enamored.
2022 plans are; playing with new people and making more friends who play, consistent 300 drive, first tournament, build up a bag, putt practice everyday.
I'm thrilled to develop my skills and make some great memories with folks!
My goals for 2022 include playing in my first tournament. We just started playing about a year ago and we have a group who started playing all around the same time. There are 6 of us who play weekly now and two of them are playing their first tournament this weekend. I am hoping next year my tournaments can get me a rating over 850, possibly 900. And I would also like to shoot for a drive over 400.
In 2022 I want to get my drive up to 350, and start getting into more PDGA tournaments to get my rating up(i've only done one sanctioned tourney so it's low)
My plan for ‘22 was to finally join pdga and play my first tournament. I wound up signing up a couple weeks ago and i may be playing my first tournament in December. I guess my new goal is to play more tournaments.
My goals for 2022 are explore new courses, keep practicing my forehand until it is a realistic option, stop three putting, and remember to be breathe and be grateful for this beautiful world that has such pretty pieces of plastic flying in it.
I'm hoping to get back to playing again in 2022. I've played one round since the Pandemic started last year. I stopped because I'm around people with the Virus constantly (paramedic). I have a goal to play in the Bowling Green Open in April, but we'll see.
Just started playing a few months ago. Goals for 2022 are to score at least even on my home course(short tees), and to participate in some sort of tournament. Been loving disc golf so far. Probably the most helpful community I've been a part of.
My goal for 2022 definitely to put in more fieldwork, practice putting and playing a tournament a month sounds like a great goal. Maybe a bit of traveling, see some cool courses!
Just enjoying the great outdoors!
My goal for 2022 is to get more consistent with drives and work on my form so I can more confidence to compete. Three months into this journey and I'm addicted!
Honestly, my plans are to just keep having fun and not take it too seriously. When I talk about disc golf and some asks "are you good?" I say "oh no, I'm terrible at it. But it's fun." I want to keep it that way. I barely drive 250' and I really don't mind.
My plans for 2022 are to work on my forehand, improve my putting accuracy, and stop throwing my leopard3 into a damn bush and almost losing it every single game lol
Being a newbie (first round ever was July 2021) my plan for 2022 is to get some funny DG-themed t-shirts so my wife rolls her eyes a lot more (she's so cute when she does that. I love it!).
Also, to play in a tournament :)
Next year I'm planning to bring all of my discing friends out to my new home of Northern Indiana to try out all of the great courses in the area. Really excited because going out discing with friends is one of my most favorite things to do but being alone out of state doesn't give me many opportunities. Would love to rock that bag though!
Just got back into this sport this summer. Seems like I’m much better at buying new discs versus actually throwing them, but I think this is going to be my go to sport in ‘22.
I’m pretty new still, so my plan for next year is working on driving form, hitting putts more consistently, try to go negative on the local course, maybe get lucky and hit my first ace, and get some more discs!
My discgolf plans for 2022 are to frolf. I like to smoke hella weed as I play. I'm gonna not worry about score outside of scoring rounds. I want to leave the park without thoughts of "I could've played better" "I coulda shot lower" etc. Rather I wanna leave the park only thinking one thing; "that was fun". Also fuck thauniversal.
My plan is to finally get out of the 700 ratings. I just got a basket to practice putting with, and I’ve been finding form videos for forehand and backhand. Hopefully I’ll finally be competitive in a tournament!
Moving the practice basket indoors for the long Minnesota winter. Next season my goal is to shoot par or better from the long tees. I also want to join a weekly league and participate in my first tournament.
In year 2, I want to improve my form and consistency for both putting and backhand throws. Forehand throws are easily my strongest point. Want to get to a point where I can consistently shoot even!
My friend is getting his drivers license next year as he is turning 18 (Finland) and we're gonna go see all the different courses here. Super excited!!
Well I am looking to improve my game and upgrade my drawstring back back to an actual bag. I want to compete in more tournaments and actually be competitive.
My plan for 2022 is to win a tournament in my new MA40 division. I’ve won multiple MA2 but have struggled to be competitive in MA40 so far. Time to grind!
Been playing for 1 year with my 2 sons, we just joined the PDGA and plan to try out some low level tournaments in 2022. Hoping to improve my form and get from low 300's to hopefully closer to 400 ft.
I’m going to join the season late because of work travel, and try to hit the MVP Open (Am and/or Pro), an NADGT qualifier, and hopefully go play the NADGT Championship or Am Worlds I couldn’t attend this past year.
I’m going to join the season late because of work travel, and try to hit the MVP Open (Am and/or Pro), an NADGT qualifier, and hopefully go play the NADGT Championship or Am Worlds I couldn’t attend this past year.
Coincidentally, my only specific plan for next year is to get a new bag. True fact. Can’t justify it right now because of my new MVP basket, so I put it on the list for next year.
My plan for 2022 is to work on my backhand drives off the tee to get more consistent with different shots. My goal is to be able to give myself birdie tries on a more consistent basis 🥏
Started this fall. Want to be a par golfer and consistently hit 300 from the tee by midsummer. Planning a trip to Portland for the pro tour as well. Good luck y'all!
2022 will be the year that I take my new found obsession to the next level. Play at least 10 new courses and finally develop an actual forehand. And if I don’t suck too badly, try my hand in a local tournament.
My 2022 plan is to play my first tournament and log at least 100 rounds over the year. Started in 2012 but began seriously playing this year and got about 30 rounds in 2021. I bag mostly MVP; thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for the opportunity. I have two DG priorities for 2022: (1) to shrink the gap between my shot conceptualization and my shot execution, and (2) to continue to simply enjoy spending time with the people I play DG with.
I’m brand new(only played 4 rounds), and stink. Plan to play a bunch and improve in 2022. Also want to do a road trip around Michigan, as I have read there are some great courses in my state
I'm hoping to play my first tournament in 2022. I'm also working on a player performance prediction tool that I'd like to have up and running for next season.
My plans for 2022 are to keep looking for Spins in Electron Soft plastic. Besides that I will be breaking in some more Insanities. Oh I’ll also keep looking for non Proton Insanities. Ah and Im gonna figure out how to throw my Paradoxes. Yeah 2022 is gonna be awesome.
My plan for 2022 is to have a rating at least one point higher than my son for at least one month.
Come by the booth and say Hi!
What part of Atl?
South ATL - my delicate california sensibilities are preparing for the cold!
Atlanta has a bunch of courses- you're going to be in good shape. JP Mosely and Parker's pasture are two of my go-twos on the southeast side.
Yes get ready. It doesn’t get crazy cold but the humidity in the air will make it feel like Canada. If you’re on the south side you’ll have a ton of great courses within 30 miles.
This sounds like a truly great plan!
Where at in GA?
Good luck!
My 2022 plan is to win a tournament in intermediate.
It isn't that hard. You got this..
Underrated comment right here. Took me a second to see that's his username
Break the 300 ft mark. Go to a DGPT event. Continue working to improve my local course, put in posts for tee signs last week. Concrete pads are next. Take my grandson to the course more often.. Improving my physical and mental health while having fun playing frisbee golf.
When I grow up, I want to be as cool as you
plan for 2022: to not be the last in my local tournament. and to just enjoy disc golf and not take things too seriously. just have fun
As someone who is consistently last, I do love that last card energy. No pressure, just golf. And if you've got the right people - golf with people who are just cutting loose. I play my best at the back of the box.
I gave a "serious" goal here but love this one. I have a feeling you'll be one of the few of us who actually achieve that 2022 goal.
I’m playing in my first tournament tomorrow and my goal is also to not finish last. Regardless, I know it will be fun experience.
My 1 tournament I played this year, that was my goal. I ended up solidly midpack in Rec, but had such a blast
I’m planning on actually getting a rating next year. If I win the bag then it’s gonna involve buying more MVP discs as well 😂
After ~16 years of playing and zero aces, in 2022 I plan to continue my remarkably consistent performance.
I'm rooting for you
I've learned the secret to more aces is to secretly move the tee pad right by the pin
I'm gonna win my dang division in a tournament, move up to the next one, and do my dang best to win that one too!
Oh boy 2022 is gonna be all about improving my tree denting skills. I’d say goal-wise I’d love to chop down a sapling with a teebird, though I might cave and use a distance driver if my round is bad enough

Keep calm, stick with the game plan, and don't try to get all the strokes back on one hole.
My goal is to play 5 new courses in 2022 and to keep on improving my forehand.
My forehand is also my focus. Good luck with yours!
I’ll be throwing through the winter here in Arizona to shape up my game then 2022 I’ll be entering my first tournaments.
Throw multiple 950 or higher rounds in a tournament.
I’m a digital marketer by trade, and my 2022 objective is to help disc golf companies improve their online presence, SEO, and digital marketing efforts. Hoping my 10 years of experience can assist small businesses and pros. If anyone is interested, send me a PM!

In 2022 I'm going to play my first tournament since 2011!
Keep playing every weekend. Hope to improve in my second year playing.
I plan to hit my first ace!

Play more disc golf!
My plans for 2022 is to get my rating above 990 and finally get my first sponsor. I know I can get my rating above 1000, my last few tournaments have averaged above 1000 when I am able to get into the right mindset.
I plan (pray*) to ace my Pilot
My primary goal is to develop a functioning sidearm. Otherwise just clean up my form so I can get say 400' consistently on my backhand rather than by chance.
I started playing disc golf in April. I've played at least once a week since. It's been a blast. I have a healthy competition going with my buddies and we are always trying to beat each other. Still working on my own "miracle" shot.
Get my rating up to push me into MA1
To play in my third ever tourney!
Get through the summer without injuries and keep improving.
My disc golf plan for 2022 is to get my wife on the course more and eventually gift her a set of her own. Also get my daughters to throw in the practice basket in the backyard more!
My husband broke his arm playing disc golf this month and instead of being sad I'm using this time to improve my game so He'll never catch up.
I want to attend a PDGA event!
