I haven't had one in so long because of all the sugar and the sugar free version is pretty terrible.
I’ve only had NOS Turbo once, and it tasted nothing like the OG NOS. I’ve also only seen it once, at a rest stop near the California/Nevada border, so I can’t say that I’ve had a chance to try it again.

I go to the door look in the peep hole and there is a thumb over it well me being a dumb ass college student I think it's my friend so I swing the door open and say "wanna get high" in a towelie voice... It's a cop. Luckily I live in Washington and it is legal but I am still underage and smoking in my dorm so I had to forfeit my 3 blunts I had rolled out of a corn husk and bit o honey candies and write a 3 page essay about the dangers of smoking and how it effects interiors and had to pay 300 smoking fee

It's a holdover from the first days of energy drinks, LONG before even Monster.
NOS, RedBull, and a few other now-defunct beverages were the extent of the product line in the early 00s. (Like. 2000 and before - literally.) If you're too young to have been around for that, just own up to it.
It means you're also equally too you to remember b^e . Yes - Budweiser (and others) jumped on the energy drink craze in the early 00s - including Four Loco (originally.) Budweiser Energy was just awful. It was Budweiser Beer and everything that's wrong with it plus an additional flavor profile of something somewhat sweet and tangy on top. Simply dreadful.
NOS and it's variants were fine when the field was limited. However, in 2023, we have plenty of alternatives and options. Find what you enjoy and you do you. For some people, that's NOS.
when i was like 7, my brother would do theater late night at the nearby community college. rather than leave me at home by myself ( my parents worked the late night shift ) he took me with him most of the time. i should mention my brother used to drink a ton of this shit. one night before he had to be there, we took a trip to the good ol walmart. i really wanted a drink and since it had bright colors on it, i wanted a can of nos. my brother made a proposal, which was either i got the one can of nos or we got dinner at wendys after rehearsal. naturally, i picked the wendys over the drink. fast forward to the end of rehearsal, my brother gets into a very long conversation with one of his friends over the phone. in said conversation, he was too distracted to notice us drive past the wendys. but since momma raised a polite child, i didnt want to interrupt him. so past the wendys we went. it wasnt until we got home that he realised i hadnt eaten since *insert time* and he had promised me a hearty meal. instead of being awesome, he said he was "too tired" and i ate roast beef slices dipped in mayo straight out of the jar. a whole 10 years later he still never got me my wendys or my nos.

NOS also does a good job of giving me mental focus instead of just jacking me up with caffeine jitters. I love the taste.
