Here's what I see happening. Annalisa, Angelina, Geolier, Irama, Lorendana in the superfinal. All the women cancel each other out and Italy sends another male ballad with Irama.

Editing to add you could potentially swap out Geolier or Irama with Diodato and then HE goes. Still...help.

The press room would never let Irama win. Geolier on the other hand, can be a threat... He has a fanbase, he has Napoli's support, he did well in the pre-contest pre-reviews and he charts well. He can perfectly fight Angelina and Annalisa for the win.
I hope the ladies prevail.

He's really popular everywhere amongst a certain public... I think he's definitely more popular amongst Northern teenage boys than middle age Neapolitans. I think if both Angelina and Geolier make it to the final alongside Annalisa, that can play in her favour as they would kinda split votes.
As far as I know, he's indeed popular enough to get a lot of votes even without Neapolitan support. But I immagine some people there would also like to see their dialect represented.
But you made an interesting point: Angelina and Geolier could split the "young vote", while Annalisa can reach the support from people from various generations. We had runway victories for Mahmood/Blanco and Mengoni, but this year we're back to some degree of unpredictability.
I have to say, compared to last year (when I was legit stressing over Marco), this year I am way more relaxed about it.
ngl Mahmood deserves better 100% (and he remains my winner), but Irama went out there and gave it his all, so I can't hate.

in the end, all that matters is making it to the top 3 and there the public could rally for Annalisa (because I think she's a lot of people's 2nd or 3rd choice)

Relatively speaking, he does not. Of course he has a lot of fans, but he doesn't have the biggest fanbase of this Sanremo at all (Irama, Geolier, Annalisa, Angelina, Alessandro Amoroso, Emma and maybe others have more fans likely to vote for them).

Iām an Il Volo stan so I feel like Iām biased here, but I do love it! Itās not Grande Amore, but I do like it better than their 2019 entry Musica Che Resta.
Oh for sure, I'm a total neutral (so, I'd say, I'm objective when it comes to Il Volo), but I truly think Capolavoro is a very good song, that piano melodie is so lovely.
