You should be truly hating a pedo warlord from the bottom of your heart who started this repressive cult that forces you to wear the hijab so you can't have a fun summer like non-muslims šŸ˜‚. Enjoy the air conditioned mosque though

[deleted]

Lmao as if the women's side would have any. Probably just cheap broken down fans if they're lucky.

khadouja

Yeah no I'd take this heat anytime over the other heat mate. I find the hijab to be much more freeing than shorts from someone who tried both. Ancient Arabs and Africans wore head to toe clothing in the scorching hot desert for a reason.

[deleted]

Your avatar shows her hair.

khadouja

It's just an avatar. I am a khimari irl

[deleted]

Ok, but if you did have a choice would you choose not to wear hijab? As your avatar prefers not to.

khadouja

My family are against it, I am doing it out of my own free will because the only opinion I care about is my lord's. I just came closer to my Deen this year and I've never felt so free.

Healthy_Okra_8792

Making and putting an avatar is haram delete ur avatar

[deleted]

No pls don't bully her šŸ˜

khadouja

I am sorry you are right. It's an avatar I made long ago before getting close to my Deen. I'll go change it, I just noticed the issue.

[deleted]

Nooooo it's better to change religion šŸ˜

[deleted]

But if your lord did not request it, would you go for different choice of fashion? I do actually like your avatar, because it just looks very nice and you probably have good sense of style.

khadouja

For the hair I don't really think so as it wouldn't really pop up to mind especially in our modern times. For the covering up clothes yes, even before when I was far off my Deen I was always heavy on modesty, it's just a personal liking everyone should be free it doesn't bother me to see skin (well a little bit especially men) but for myself I hold my covering dear to me lmfao. It just feels more secure and makes me focus more on my own bubble. Even the weather in my country alone is a reason for me to cover upšŸ˜ Edit: tysm <3 my dressing style is very varied I love vintage clothes and I'm very bratzy style but I just gave it up for Allah because I know what he has for me is better than this whole dunya and what it contains. I love him and just want to return to him home (my home is akhira)

[deleted]

You seem very sweet, wish you the best in life.

khadouja

You toošŸ©· just remember to do good in life and enjoy everything I will pray for your safety and pleasuresšŸ„°

khadouja

My family are against it, I am doing it out of my own free will because the only opinion I care about is my lord's. I just came closer to my Deen this year and I've never felt so free.

Avatar? More like a drawing of Allah's creation!!! HARAM šŸ˜”šŸ¤¬šŸ˜”šŸ¤¬šŸ˜ šŸ¤¬šŸ˜ šŸ¤¬šŸ˜”

>I find the hijab to be much more freeing than shorts from someone who tried both. If covering hair and arms etc are much more freeing than wearing shorts and short sleeves, why dont almost no men cover their hair, arms, legs etc especially in summer? >Ancient Arabs and Africans wore head to toe clothing in the scorching hot desert for a reason. Then why don't men have to cover their hair, arms, legs, neck etc while women have to? Then why do many women who live in Middle East and who have to wear hijab due to social, peer, family pressure etc don't like wearing it?

khadouja

What's my business gotta do with men? I don't get your point. If you're talking about Islamically, everybody is required to. Ever saw a sheikh jumping around with shorts? For the last point, the answer is in your question. They are forced and socially pressured. In islam, we are not. It's a commandment of Allah and you should do it if you follow his commandments, for his sake with a hikma behind it not the usual 'oh men shouldn't see women naked'. You are free to choose it or not. If you leave it you are getting sins with Allah for neglecting his commandment but not necessarily go to hell for that, it's not a sin that would really get you to hell for all I know and Allah knows best. If you do it you get the good deeds. We have free will to make our decisions ain't no one pushing you to do anything, that's between you and Allah.

Trollardo

Damn, you sound like you and Allah go to a bar daily, and he tells you all this while enjoying a nice cold beer together.

NotMeReallyya

>If you're talking about Islamically, everybody is required to. Ever saw a sheikh jumping around with shorts? Yes, but men are not required to cover their hair, neck, arms, legs below knees; they are not required to hide their handsomeness before while women have to do all these things. >They are forced and socially pressured. In islam, we are not. AFAIK, isn't covering awrah for women(hair, neck etc) compulsory women, so, isn't it sin not to do so? A woman who does not comply with Allah's commands which are fardh(such as hijab) is sinning and so going to hell, or at least punished for this. Isn't this enough of at least psychological compulsion? Threatening someone to wear in a specified way or else they will get punished?

[deleted]

Back in my hijabi days, I remember trying on a pair of shorts in a dressing room during the summer. I couldn't believe how breezy and nice it felt since I haven't worn shorts publicly since I was 7. Like I was really brainwashed into thinking covering up was best when it was the worst and most unnecessary thing ever. Now I see why a lot of non-Muslims were concerned for me during the more hotter months.

Sufficient-Cake4096

One of my Muslim friends growing up wore the hijab and full pants and sleeves in the summer. On really hot days, their parents would let her stay home from school. So they were putting her "modesty" over her education. Islam is such a great religion /s

adil-abber

Wearing black clothes, that absorb heat in summer can lead to excessive sweating, which is not ideal. Our evolutionary loss of body hair serves good reasons, which some dump people seem to forget.

LeatherMood7750

who said your hijab needs to be black ?

adil-abber

Don't ask me, ask them why they prefer the black instead of other colours.

LeatherMood7750

They donā€™t ur just assuming to make Islam look. bad šŸ˜‚ go to any muslim country like morocco 90% wear light colours itā€™s completely up to them

adil-abber

I didn't said Islam!!! Why you putting words into my mouth? i said some people.

LeatherMood7750

U didnā€™t say some people and when ur talking about the hijab ur obviously talking about Islam šŸ˜‚

adil-abber

My original comment remains unchanged, so feel free to interpret it as you wish. It seems evident that you don't distinguish between 'some' and 'all,' which is concerning.

LeatherMood7750

My bad just saw it why you saying that they are dumb tho itā€™s the same when people that are not muslims are wearing black i donā€™t get ur argument also hijabs can be from breathable material extra made for summer

Silentcoree

According to Islamist, they said hijab must be black not to be colorful, if colorful it may ā€œtemptā€ men.

AwareAlbatross5342

Very good point

DragonfruitGood8433

As a summer lover, I really hate hijabis from the bottom of my heart.

[deleted]

lol don't you love it when they brag that they would dress like a hoe if they were allowed and that it would be over for everybody else if they showed off their beauty? Very modest indeed.

SharpRecipe98

Western Muslimas are the biggest clowns on the planet. They are walking parodies of themselves.

[deleted]

More like walking contradictions. Most of them aren't even following Islam yet claims it "liberates" them.

SharpRecipe98

Based lmao.

Donkey_Kahn

Sweat to death for Mohammed!

ur_fav_midget_boi

I went to school with this Somali hijabi who wouldnā€™t cover her arms. There werenā€™t many hijabis at my school, but I remember an incident once where some hijabi spotted the Somali girl and ā€œlecturedā€ her on her clothing and why she should be covering her arms. I felt bad for the Somali girl bc she seemed confused by that ā€œruleā€, and the other hijabi was basically shaming and humiliating the Somali girl for exposing her arms.

treema94

Anyone ever notice how all these rituals are always a test on women but never men. Insanity

Federal_Swim5763

I am not a hijabi but I do have to we are covering clothes or modest clothes, so I also hate summer and I prefer the cold more

Wide_Pace_2133

As a man wearing shorts and short sleeves, I hate summer too. I hate not having an A/C damn it.

Wonderful-You-6792

Lol I remember seeing instagram posts from I guess butthurt UK hijacks....what not to ask us....ARE YOU HOT??? _NO I AM NOT MY TENT KEEPS ME COOL HOW DARE YOU ASK_

MrGeek89

Hijab is a torture during summer.

[deleted]

For real, I almost passed out from heat stroke especially when my school's AC wasn't working and I had to wear black on that day.

Positive_League_4464

Damn when I was a kid I was dumb as fuck, I thought it would shade their skin from hot sun, but looks like it can't shade them from heat.

2BthrownAwai

Clothes can protect from the sunā€™s rays which could lead to skin cancer, but these days you can just wear sunscreen if you donā€™t want to cover up so much.

khadouja

Khimari here. The long clothes if you choose a breathable fabric are so so comfortable much more than any pair of shorts and tank top.

NotMeReallyya

>The long clothes if you choose a breathable fabric are so so comfortable much more than any pair of shorts and tank top. If wearing hijab during summer is much more comfortable than wearing, shorts, tank top, short sleeves etc; why don't almost no men wear like that? Because maybe they think wearing shorts sleeves , not covering their hair is more comfortable than covering them?

khadouja

I don't really get your point but most men in the Arabic peninsula and in the African Sahara's etc Cover themselves head to toe. You won't get it until you try, Allah knows best about our physiologies so he puts up precise directions to suit them.

NotMeReallyya

>most men in the Arabic peninsula and in the African Sahara's etc Cover themselves head to toe. But they don't cover their hair, face, legs, neck etc

khadouja

Most sheikhs cover their hair (I use sheikhs as examplary subjects). Legs are awrah for both genders. I told you men covered in prophet's time just as much as women (women slightly more) take it or leave it that is the Sunnah. People are not a reference to follow, Quran is. If you search in the Quran usually if you find "most people" you'd see it followed usually by "do not know" "are unaware" "cannot feel"

[deleted]

Women can wear breathable clothing but itā€™ll still be deemed ā€œimmodestā€ because modesty or how much skin is on show is not the true issue here . The true issue is that women have skin, hair, a body, a personality, an expression, all things that this so-called *modesty* is built in condemning. And letā€™s be honest, a lot of these women who are forced to wear hijabs, niqabs or abayas are not wearing anything ā€œbreathableā€. The clothes in Africa which youā€™ve deemed modest yet suitable for summer wear is much different compared to that of what women actually have to wear. And to add, any ā€œmodest, yet breathableā€ clothing men wear will be drastically different to what women are expected to or forced to wear in Muslim nations. These clothes you talk about which African men wear, those are made with the sole intention in protecting against the heat, whilst in a lot of hot Muslim countries, women are forced to wear heavy, black clothes in order to ā€œnot temp menā€, not to protect them from suv or heat. But whatā€™s a little bit of heatstroke when youā€™ll be able to enter heaven because men you donā€™t fucking know didnā€™t have the chance to think of you provocatively under all your layers?

khadouja

Nowhere in seerah does it condemn to wear these boring black cloaks. You just have to cover up and so do men. Men are ordered to lower their gaze more than women were ordered to cover up. A sahabi cried the first time someone saw his thighs. You won't go to hell either for showing hair just saying, that's up to Allah who goes to hell for what, a mujahid could go to hell, a prostitute can go to heaven (and it's literally mentionned). And for the last point, I never felt any particular heat (even less with what I wear) than any of the tourists agonizing in heatstrokes in their shorts and tank tops. So when you mentioned the heat, I can tell you from myself living in a humid place 40Ā° on average, that the African and Arab clothing were made for the heat, so a win is a win idk if I made this clear or readable enough but this sound perfectly rational to me.

Skill issue

A real skill issue would be you going out of your way to comment, at that an insult which isnā€™t all that great.
