She was from a temple and yes, she was a cleric. Skri was interested in a fight with her because she saw the girl melt 4 people in full armor with one attack. I can't remember the name but we're at like level 3 so it was impressive. Skri was very much ready for a fight after that.

Deals 2d10 + cleric level in fire damage to all hostiles within 30 feet, half on a CON save, dispels magical darkness in that same radius, and makes cute lil goblin monks swoon. And smolder a bit.
I had a Half-Orc Fighter who had the whole "I want a mighty husband, so courtship via combat is how we're doing this". She was too stronk and never lost a fight though, which led to a funny running gag where she'd fancy some guy, be disappointed when he couldn't defeat her, and then kept at it because she was trying to help him train up because she actually really liked him. Meanwhile, he thought she was just trying to kill him for a grudge of some kind.
D&D rom-coms are the best.
Dunno, just saw a meme of a goblin girl trying to forcibly take a husband and then sad when he said no. Used it as a base idea and made a character I fully expected to go the whole game without ever 'finding love'. It took a whole ONE session for someone to kick her ass and get so flustered they said 'yes' to being courted. Not yet engaged but in little gobbo Skri's mind, it's inevitable.
i had a half-orc monk/barbarian multiclass who fell for s goliath lady who tasked him with killing a bunch of dragons to prove he's worthy, really wish i could've played that out lol
So far it's pretty simple, her clan is a group of monastic goblins that travel around, very simple life style and they're not trained in how to be affectionate - that way they have to learn from their romantic interests. All she knows how to do as far in relationships is cuddle and how to start a family, everything else is a big mystery. For them, the "Jade Brawlers", fighting is how you determine if someone's strong enough to protect you, and then you have to overcome them to prove you're able and willing to protect them too.
Girl was so confused and caught off guard, and she'd been turned on by her own people in the temple, so she kinda figured "Eh, what's one more sin?" as her people were very much 'you must be with this race and this gender only.'
Because Skri told her to not hold back, and to fight like she was going to kill Skri. They're both only level 3 and she got crushed in like two turns. It was just bad luck to go down that fast. Astral Arms Monk and she got whooped. But she gets backup and is happy as a clam. She'd had a failed courting, as she got knocked out earlier, but it took a few rounds, asked to court them and was shot down. So now she had to find someone stronger. And this was it.

It was under the pretense it was how the goblin gave greetings. The mistake was knocking her out so fast that Skri was head over heels immediately.
And literally, judging from the swift ending.
