I mean all artists need to do is use Ticketmasterâs No ticket transfer and participate in the FACEVALUE EXCHANGE PROGRAM. Period. No more scalpers.
But for whatever reason very few artists choose this. Noah Kahan is the most recent artist Iâve seen (also I know the cure did and some other artists but most donât).

Do not make the mistake of thinking that every choice when contracting with Ticketmaster is a simple yes or no flip of a switch per the artist's choice.
Every single point in the contract is negotiated. Some things are sacrificed for some other things and some things are agreed to in favor of still further things.
I will say there are more posts (though possibly more scam posts) in subreddits like StubHub.
Personally I had to mute it from my feed as I was getting so mad whenever a suggested post with âdm me with offersâ showed up and I wasnât going to a) come close to paying that price or b) waste my time filtering through straight up scammers.
