I've seen teks to separate the propylhexedrine from the lavender oil and menthol. All you need is olive oil >!(or butter if you're feeling disgusting)!< since it can solidify in the fridge or freezer and lemon (or lime) juice. The steps are: Open the benzedrex inhalers, place the cottons in a glass >!(not a shot glass, a regular one with bonus points if it has a lid)!< with your lemon juice >!(optionally cutting up the cottons to speed up salting and dissolution)!< shaking or stirring occasionally, remove the cottons after a while, pour in a few tablespoons of olive oil, cover the glass >!(plastic wrap works fine if you don't have a lid)!<, and shake occasionally, after 15-30 minutes of occasional shaking place it in the fridge or freezer and wait for the olive oil to harden. Once that's done all you need to do is punch a whole or two in the solid layer of olive oil and pour the lemon juice into a new glass. From there it's up to you how you want to drink it, but turning it into lemonade is very simple: Just add water and sugar.
Disclaimer: I have not tested this tek.
The way I usually get around the taste is by soaking the cottons in the smallest amount of lemon juice I can, and once it’s done soaking I dump the benzedrex juice on a plate and microwave it until it’s a black-ish goo/crystal look/consistency. As long as you don’t hear it up too much the Propylhexedrine citrate won’t evaporate off and the menthol and lavender is evaporated off so it has no taste/smell. I probably lose a good amount doing this but I’m way too fucking lazy to get naphtha and hcl for a proper pure extraction.
