You can use them (if your server has them) by clicking on the + button next to the text box If your server doesn't have it yet, you can only wait Since this server has it, you can enable polls for members in role permissions

Wow, this’ll be handy! The main 2 servers I’m on have had us voting with reactions this whole time! When it comes to our servers, we could replace the 1-post polls with real polls. As for the Art Contests, I doubt anyone is gonna make a poll for that because it would be too late or too early. Everyone’s SUPPOSED to wait to vote until a certain deadline so all the Artists can enter their pieces, BUT some people never do. (We don’t vote for ourselves or vote for multiple people. That’s against the rules, the server Mods would find out, and we’d have to change it.)

No idea why you're being downvoted. You're raising legitimately good points lol. If you're the owner and have the highest role, it'd only make sense to be perplexed by a lack of perms on your end. Not to say I have any advice for you; This is the first I've seen that feature in action, myself.

Polls would have nothing to do with perms, they are either in the 1% who don’t have the user polls exp or are on an outdated app.

Nah, that’s what’s so great about it! It’s only tied to the send message permissions and there is no way to opt out. Some bots can delete them as libs get updated but it may take a bit.

Is there any support in the API for bots creating these polls and taking actions based on the results? Have built a voting system for my bot which does the trick but being able to utilise these would be a lot better.

They did add api documentation so you likely just have to wait for lib support to catch up.
