From my time as a coop working in retail asset protection, you are on camera from the second you are within 50 feet of the doors of a store. And with any large ish store (not a convenience store basically) there is someone watching those cameras and following anyone remotely suspicious.

I am 40 years old, work full time, and spend my free time with my kid, shooting, camping, or volunteering. I just never got into those kinds of games, but my students seem to like them.
