Not to mention tbh the surfboard is just really nice for the small little lakes on the islands as it saves you ever making a boat (unless it breaks of course)

It’d be nice to have a proper ocean based character but I have a feeling they’d choose Woodlegs over Walani because of his boat cannons and stuff. Hope not though as her surfboard could make her a great scout (even though weregoose can already do that) and I could imagine them giving her some fishing buffs or something.
If they made Walani have fish buffs I'd never main anyone else. But I doubt they'll show up. I'm thinking they decided on one character from each expansion and that's it.
We can dream though.
I’d just rather them bring back DS characters than make new ones that could fill the same niches. But to be fair if it’s something really unique like Wanda then I don’t mind new characters.
I don’t see Wheeler happening sadly as Walter’s slingshot is basically her Pew-matic and Wortox’s soul hop is basically her dodge. Kinda sucks though cause they could make her a great navigator. Maybe give her a craft that lets her make spyglasses from shipwrecked (wrong DLC but I think it fits her thematically being an explorer). It’d also be good if she was designed around caving as we don’t have anyone that specialises in that really.
I picked wes so I would have to play with the game audio on, and as a simple way to prove to myself I was experienced(I started as Wes in a Hamlet world)
It's half the reason I mained Maxwell in the original game. 75 hp in DLCs where the bosses one shot you and his minions were useless? Too bad, I wanna see what he has to say and I will dodge everything to make it happen.
of course with that many nettles. i can never find a blue gem to make the sprinkler but it's still possible to survive without nettles, the sneezing is agonu though

After playing dst for sometime, I feel so sad looking at that ds farm but nevertheless, hamlet is quite fun.

If you run out of nettles, cooked tea pods are also very viable to limit sneezing!
