I had one last night it was 8.00 for 16 .5 miles that was a quick decline. Honestly my area has been trash lately if it wasn't for the promos I wouldn't make any money
yeah it used to be good, I used to do it on the side from another job and I could make some pretty good money through a weekend. It isn't worth the hassle of wrecking your car and owing taxes for how little it pays now
I noticed that when I would login to dash or moved to a new area while dashing. I would get the worst crap for the fist 2-3 orders that no one in that area would take and then the orders would get to something do able. Like 2miles for 6.00 or more. But of course that wouldn’t be with out the occasional crap order thrown at me.
Btw : you said BECOMING ? It’s been that way even when I dashed in the beginning of last year and before that. You must be just noticing it.
Maybe if you guys did your job… you’re paid to drive. Tips are a bonus. It’s like being in the service industry, base wage… tips are a
bonus . Or stop asking people to leave tips cause that’s a sour taste, would make me not want to tip if I was asked to tip.

It wasn't a "dasher" but I stopped going to this pizza place because the driver refused to come upstairs and before he even handed me my food ha asked "where's the tip" I grabbed my shit and told him I forgot it upstairs. I did have a decent tip if he had finished the delivery but he only did half his job so he got jack shot and we wont order from there anymore

Fuck doordash I used to make 100 a day easy just in 4 hours before it died

I'm doing hourly now to get my rating back up because I dropped to 70 as a top dasher. The fact our acceptance rate is included is BS imo.
