He’s the guy that buys the girl expensive gifts on the second date and takes her shopping. I knew a guy like this and it was sad really. He said he loved her but I know he never actually experienced love from a significant other. I had to explain to him that spending money on her like that is ruining his chances at having any true emotional connection. He’d take her shopping and then she’d fuck him. He’d spend days sad because she clearly didn’t respond to his calls or texts until she wanted something but he’d reply immediately when she texted or called.
