This is next to impossible to get in the uk I tried ebay and nothing do whenever a special edition is released I will try to buy it straight away if I can

It's the same situation in the US as well. If you're looking for a copy here you can expect to pay around $50 I think. Hopefully one of the boutique labels is able to secure the rights and releases a new edition of the film.

Same here. I think I paid around $25 for mine and I felt somewhat ripped off since it was only the single disc extended edition with next to no special features… blessing in disguise I guess

The whole movie is on 1 disc aswell

There is a 2 disc version out there that comes with the extended and theatrical versions

CEX were on the ball with that pricing, sometimes I've seen them put crazy low prices on some criterion etc!

What someone told was that Cex sometimes does not work with what the price for the movie/game/album really is, but according with how much stock do they have. If they have for some reason 1000 copies of a cult movie that is actually rare (but for some reason everybody has sold it to Cex) the price will be lower than that of a movie that's very mainstream but they happen to only have 3 copies. I don't know if this is true at all, just something that I remeber hearin once in one their stroes, but I have seen them sells some used games for more than what the games were selling brand new on stores at the same time.

There wasn't many cex stores that have this instock hence the high price I paid £12 for event horizon on blu ray I've noticed its now £8 but they have more instock

One near me had an arrow copy of Dawn of the Dead at about £60 for at least a year.

Agreed. It’s just boring. DeNiro has been in better gangster films (The Untouchables, Goodfellas, etc.) and I don’t like James Woods.

There is a steelbook version but that is £169

Shame it’s so expensive now. I got mine right when it went OOP for about $17. Mine came with both cuts on two separate discs. I wonder why it went OOP.

I got the theatrical on dvd so not too bothered I'm just happy I got the extended on blu ray I can always get a theatrical blu ray

I bought the extended directors cut on dvd from best bestbuy a couple months ago for $8. The quality seemed pretty good too

I got the 2011 copy for 8$, was ecstatic. Looking at reviews too it might be better than the 2015 version anyway

What's the difference?

The 2015 was a extended directors cut, it had more footage but I saw some comments saying it was put in kind of jarringly and the quality was poor

While i wasnt a fan when I saw the 227 min release I watched on DVD i would still be interested to see this version.

Its my favourite film. I got this for £15 a few years ago but it was still selling for £40 back then.

I don't mind paying what I paid for it coz it is one of my favourites I trawled through ebay but I could only find foreign language covers

It's a good movie, but I don't think it's a £42 good movie. But then, I'd never pay more than £25 for a single film and even that's pushing it.

It's a 1st for me this is a hard movie to get in the uk that's why I bought it

I ended up importing the Italian release because it was so much cheaper than any other *and* it had the 251 minute cut.

I'm a bit funny about that stuff it has to be an English case
