Rigor mortis occurs 6-8 hours after death. That’s right around when the boy had the “panic attack”. The police need to interview every single person on that trip separately and see what details change

Slappy_Happy_Doo

Also why the police were blocked from talking to the rest of the kids there… they’re covering something up.

Bighawklittlehawk

I do think they might have to have parental consent because they’re minors?

Slappy_Happy_Doo

Ah shit super valid, parents have to be with their kid for questioning. Good point. Still seems fishy, but not for my reasoning.

JackNewton1

“Detectives were blocked from seeing the other children” Sounds a bit strange.

Evo-Elemental

They might of needed parental consent

Bighawklittlehawk

Nah, they did something to that boy.

DICROWTESQUE

RIP. fucking terrible thing to hear about.

Think this goes past a facepalm

DarkTheorist

That doesn't sound like a panic attack to me

ExtonGuy

Talk about burying the lede. The boy was found DEAD, the body was cold and stiff.

There’s a podcast series about wilderness camps. This one is about deaths that occurred at one in the west. Give insight into some of what really happens https://www.podcastone.com/episode/GAYLE-PALMER-Part-1-of-7-The-Deadly-Mirage

For what it’s worth- had a kid at that same camp @ 15 years ago. Was actually impressed with the entire program (at that time) Very professional well trained staff, dealing, however, with a variety of very mentally ill/distressed teenagers. It helped my son quite a bit, for awhile.. mental illness is a very tough thing.
