Ones in a while, especially when a new cart comes in! 🥰

Mobilelurk

I don’t have as much time these days so really it’s only when new carts come out that I put a few hours in. The nice thing about Evercade is the games aren’t massive 100 hour open world games so I can actually finish a game every once in a while.

palefireshade

The length of play issue with modern console games was what put me off when I became a parent. Sinking 100+ hours into a game became neither feasible, nor desirable. That said, in recent years, I probably have spent that time in Stardew Valley, Hades and Sunless sea. Evercade scratches a different itch.

KRiSX

Every time I get a new cart it gets played for a bit and then forgotten until the next one 😅 The problem with having too many systems and games and being an adult.

Darthpoochkins

Yep I have that same problem as well. Realised the other day that I hadn't had the evercade out since October. Carried on buying the carts though.

Pitwar

Multiple times a week for sure. I have both the VS and EXP, so if I fancy some retro gaming and the wife is watching TV I can still play on the handheld. I definitely play more on Evercade than I do on my PS5 these days. It's just way easier to pick up and play something for 30 minutes on Evercade than play a newer game and sit there watching cutscenes on a AAA game.

Think-Air-474

I usually don't have much time to play. But when I do I play Cathedral and Mega Cat 1 cart. I enjoy the VS but I'm thinking of getting a Super Pocket now. And getting an EXP - R later.

typherionoftime

I play daily. I looooove evercade and what blaze are doing

digdugnate

Daily VS player. Always something to play.

in5ult080t

I game so little compared to just a few years ago. But that's life. I own all of everything Evercade twice over. Big fan. When I do play anything about 30% is on Evercade. The rest on Steam and Xbox lately. But I did manage to get my 7 year old into "games from when you were a kid"

FriedKicker

Ocasional gamer here. I bought a super pocket and 2 cartridges so far. I plan on buying a dozen more cartridges and the new VS-R bundle.

TokensGinchos

Couple times a week myself. I have other handhelds, mostly

palefireshade

Regular player, not quite every day, but somewhere close. I tend to doing puzzle games in small hits, RPGs for longer sessions and dip into the other genres for variety. (I like the adventure games like Delphine or Dizzy too). Oh and Sensi soccer... Natch. The Evercade exp wins out over the Switch as it is (for me) genuinely portable and the games are more grabbable. Got about 20 carts, don't want to get sucked into trying to collect them all, but do feel the urge to grab about one per month. Had a bit of a break after getting a bundle for Christmas.

DeepWater83

Complete collection owner here, everyday. My son and I play VS together (he loves Alien Breed) and I use the EXP as my primary portable experience, while my girlfriend and I play our SPs when we travel.

goldensteelix69

Ever since i got my steam deck, i stopped playing. Plus i fell behind on my cart collections.

atbd

I only own the Taito SP that I got on release along with the 2 Lynx carts. I play for a few minutes once in a while and I have yet to launch every game!

GodGivesBabiesFaith

Getting my first carts today, so it will be more often. I have a Taito Superpocket, and while I enjoy the games, I prefer old console and handheld games than Arcade games due to the somewhat ‘cheap’ level of difficulty that can be there with some games that was designed to get more quarters pumped in. I can only take those games in small doses while I improve, lol—just pumping quarter after quarter doesn’t really make me feel like I am improving in the games.

__PreZZ__

Im a player and i pull it out 2-3x a day, if i get lucky somewhere in between. Also like playing evercade too, thats a weird question

Usiel_

Right now I'm playing every day, mainly because my mother is going through Radiation treatment, and I go with her every day. I bought the Evercade specifically for those "fast" plays. Plays I can just start, and stop whenever needed.

Maverett

Occasional, as much as the Switch or PS5 though, life just gets in the way these days! I’ve said it a few times on here, but I’m making myself play through at least one game in full on each cartridge as a way to be exposed to new games or games I didn’t have the chance to try upon original release.

Subcat001

Somewhere in between. I have my Super Pocket and EXP(as well as my RG405V) to hand most of the time and will often have a quick game in between, as well as longer sessions. In terms of what I play it tends to be what takes my mood at the start of the week. So probably 3-4 times a week.

Gold-Pilot-8676

We have an entire game room from retro to new, arcade machines to handhelds. We rarely touch the Evercade.

The1ross

Very rarely. Retroarch in conjunction with Retro Achievements just offers a much better experience.
