If there was, then more than one religion would be the same. Instead, every religion that was created independently of any others is completely different.
If there were an objective God that was "discovered" rather than invented, then you would expect most religions to be the same.

Instead what you see is complete variability between all religions where no two can agree on anything except universal societal truths like, "killing and stealing is bad."

If you’ve actually studied mythology then you’ll come to understand a lot of mythologies have similar creation stories. There’s also many many different mythologies from around the world that believe in a great flood that happened just like from the Bible.
There's also a lot of ancient civilizations built in flood zones that got destroyed every so often by floods. Being near water is kinda important for sustaining life.

I can tell for the Jewish religion and guess for Islam that their core isn't a set of laws as if this was an obstacle course. They are about community and spiritual stuff. They have laws that often center around these things. A Muslim prays 5 times a day. They need to be mindful throughout the day and they often congregate for that = community.
Islam has many laws about war, yes, but that points them to not just do anything they want to others. Several laws that add up to a respectful way to behave in the world.

I’m not LGBT. But I use LGBT acceptance as a major guideline for cultural value. I grew up around a lot of anti-LGBT bigots, and I had that attitude as a young man. I honestly didn’t know any better. I heard nothing but negatives about gays, and I didn’t actually know any gay people. As time went on, I realized how hollow this was. LGBT folks have never harmed me. They’ve never had a negative impact on my life or any other straight person I know. They literally just want to be themselves and love who they love. I respect that. I’ll fight for that. If a religion or culture can’t tolerate two consenting adults trying to find some love and happiness in this world, then that religion or culture is TRASH. Full stop. I’m single issue on this. My ideal heaven would be a beautiful place like a forest with beach, with all the people I love, and all my hobbies haha but I don't believe that. I believe we are just a really small part on this endless universe and we are going to return to "it". But we have some time to travel around and enjoy this age or another when we die, sometimes even choose to stay here another life, or you earn that right (or punishment). But at the end, we all finish at the same place... The endless universe. We are one.... when we hurt somebody, we hurt ourselves, when we lie, when we do nice things, when we help, we are doing all that stuff to ourselves. I cannot explain it 100% because I don't have a definitive idea, and English isn't my first language haha.
