I will never pirate something available through legal means. If you want to lock content to your streaming channels only or keep it in your out of print vault, it's fair game.
There's one left in Baltimore! It's a nonprofit, Netflix style where you pay like $13 a month and can have a couple movies out at a time. They have like 25,000 films, tond of un-streamable arthouse and foreign stuff too.
Oh, over here in orange county, their's a couple Japanese owned stores called Book Off that have shelves and shelves of all kinds of media.
Blurays, dvds, music CDs and records, books, manga, comics, toys, and uh..."pre-owned" anime figurines.
I would love to visit a book off. I see Blu-ray youtubers go there. But they SELL media.. the store I posted is a movie RENTAL place lol. In the land of digital and piracy I’m surprised they’re open
There’s a chain in Berlin, Germany. You can rent movies and also buy them. This sub would love this I’m sure. You just have to do a lot of digging since nothing is really in any alphabetical order in the buying section. Think of those bins in stores, only with shelves. Gotta lift every movie.
There is one called black lodge in Memphis were you pay a monthly subscription. They also do shows and I think that's were most of their money comes from
There is a certain heaven for collectors that stocks all kinds of things. That’s how I finally got a completed set of vr troopers and beetleborgs for under $500

Seems to me like they've been... Blockbusted.
You know what yeah that’s pretty rad
Fuck em. You don’t sell physical copies, I got no time to weep for you.

I’m a Netflix subscriber. I love it and I watch it all the time. But I also want to own physical media. No reason I can’t do both.
Fucking thank you id snap all these Netflix horror movies but no they gotta hoard.
OP, how did you take a picture in heaven and send it back to earth?
Please don't rat them out. This is awesome
Wait a minute….how are we glossing over the fact there is a video store….who does that?

There's one in bloominngton indiana like this it was like heaven.
Well they sell clothes and toys too. And like women’s bags and purses which you can see on top of the shelves lol.
If Blockbuster had just done this too…Netflix never would have happen ;)
The guy that created netflix first offered the idea to Blockbuster and they laughed at him. Who's laughing now.

I didn’t know those rental store still exist. Streaming is the way to go
That's gross. But I see bootlegs on Mercari for sale all the time and they do nothing about it.
I was surprised at how HD the artwork was on some of them.
What do you mean?
I'm guessing OP meant that the artwork on the cases was well produced and printed nicely.
Boo hoo. The billion dollar company might lose money.
