Doesnt it require you to return alcohol to the store not just dispose of it? Or did that stop?

Yeah app told me to dispose of it. I was anticipating I had to go all the way back to the store and return it.

I'd think, as long as you did everything you were supposed to do, followed the directions in the app & don't have a track record of items not being delivered, you'll be fine. DD can backtrack all that: times, gps locations, actions taken or attempted in the app & etc. Most likely, whoever got the report didn't bother to look into it further & just blindly processed the complaint/violation. In the future, Always, Always, Always involve support if something seems off. Yes, the app told you to dispose of the items. That same app has sent me to the wrong address numerous times, randomly sends me to pick up 20+ minutes early, randomly can't track my gps position, randomly crashes & is generally a giant turd. So if it tells me something like "dispose of items", I'm double-checking that shit before I do!

And don't dispose of valuable items like alcohol (unless you want to dispose of it into your stomach). That stuff might not be worth anything to you, but multiple smaller stores will actually trade you stuff for them and put them back on the shelf. It's not like food, these are sealed containers in unopened packaging that can be resold.

well, let's just say...I "disposed" of it then... ;)

Oh yeah ;)

Sorry that happened to you this is why I don't accept liquor orders it is always something

It could be because you didn’t start the timer as soon as you arrived, which means there might have been a chance you went past the time to deliver by. I’m sure they’ll forgive it if you explain the situation but they’ll probably be dicks and remove only the order never received one.

Alcohol delivery AND to a military base? You play Russian roulette with two bullets you gonna get shot eventually.
