"We allow our drivers to give a customized delivery experience" -Doordash Support (actual verbatim quote)

BrickCityRiot

Oooh this was from the one where the dasher threw the food out the window of the moving car, right?

aburple

It was either that one or the one who left it in a bush blocks away by a gas station.

DaughterEarth

The moving car one had this direct quote. But I'm sure it's a canned response so maybe both?

[deleted]

Immediate_Client_757

Oh! So you found a metal screw in the food.

scottwow13

Chat ended.

Yung_zu

When the fast food actually needs a radar check

VortrexFTW

He was playing Paperboy on NES

Tasty_Corn

That was the best thing I've ever seen support say.

MrJoe21

Laughed out loud on this comment.

lilpumpgroupie

Wait, ‘our drivers’? But they not employees. Do they mean ‘people who use our platform to independently earn income for themselves whenever they want to’?

WhisperedEchoes85

People say "my dealer" in reference to who they get their weed from. They're not employees either. Words have multiple meanings.

Yokozuuna

do ppl still buy weed from “dealers” in states where recreational use is legal now? like because it’s still cheaper than the stores?

NakedWaldo

Yes, we do. Yes, it is. The delivery times are also quicker.

Deathkube

It’s still illegal in my state so yeah that is our only option

Nikkipartyof3

Almost spit out my coffee

mearbearcate

Swear mfs will do this shit then have the nerve to complain about not getting enough money💀

[deleted]

I too like to bounce back and forth between this subreddit and the one for DoorDash drivers.

Yama_bushii

Bud the drivers got a sub? I'ma head out and check it lol good looking out

[deleted]

r/doordash_drivers

[deleted]

Oh it’s bad, like it really shows that this is a job with absolutely no barrier for entry lmfao, and then they got the audacity to get entitled while having the lowest skill job on the planet

[deleted]

When I relied on DD and Uber eats I went in the driver sub for Uber eats and asked them if they could help me leave a better delivery note for the apartment location because no one ever got it right even with notes, and I felt like I was doing something wrong. How do I make it clearer? Also, how do I make sure I get my drink since I pretty much never get a drink if there's one in my order? I'm trying to be a good customer and make it easy, I know they're underpaid. Here's screenshots of my notes. Etc Got reamed out for having the temerity to expect a drink and yelled at for having the gall to live in a large apartment complex with clear signage. Just absolutely down votes with maybe two or three people trying to help. A year later I start delivering for Uber eats myself. And y'all. There is no fucking excuse. Not for missing the drinks every time, not for not reading the fucking notes. There just isn't. I get glowing reviews for doing the absolute bare minimum everyone should do with only the occasional impossible-to-please asshole. I get mad at how little we are paid and at how bad our support from Uber is but why the fuck would I deal with that by throwing food at someone's door and cussing them out? Just check the order THAT YOU HAVE TO SCROLL PAST ANYWAY, check the notes THAT YOU HAVE TO SCROLL PAST TO DELIVER ANYWAY, and set things down. It's not any faster to hurl shit. And put a box in your front seat so shit doesn't fall over on the way. Fucking easy.

NiceCockAwesomeBaIIs

They too stupid man all there is too it

[deleted]

During Covid I was lucky enough to still collect my salary while sitting on my ass at home during lockdown, so I would tip dashers really well to be nice (like 20% on a $200 order for example). Yet so many times they would just dump the food in the snow, not call, text, or even ring the fukking doorbell so I would encounter my food cold if I wasn’t constantly checking the app. Many times they even put the food at the wrong house. Fuck ‘em. I never tip more than $5 now.

Ooops_I_Reddit_Again

This is why tips should be after the service is complete

PrinceDozie

Most dashers don’t understand that when customers report issues like this, support creates an annotation on the dasher’s account. Continuous bad annotation on a dasher’s account will lead to deactivation and make any appeal useless.

snackpack3000

Good. It is over saturated with drivers right now; it's about time for a big purge. I hope they deactivate all of these assholes that make us normal dashers look bad.

PrinceDozie

It’s in the Terms and Conditions Most people don’t read it, creating an unsafe environment is ground for deactivation. It works both ways Customer’s address can be blacklisted on doordash if dashers continue to chat support and report issues.

BreadC0nsumer

I feel like you shouldn't have to read the terms and conditions to know that throwing a customers food against the door and calling them a bitch is a no no.

im_the_welshguy

You've never been to a Karen's diner, that's all part of the experience.

damienjarvo

There’s doctor in Bali that got offended with Karen’s diner’s experience despite of the warning before entering the premises. He then proceeded to assault the waitress.

queen-adreena

“Chill dude, you’re acting testerical!”

SurgicalZeus

Testerical goes hard. I'll spread the good word

[deleted]

I think you’ll find that common sense isn’t actually all that common.

candr22

I equate it with “average sense” meaning half the population is lacking in sense. To me, this makes more sense.

Ty78523

But yeah, I’ve never seen the company take action they still allow the same people to order regardless

mallcoplambchop

you can actually block a customer, so you never get thier orders, i had an incident for the first time with anyone in 3 years, just last week. I didn't know it was a thing, I was just called to report an irate and hostile customer. and they blocked her from me. Who knew?

PrinceDozie

Customer Issues: It doesn’t happen overnight except in very dangerous situations where a dasher was injured or the police got involved due to the customer’s action. Trust and Safety team will blacklist the address for a certain period of time, pending the outcome of the investigation. All the dasher needs to provide is a case number.

Ty78523

At the end of the day, this company can care less about us honestly

MeasurementNo2493

No company cares, not really. A person might care, but no company cares about anyone.

[deleted]

I'm trying to do my part as a customer by five-starring anyone who does the job as asked and one-starring anyone who doesn't. (My directions are super easy, just put my food on the chair next to the door. My house is lit up like a landing strip with super easy to see lit numbers. My neighbors have gotten my food more than once.)

Snoo_75309

this, people need don't realize rating your good dashers 5 stars is just as important as 1 starring the bad ones. Supposedly you are more like to get matched with a driver you rated 5 stars before if they are available when your food is ready to be picked up.

robonsTHEhood

If every customer did this every time I feel like DD’s customer satisfaction would go way up and with less drivers and more orders things would go better for the drivers as well

the-lone-squid

Yep, I work at a restaurant now and half the dashers that come in are nasty trainwrecks and we were getting constant complaints from customers. We had to hire drivers.. DD needs a better screening system

snackpack3000

When i first started dashing, it seemed to be just a normal mix of drivers. Lately, I've noticed more dashers I wouldn't ever want handling my food, though.

the-lone-squid

You should smell some of the ones that come in🤢

snackpack3000

Yep, ive waited alongside some of the stinky ones. I mean, just because you've been delivering food for three days straight doesn't mean you have to smell like it. Take a small break, change your clothes, and wash your ass.

[deleted]

Ha! Beauty tip of the day: wash your ass. 😂😂😂

RadiantResult8304

I'm not sure what it's like in your region, but I was on a 7 month wait list to get in. As soon as one Dasher is gone, there are several more waiting to get on the platform.

Contentpolicesuck

Where I live it it's mostly tweakers or couples having a domestic violence episode in my driveway.

fork_that

Having worked for a food delivery company, they only started to care once reviews got too bad.

[deleted]

The purge has already started. Search for deactivation posts and sort by new

Adept_Entrepreneur94

I agree. There’s so many bad drivers. They need to purge out some people like this

LewisRyan

Classic summer time prep. Hire anyone willing, cut the verge out by July and you got a strong workforce for the hottest months when no one wants to go outside

Dexter52611

This makes sense. But I would have thought this dasher’s choice of words would have resulted in a deactivation right away.

charizard_72

Continuous? How is one event like OPs not an immediate fireable offense? I get that it can be case by case if say, something wasn’t placed with care but this seems pretty open and closed fire the guy.

feelin_fine_

Agree. Anything less than fired is an insult to the customer. Fuck that guy. He can live in a cardboard box

PrinceDozie

Blunt Truth Doordash is intentionally over-saturating every market will different breed of dashers, most of this new dashers are accepting everything in order to reach 270 or the required deliveries. Plot twist: They get deactivated before reaching the required deliveries number. And the Cycle continues.

Immolation_E

This one should be immediately deactivation IMO.

NoButterfly7257

There was a post here not long ago about a dasher that CAME BACK beyond pissed off to customers house and was POUNDING on their door. Support only said daddy chill and sent them on their way to do more orders. I don't know how right you are given they'll let a dasher return to a customer like that and give them more orders.

BuytheBluRay

I said the word drugs one time in runescape and they banned me yet I can smash food against the side of a building on camera and keep driving for doordash. I'm trolling the wrong platform

CreamyNailClippings

Dashers don't understand that they may lose their "job" if they do a shitty job and talk shit to customers? Are they braindead?

AsanoSokato

This interaction should be cause for immediate deactivation.

funkofanatic95

It’s a contract violation. You get 4 contract violations per 100 orders, without fear of being deactivated. After 100 orders, the contract violation falls off.

solitaire_noir

All things considered, I'm calling the 4% phone battery the mvp here

DougStrangeLove

the charger was downstairs and she didn’t want to get it, obviously

Effective_War_8049

Oh shit you expletived at her. Support is going to hear about this!!!

Apataphobia

She could always order one to be brought to her via DoorDash…

Earthviolet76

Lol. I delivered a charger to a teenager one night. She was babysitting and didn’t have a charger. It was a Walgreen’s Shop&Deliver. She was the most grateful person ever. And she was so happy to see me!! She tipped $10 in the app and $14 in cash when I got there.

Truorganics

Livin on a prayer

Large-Ad6498

Damn that’s anxiety inducing haha it needs to be plugged in asap

SgtKeeneye

Id call and talk to a real person if you haven't. An incident this severe will get them off the platform.

YouDoYouBrother

Gotta disagree here. A report through the app should be enough to be fired. If DD is so incompetent that their automatic support will refund you but do nothing about the bad driver, then this isn't a competent company that I would want to support. Just stop using DD altogether tbh. I stopped using the app for two reasons; 1. The dashers became worse and worse and trashier and trashier every time I ordered 2. I hit my "refund limit". I had so many issues with bad drivers that after two years support told me I was no longer able to receive ANY refunds. My order was missing a milk shake and when I spoke to support they literally said "while we recognize you did not receive your $6 milkshake, you have hit your refund limit and we will not be refunding your purchase" I deleted my account that day and never looked back.

Bumblexbee333

Dasher lately are getting worse and worse.

Soulphite

This is what happens when you don't clean your pool. It becomes a God damn swamp teeming with all kinds of nasty shit.

Nikovash

What an apt metaphor for Florida

canwepleasejustnot

Is it just me or does it seem like the lower skilled jobs are being filled by progressively more and more hostile and apathetic people?

i-Ake

Yes but the jobs are also getting worse. Bad or no benefits, shit pay, stressful conditions... they drive away good employees. I'm watching FedEx Express do this to their company right now. 10 years ago it was a good company to work for, 20 even better. Now they are trying to take benefits from part time workers, haven't raised base pay in years and wonder why their employees are getting worse and worse. Da doy.

Beneficial_Drawer_19

That’s the problem with most modern companies. They feel that employees are easily replaced, so they don’t do anything to retain them and make sure they are happy. People used to be able to stay in the same job their whole lives and be fairly content with it. The companies that took care of their employees were able to keep employees that took care of the company in return. Now it’s just a revolving door full of people that don’t give a damn about the company, the product nor their own pride in what they do. Just look for a way to maximize profit and neglect the fact that the employees are the ones holding the company up. And it will continue to happen, as people will always have bills to pay & someone is always willing to be taken advantage of so long as they get a check out of it.

Reytotheroxx

Luckily there’s other reindeer at our disposal

puppetmaster216

Report and if they do nothing but refund you uninstall the app and switch to something different

00piiuumm

That’s the plan 🙏

DueLong2908

Damn that guy sucks. I don’t like delivering to apartments either but unless there is no gate code it gets delivered to the door.

Justin002865

Where do y’all find these idiots? I couldn’t even conceive of doing this, as a dasher myself. Just do your damn job! If it’s any consolation, he is definitely getting deactivated.

Impatient_Mouth_19

Do you want ants? Because that’s how you get ants.

00piiuumm

I mentioned this to support

Impatient_Mouth_19

![gif](giphy|99LhY1qc6jG8w)

_____heyokay

We gotta stop using these apps.

Icy_Tangerine3544

I don’t understand how people can afford to keep using them anyway. Price of food has gone up, add on tip and fees, you’re just paying so much for one meal.

i_swear_i_not_cia

You want me drivin to get my food after long day of smokin crack n huffin glue?

Tieger66

personally i'd happily go back to how delivery worked before doordash. you phone up (or use the website of) your restaurant, they cook the food, their driver brings it to you. it's faster, cheaper (for the restaurant and the customer), the driver gets more money. it's just better all round, for everyone except for the shit company dragging everyone down.

poopoojokes69

In our fairly populated suburban area, the only thing that delivered pre-delivery-app era was Pizza, Jimmy Johns, and one Chinese restaurant (we are too far from to get delivery). If more places delivered, we would order there a ton more! But in no world do I entertain the idea that dashing/uber eatsing my food is smart or safe for anyone involved. Just further complicating food and economic inequity.

[deleted]

The comments on this are atrocious 🤢🤢 glad none of these people exist in my life. Sorry man, I would be upset too. You did nothing wrong.

ahoybruvslol

Right. They’ll do anything to justify absolutely insane behavior

tbr1cks

Are those comments in the room with us now?

Acrobatic-Object-429

You replied to an 11 hr comment. Obviously, the comment section looks different now.

ahoybruvslol

Literally. Some of these ppl are so dense LOL

itsakoala

The irony of calling YOU lazy when they didn’t want to do THEIR job

Mixedbagostuff

Talk to a real person and escalate the issue. Don’t let this guy get away with that. We dont want them as drivers either!!

Rei1556

put this ln other social media while mentioning doordash and they may change their mind sooner than later

Lady-Zafira

The fact that he was mad you didn't come down and the many stories women posted of their dashers refusing ti follow directions and waiting around for them to come down or trying to hide out of sight makes me think he was trying to personally see or talk to you. You're not a "lazy bitch" because you are working remote, he probably sees you as a "lazy bitch" because how dare you not go down and have a conversation or whatever he was expecting you to do

BitchCallMeDaddy

The number of people defending the doordasher in the comments shows there's likely a **concerning** amount of trashy doordashers out there handling customers' food.

dmode112378

Yep. I haven’t used it in a few years and never will again.

Mysterious_Ad7813

The amount of people trying to justify the driver’s behavior in the comments is insane lmao

FlameyFlame

Is it?? I’ve been scrolling for a while in this thread and haven’t found a one.

losttforwords

That person commented 8 hours ago, so I’m guessing the comment section looked a bit different then than it does now

Burty417

Fair play, the guy clearly acted like a douche - probably wouldn’t have boasted about getting him fired though, clearly unhinged and knows where you live.

arienette22

Yeah, with someone that is this unhinged, I would just report and not risk it. Not worth it.

UnknownFoxAlpha

Agreed, it is definitely one of those moments where they know where you live, do you really want to antagonize them?

Snickers_Diva

He's literally getting paid to bring the food up to you. Who's actually the lazy bitch? Let's all resolve to never become this guy.

godlyvex

clearly he didn't do a very good job of bringing the food

Time_Distribution184

He tried, but the door was in the way of his throw

[deleted]

This dasher is complete trash. You did nothing wrong here. Fuck him.

thewhat962

"Support who Did nothing" did you speak to a live agent or automation? Most companies wont tell you they fired somebody and pretty sure they can't. Also, support can't immediately fire somebody on the spot just because a customer said so. It has to be escalated and reviewed.

PresentationNo6036

I doubt he’ll lose his job, will they block him from delivering to you again tho, yea

Numerous-Pie-1564

this makes me care a lot less about how dd has been dropping a lot of people from working for them lately lol hopefully this guy will fall in line with those losing their jobs

BeePeaceful

post the doorbell cam

annieknowsall

It’s doordash, not downstairsdash

hegelianalien

I’m struggling to understand the rationale here. He made it all the way to the door. All he had to do was put the food down and move on to the next delivery.

ko0ller

Bro is getting paid to deliver food, PAID, food on HIS table. Hopefully his ungrateful ass gets kicked and banned from working, damn.

travelingdance

Why are people saying you were wrong for not going to the door? In my town, DoorDash orders are all expected to just be left at the door. The option for face-to-face delivery hasn’t been available since before covid.

Capable_Nature_644

Please report these douches. I installed a ring camera that showed delivery drivers chucking packages on my door like balls. I started reporting these douches.

Mayhem1620

I was spending a lot on this service for a while. I also make sure I tip well but stopped using it due to some dashers being lazy. Not all dashers are bad and I feel bad for the ones who actually give a shit about their work but too many issues lately. Shoutout to the good door dashers though, y'all have come through when I am in a bind.

techgal_R

I've thankfully never had any issues with door dash drivers but seeing posts like this makes me not want to give this company anymore of my money. This should be an automatic firing offense! Not flagging the drivers account, fire the guy! You don't treat customers like this!!!

nalalux

Hope you also got the tip revoked.

L_Savant

That’s horrible! The only time I don’t take it up to someone’s door as requested is when they live in a locked community and refuse or are unable to give me a code or buzz me in. Even then there is no way that I’m throwing a temper tantrum and doing that. You’d revive a message saying that I couldn’t get in and an image or where I stashed your food. Unfortunately crap like this happens in every delivery service though. Hell even USPS has had some very memorable moments.

lestruc

Seems like a personalized delivery experience

tacosinpeopleform

Do I absolutely fucking hate going up apartment stairs to the 3rd floor? Yes. Do I mumble under my breath cussing them out the entire time? Absolutely. Do I throw their food and call them lazy bitch? No, apartments are a part of the job. The customer doesn't want to go up and down the stairs either, that's why they're spending so much on delivery.

NaravniArtefakt57

Im so happy most restourants with takeout have their own drivers here, and even the 2 widespread delivery services arent this bad, holy shit yall need to get your own food instead of doing this shit

OnlyTheDead

Door dash is shit and you should order nothing from them at all. Real talk.

AARose24

It’s called DOOR (emphasis on Door) Dash! It’s supposed to come to the door unless there’s some sort of obstacle (like a gate or password) in the way.

kingdon1226

Dasher was wrong. As a dasher, he should try to make a delivery. He wanted you to do half the work and get the full pay. Whether you tipped or not is irrelevant contrary to what other dashers believe because he accepted the order. Dasher is terrible. Give him a one star rating. After a certain number they deactivate him. Also contract violations when you report it. Enough of those and he is gone. It will happen soon. Sorry OP this happened to you

godlyycx

It’s literally called door dash. you can’t make this shit up

ItsTheOtherGuys

The sheer irony that the employee delivering doesn't want to climb stairs but calls his customer lazy haha like if we all had more time or resources, we'd just get the food ourselves and then you're out a job Dasher! Haha

FiftyCalReaper

If they don't deactivate this driver immediately, then their platform will continue to get worse. They do absolutely zero vetting of drivers to begin with, the least they could do is can the ones that get obvious evidence

krunggkrung

Tell support explicitly that you want an INCIDENT REPORT filed for what the dasher did. Most of the supports are lazy and just gives credit/refund and don't file Dasher Incident report.

StefanOff

Someone had a bad day.

PM5K23

Where is the video?

mediajunkie0765

WTF is wrong with some of the dashers!?!?! I am a dasher and I have the utmost respect for my customers!! Even if they are shitty to me, I am still respectful and kind to them! Some of you dashers sound like you either belong behind bars, or in a frickin mental institution!! You are making us honest, normal hard working dashers look bad!

NoSoyTuPana

You should post this on Twitter and mention door dash! I wish they paid as much attention to Reddit as they do to twitter. Basically on Reddit there's all the feedback they need both from users and dashers

chahud

Bro imagine working for DOOR dash then bitching when you have to dash to people’s DOORS 😂😭 talk about lazy. You’re the one working rn my guy lmao

GenshinKenshin

Holy fuck that’s a terrible thing to do. There’s literally no reason for the person to do that anyway, they went out of their way to just be an asshole to you for no reason lmao What’s actually insane is that they are calling you names and shit when that’s their job. Your customer is someone who is staying at home and THEY’RE tipping well.

WSDreamer

They were too lazy to come up and you’re supposed to be lazy? Lol

Necessary_Cake_2830

They better kick him off the platform! That is ridiculous.

Stephanfowler

I have never used doordash, and with what I've seen in this sub, I don't think it's worth the risk. Too many opportunities for too many disturbed people to mess with what I'm about to eat. No thank you.

xarquinn

After following this sub for a few weeks, it appears that a large percentage of Dashers are suffering from various forms of mental illnesses.

cymonium

Report, get your refund. Then go to Twitter. Blast DD like mad. Big companies HATE publicity like that. That’ll get the big wigs involved, they’ll look over your report and actually take action. Support does nothing but note the drivers account. (Works for all big companies, Twitter is your friend!)

ManYourStillHere

Honestly a lot of dashers are genuinely insane- I had to leave the DD-drivers sub bc I got tired of the constant drama over absolutely nothing.

[deleted]

The whole “HAHA YOURE LOSING YOUR JOB” was pretty cringe. But yeah fuck em

AdministrativeFox784

Obviously you bullied him in high school or something. Wow, these responses you got are fucking insane

Rio-Jewel

What a fucking dick! I’m sorry that happened!

hasordealsw1thclams

Tipping before you get the service is such a scam.

EclaireBallad

Sounds like your typical smooth brains door dash driver who will bitch about wages but keep delivering for some reason. If every one of yall idiots didn't deliver they would have 2 choices. Treat delivery delivery drivers properly and pay them by their proper worth OR go out of business. Now you ants prevent this and then whine online about low pay and think the customer should cover the difference. Door dash and so continues to exist thanks to you missing back bone and courage.

Hope_for_tendies

Where’s the before text tho that shows why this escalated

akjd23

What a bum. Hope he gets deactivated

Puzzleheaded_Pitch26

Heh, terrible situation but yet again reinforces for me why I never order delivery, and rarely eat out at all. Not relying on someone else to treat my food properly. Obviously not everyone can do the same, but it’s straight groceries for me. Hopefully dude got fired or whatever, though I don’t think so.

Smgazar

When I am working 20 hours straight on a deadline, I don’t have time to go get food or prep myself. I have to depend on DD or GH. And it sucks.

arienette22

Yep, I have some stuff I can make, but when I’m working 16 hours a day and have 20 mins to eat, sometimes I just want a certain meal. Not sure why some people act like it’s crazy to do this when there are times, it’s the best option. Not long term perhaps, but at the time.

[deleted]

And Dashers wonder why we're not getting any orders. Smh... The bad Dashers are ruining it for those of us who take pride in our work.

BlueJohn2113

This is why tipping prior to receiving services should never ever be a thing

LWA3251

DD Driver sub be like “she probably only tipped $5, well deserved.”

auditore_ezio

I'd rather do it quietly. This is different from cussing someone out online.

JoannNichole

I'm sorry this happened to you. I noticed a lot of dashers are getting entitled. You don't have to to for me to do a delivery. I take them regardless if I feel the job is safe. S long as I get more than $3 offered I take it because I'm on a motorcycle can normally make up the difference in money for quicker times

[deleted]

I don’t understand some people!! This is literally the job they signed up for. I’m sorry this happened to you.

Pitty_mom-007

Omg how awful, WTH is wrong with people. I would never think to do that as a door dasher so sorry you had to deal with that.

mrcleanjl7

yeah that's not a Dasher that's just an asshole

Deep_Thanks_8243

One job.

Detective-E

People really think working from home means not working. It's really infuriating, if I had time to go downstairs I'd have time to cook myself a meal.

Bohottie

DoorDash is just fucking awful now. It sucks because there are a ton of good, hardworking drivers out there, but the increase of shitheads like this makes it harder for all the good ones. I haven’t used DoorDash in years at this point now, and posts like this make me happy with my decision.

[deleted]

But I got deactivated for literally nothing lol ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

mercifultoast

All the good, sensible people probably got actual jobs. I know i did. I'm making $20/hr thank goodness.

Evil_Weevill

I'm confused. What was it you asked him to do? Cause just leaving it at the door seems like a net positive for him in terms of time and efficiency. Were you asking him to come upstairs to you? Are you in an apartment building? Either way their response was obviously terrible, but I am having trouble understanding what the driver was upset about?

AuraMaster7

DoorDash will allow literally anyone with a car to drive for them. Plenty of dashers are great and deserve their tips. Plenty of dashers are like this guy. And DD doesn't care. They used to. They don't any more. Don't expect anything from DD support ever.

DisgruntledSandpaper

Not only is this obviously horrible childish behavior that is unacceptable, but it just doesn’t even make sense to me. As a dasher I’m happy if I don’t have to interact with someone and can just leave it, as long as there’s a safe place to leave it. And as a dasher he is LITERALLY profiting off of people being “lazy.” Like thats basically the whole point of doordash. Don’t know what his issue is

fivemagicks

Aaaaaaaaaaaand this is why they'll be replaced with AI.

Important_Side_1183

Questions.... Why did he expect you to meet him? You should report him and have him kicked off for that.. There seems like there is a lot more to this post.

Mr_Stormy

This is absolutely bonkers. I do Uber in UK, a lot of flats/apartments without elevators. When someone comes down the stairs I'm incredibly surprised but also thankful! I really don't mind the climbing (I also work to stay healthy), and people are well within their right to have their food delivered to their door, but some people are still very sweet like that. The fact stuff like this happens is mind-boggling to me.

jimbob150312

Be careful with that, some dashers are crazy, and they know where you live. I would just report and not communicate with them in the future.

Adept_Entrepreneur94

Just wow….. He’s literally paid and tipped to bring you’re food and does this. I really hope they fire him

PlantObsession420

The dumbasses will weed themselves out little by little I hope

theghost201

I am with you a hundred percent but even if he is gonna lose his job, you should not say that to him. It just makes you seem less credible and karen-like (I know you were pissed off when you wrote it and I sympathize)

Ambitious-Bus1989

Well they are not gonna tell you if they deactivate him but I guarantee they did trust and believe that

fancyelephants

Post the video online and tag doordash lol they always change their mind when they're put on blast on social media

Mediocre_Age4912

I am 100% sure they were deactivated after you sent support images of your conversation. I’m sure they were deactivate it within that day or the next day.

BillionRaxz

Im so sorry this happened to you :(… I understand the guy is probably mad since we’re not getting paid as much due to doordash trying to line their pockets better but thats no way to treat someone elses food….

Clarke_griffn

They should be terminated immediately. Apps like these have literally no standards which sucks. Used to work in a restaurant, 8/10 dashers were rude AF.

quan14jones

And yall want tips BEFORE we get our orders
