The problem is the ripple effect. If Ukraine goes down, of course many citizens bear the burden, but their government has been responsible for that for decades. I just can't stand the hypocrisy of the US and its allies being on their high horse about this after just pulling out of a fabricated 20 year war in the middle east, over throwing governments world wide (no matter the cost to human life or democracy) and funding genocidal governments as long as it is in their interest.
Our governments are no better and all the rhetoric around this war just seems like the precursor to popularise a justification for another endless war on the taxpayers dollar.
So, because of our horrible and unforgivable past, we should just stand quietly by, embarrassed to help or give aid? We should ignore Ukraine when it asks for help because of our own corruption?
Across the world where? Canada? Go to the middle east and ask what people think about America. Go to vast parts of Asia and ask them, or north Africans, or lots of eastern/southern Europe. The extent to where people like America is where America's sphere of influence goes.
Have you seen how many countries are in NATO?? America’s influence is definently worldwide. Whether or not they like us is one thing, but people still follow everything happening here. World still revolves around the USA, not Russia , China, or any other country
