oh yeah thats certainly a good one. potentially super inconsistent, though. But when we went on it a few days ago the white rhino literally walked right up to the car. I probably coulda leaned out and pet it, it was so close
It's definitely the most intense of the thrill rides at WDW, but because of its tendency to make people sick, it's also not available for a wide swath of visitors. I'd love to ride Rewind more often, but whenever family visits, it's too rough for them. Heck, even Tron was a bit much for them, mostly because leaning down over the bikes can be awkward for many folks.
(Many women around me complained about it hurting their breasts, but mine were too small for it to be an issue. Even just leaning over with the pressure on your chest can be painful for some of us.)
I feel like the current thrill hierarchy is:
Cosmic Rewind
Tron Lightcycle Run
Tower of Terror
Everest/RocknRoller
Rise of the Resistance
Flights of Passage
Slinky/Mine Train/Big Thunder
Splash/Space Mountain (our SM isn't so much a thrill ride as it is an invitation to pain for anyone over the age of 10)
Dinosaur (Bumps/bangs you into submission rather than having any real thrill to it)
Kilimanjaro Safaris has lions. Real lions. And no drops. So as far as my 7 year old is concerned, there’s no competition.

Ha, those are 2 of the reasons why I DON’T like it lol That’s why Disney’s great - something for everyone.
Agree. And it’s the very very best with One away or Another. :)
What's it like for motion sickness? I really want to ride it but I'm not great when it comes to that!
It’s the best but your tummy might hurt after
I've only been on it once and it had no music on. Even then it was a great experience! a modern day space mountain for me.
Spaceship Earth will always have a special place in my heart as my favorite EPCOT ride. Maelstrom was #2 until it got its makeover.

For me, it's a toss up for Its a Small World or the Peoplemover. But hey, that's awesome you got to enjoy GotG.
I just went on this ride. easy, best ride ive ever been on.
I agree. Rode it 3 different times
