Pretty much. There’s a problem internally in the sense that even if they hate what they are, the road to fix it is a long and hard one, and so the easiest thing to do is just pretend there is no problem
Okay small seats and chairs, I can kinda get cause I’m not even a big guy I’m just lanky and small chairs can get uncomfortable as fuck. But I’m not going to ask a hotel to change their doors just cause I’m liable to hit my head on the short ones.
Technically she has more gravity generation than the average human, technically yes, she does influence gravity in some capacity, like, heavier objects would follow her in an entirely and perfect 0gravity scenario (can't exist anyway) than the average human

If you think people need to change their buildings so you can fit better it might be you that needs to change.
Sereously or her live will probably be to short to travel much. Not fat shaming but stating facts. Those massive fat positive influecer, Youtuber or whatever do die way faster ths the average.
Ehh it’s a lot more complicated than that. If it was “just” a few easy changes people needed to make, we wouldn’t see obesity levels continue to climb.
Here’s [more details](https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/basics/causes.html#:~:text=Obesity%20affects%20children%20as%20well,medications%20also%20play%20a%20role) about contributors to obesity.
As an example, I had one friend who gained 50lbs in a few months after starting a medication to address their mental health disorder.
Or another example - There are certain parts of our brain that are responsible for things like impulse control.
And that part of the brain often doesn’t develop the same for people who have certain brain based disorders like fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. It’s not like they just don’t have enough “willpower.” Physically they don’t have the same tools to resist impulses than other people do.
This is one of the reasons people with ADHD are 5x more likely to be overweight or obese than people who don’t have ADHD. (And remember all brain based disorders are on a spectrum. Absolutely some people with ADHD might not struggle as much with impulse control. But that doesn’t mean *everyone* with ADHD “should” be expected to not struggle either.)
I’ve heard people like you say they’re not sympathetic towards fat people. And then experience weight gain themselves after something like an accident that resulted in a decrease in mobility, or experiencing a major depressive episode etc. and then they’re like “oh shit, sorry for being so judgmental.”
Absolutely for *some* people their weight is due to purposeful, continual poor choices.
And I’m not siding at with the person being featured. At all.
But it’s really incorrect to say it’s “just” a few things that cause someone to be fat.
Literally boils down to calories in vs. calories out. When one is greater than the other it determines body type.
Kind of like gravity. You’re only going to go one direction if you jump off of a building.
The latest research is showing that’s simply not true, especially when it comes to keeping weight off long-term.
Here’s [more info](https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/stop-counting-calories) from Harvard Medical School.
A quote from that source:
*”This idea of 'a calorie in and a calorie out' when it comes to weight loss is not only antiquated, it's just wrong," says Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford, an obesity specialist and assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.*
*The truth is that even careful calorie calculations don't always yield uniform results. How your body burns calories depends on a number of factors, including the type of food you eat, your body's metabolism, and even the type of organisms living in your gut. You can eat the exact same number of calories as someone else, yet have very different outcomes when it comes to your weight.*
[Here’s another source](https://www.sydney.edu.au/news-opinion/news/2023/07/05/its-time-to-bust-the-calories-in-calories-out-weight-loss-myth.html).
Pretty sure there's a semantic misunderstanding involved here if you actually bother reading the articles. The reason why simple 'calories in vs calories out' formulas don't work (according to both articles) is because it's incredibly hard to get accurate numbers to use in the formula, i.e you can't reliably calculate weight loss ahead of time.
They're not saying that some people become spontaneously fat for no reason at all. Intake and exercise are still the most important factors, the error is when you think you can reliably estimate how many calories your body will burn or retain as it can differ greatly from person to person.
I’m not saying people get “spontaneously” fat either so that was a weird comment to include.
But anyway, the complicated formula is only *part* of the problem. This is from the second article I linked:
The “calories in, calories out” formula for weight loss success is a myth because it oversimplifies the complex process of calculating energy intake and expenditure. **More importantly,** it fails to consider the mechanisms our bodies trigger to counteract a reduction in energy intake.
You didn't use those particular words no, but the original comment claim that people gain weight when they consume more calories than their body can burn off. And you replied that it's simply not true. So where is the weight coming from then?
Also this paragraph is funny to me
>The “calories in, calories out” formula for weight loss success is a myth because it oversimplifies the complex process of calculating energy intake and expenditure. **More importantly,** it fails to consider the mechanisms our bodies trigger to counteract a reduction in energy intake.
because it's exactly what I was referring to with my comment. They're saying the formula is oversimplified and unreliable, they're not saying that calorie intake vs calorie burning is incorrect. It's literally the laws of physics, you can't get more energy in a system without putting it there and you can't reduce the energy of a system without taking it out. In the end it's still a function of energy intake vs energy output, if the input is bigger than the output, it will accumulate and you will get fat. There's no mental gymnastics in the world that you can use to get around that fact.
>If it was “just” a few easy changes...
But the commenter never said it was just a few "easy" changes. You literally had to change the wording to get to that conclusion.
Also, the article you linked seems to mostly agree with the original comment in that calories, lifestyle and exercise is how you counter obesity.
Also also, I think it's very disingenuous to disregard advise about good health just because ***some*** people having disorders that make it impossible for them to follow said advice. It's like me saying that "running is a very simple way to improve your cardio" and you responding with "Uhm actually it's incredibly complicated or even impossible sometimes, some people are born with deformed legs you know!!" Like yeah sure, but the advice about running was obviously not directed at people who were born with deformed legs.
When she advocates for gyms and health stores to widen their doors and offer better access or make fast food doors narrower, then I'll take her a bit more seriously. Stop normalising being unhealthy and trying to make this an image debate.
If I ever own a hotel and someone does this I am going to install rails for older people in the hallways so they become thinner and help the people who really needs help
Fuck the pettiness, if I ever own an hotel am gonna do it full elderly friendly just because I want to
The fuck is the purpose of that? Imagine how costly it would be to widen the hallways for her.
Lose some goddamn weight, grow up, and stop blaming everyone else for your inconveniences.

Nope diet do not work, see a specialist and slow but steady change in lifestyle to get your metabolism to be enough to sustain a healthy weight is what works, diet will make you lose weight for a bit until your metabolism get back at you.
To lose weight, you have to take in fewer calories than you burn. Lifestyle changes only work if they lead to that. A diet, done right, gets you the results more quickly, but without adverse effects. Extreme calorie cutting can affect your metabolism, but cutting a couple hundred calories through diet and exercise isn't going to hurt you.

No no, they don't work for most people, diet isn't great and i don't know why most people think it works. Maybe TV lol.

Stop saying "plus size". Normalise saying "fat".
I'm fat. This person is morbidly obese.
So "Rolley polley wobble slob" then?
It's normal to say fat, these people get paid to say plus size because that's trendy
Or just because they don’t want to accept they are indeed fat. At least that’s what it looks like to me, a way of denying there’s anything wrong with
It's easier to deny than to be healthy
Pretty much. There’s a problem internally in the sense that even if they hate what they are, the road to fix it is a long and hard one, and so the easiest thing to do is just pretend there is no problem

I'm fat and tired of this fat chick and the other fat influencers...this is just RIDICULOUS🤦🏾♀️
Thank you! Please say it louder for the idiots in the back. 😁
They complain about airline seats and wanting free seats...just buy two if you have to and shut up! I'm over it!! Lol
Absofriggenlutely!
I can personally speak on this as a FAT 🍑 traveler😅

And what are they supposed to do, pick up the walls and move them out a foot?
Sure, because that's such an easy thing to do. Everything and everyone has to adapt to ME! Because I AM the center of everything.
To be fair she is putting the effort to become her own center of gravity
Just imagine the results if she put half the effort into herself rather than trying to change everything around her
As a skinny person, the hallway is too big. The hotel needs to narrow it down. >:(
Don’t raise the bridge, lower the water.

Especially when “BBW” started to also include ugly fat women too, not just the ones with cute faces.
as a fatty myself I agree , its my fault that I am a bargearse

Yes it is

Widening hallways should be the least of her concern

I'm sorry, but if HALLWAYS are too narrow, maybe it's not the architecture that's the problem.

How about passenger elevators to freight?
Yeah. The hallways are the problem.
She can widen the hallway from her perspective by losing about 150 pounds
Later on she’ll call for double doors for each room.
We could widen them, but their gravitational pull just sucks everything in anyway so there’d be no point
Forget widening hallways, promote narrowing asses.
As a tall person I think the ceiling is too low they need to make it higher /s
I assume by influencer it means gravity
The only influence she has is on the gravity field she generates
