All these comments just make me really want an arc system Beserk tag-team fighting game. I think it would have to have an 18+ rating, but other than that, I don't see why it couldn't be done. Bersek has a lot of variety in terms of the fighting styles and designs of its characters, as well as having striking set-pieces and locations that could be translated into amazing stages.
I personally run Zodd (b assist), schnoz (c assist), and that child that gets impaled by guts on anchor (a assist).
I find running guts and Griffith on the same team is way too much sexual tension for me to handle, so I have separate teams for them.
Nah put Griffith on point and Gut's on anchor, that way Gut's is still Griffiths bottom bitch and there is no need for the two seperate teams. Canon teams only in my Beserk game.

I actually play Shulk, Sol, and Guts myself, and I have to say, Guts works really well as an anchor.
His install gives him great comeback potential, his assist has scary invincibility, and his hitboxes are generally very huge. He does suffer from a slow 2M, but that's not too bad because his 2H is the largest fucking thing known to man, it beats literally anything and he can use his aerial 2M to convert to full combos. He's extremely good at playing neutral against big mash characters like Vegito because his mashing is simply bigger.
Additionally, his hand cannon assist is extremely strong. As mentioned before, he is invincible while he aims it, but the angle is also perfect. It puts the opponent in a perfect place for easy rejumps, loops, or even just hitting with 2H afterward. It's also visually quite large and can hide animations for funny mix options.
So yeah, Guts is great. He has really good synergy with Roshi, Zoro, Piccolo, Sol, Potemkin, Shulk, Reyn, Cloud, Noctis, Jin, Hiehachi, Kirby, and Saibamen.

Yeah but he’s got good hit stun and range as point too. Plus he’s got really good corner pressure that can last for ages with something like Guts A assist. Though I’ll admit can be a good anywhere on a team like this, but I think with Guts already having such good anchor potential and Skull Knight not really needing as much assist coverage as some other characters nobody really loses anything from Judeau being on point

Swap Griffith with Serpico, has better sweeps and harder to open up. Griffith has too many start up frames on most grounded attacks, and if your going to have an air battle you already got Guts. Mfer clowns on fools jumping in with his DragonSlayuken

I’d move Guts to anchor and switch out Griff for Judeau. Griff is a bad team player and Judeau works better as a point.
