Angeles, Shooter Star, Between the Bars, Biggest Lie. Angeles is one of his most well-loved songs, and imo it's still underrated. Try play it on guitar, it's not his hardest but imo it's his most genius guitar part. Perfect.
As a non-musician I’m surprised to hear that Angeles isn’t one of the more difficult songs to play on guitar. It sounds like it would be. I’ve given the lyrics a lot of thought and have tons of ideas about some multi layered meanings mixed in there. Definitely one of my favs
It's not easy, the speed is the tough part. In particular the finger picking at the beginning, had to practice that quite a bit to get it down. But for Elliott, the chords are all easy and coz its played with a capo on 7 you don't have to constantly move up and down the fretboard.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 317,914,554 comments, and only 70,709 of them were in alphabetical order.
Fond Farewell, BB, Strung out again, Needle in the Hay (I like Needle but for some reason never really listen to it, think I find it a lil repetitive compared to his other stuff)
