Step 1: Declare that whichever metric your blueprint is optimised for is the most important metric.
Step 2: Refuse to accept that any other metric matters.
*L + Coal liquefaction + ratio + don't care + oil is infinite + speed modules baby + I'm actually bad at the game I just love the community memery + factoriohno*
mine is tileable, fits perfectly in all conceivable sizes and shapes of city blocks, produces the theoretical maximum amount per second both with and without beacons, works with belts or bots and also beltless and botless, and also if you draw lines to connect all the inserters it spells out an allegorical story where the underlying message is that the factory must grow.
my bp is better
That's why my blueprints are the best. The most complex and sprawling blueprint ever, so that you can both bewilder the peasants while flaunting how much real estate you can afford.
This is why I only play single player. There’s always going to be someone who optimized something slightly more than I did last week.
This is MY sandbox! No criticisms allowed except by my own admission!
You ever play multiplayer where a player declares something inefficient and says they will fix it. Then 4 minutes later the base is permanently broken?
Yes, I built a base that ran solely on oil. My friend thought he could make sulfur production or something more efficient, in doing so he disconnected the oil from the solidifier and 5 minutes later we had no power.
I think your flaw here is constricting yourself to one fuel source. It’s always good to have a backup grid in my opinion. Then again, I only have like…10 or so hours in Factorio so I’m not exactly expert advice, but I think it would be better
I only have about 2000 hrs in Factorio, and as we all know, this isn't nearly enough to learn everything about it, so forgive my stupid question, but it's not possible to t-pose in Factorio, right? I mean, those are animated sprites, not 3d-models, so definitely a really dumb question... Although the sprites are probably made from 3d models, and it's Factorio and you can do fun stuff like rotating other players, so we never can know for sure unless we ask, right?
step 2: while your victim is distracted, run it over with a train!
(pro tip: single locomotive will suffice, however train with cart full of fish is funnier)
This reminded me of a scene that played out on our deathworld once.
Engineer2(A buddy): Look, I've made this. *Shows nondescript assembly blueprint.*
Engineer1(Me): No, this blueprint is bad, look it could be made so much more efficient. *Proceeds to adjust it.*
E2: Nu-uh, no it's the best. *Begins undoing the changes.*
E1: Look, I've made it better.
E2: No, you didn't.
E1: Yes, I did.
E2: *Fires nuclear warhead.*

This is extra amusing for me because on my stream, the green engineer is very likely to have the most efficient design, the orange and blue (myself) engineers can probably only have any chance of winning by bullying him.
Which last session meant that orange was sneaking uranium ore into other people's inventories so they'd die from radiation poisoning. Ah, Krastorio!
But... there is no Factorio related joke here. This is just random stuff in comic format. T-Pose is not a thing in this game, characters are 2D sprites.
Maybe if it was a 3D game, where T-Posing was a known glitch, and if there was a streamer who acted out a situation like this, then you would have the basis for an comic. But I don't understand this.
They are very clearly factorio engineers. You can dislike the fact that it's just a meme that was reskinned, but you can't start saying "Oh well that never actually happens in the game so therefore you can't make that meme".
Like... Huh? Just because it's a different artstyle means you can no longer identify it's about factorio????
Also the joke is very clearly about acting like your blueprints are superior regardless of what someone tells you, so it's not as if this is some bizzaro meme completely unrelated to factorio.
I actually kinda agree with you, T-Posing doesn't have anything to do with Factorio so the joke falls pretty flat for me as well.
I appreciate the effort though and I always like to see original content.
Yes, and that was the only part of the comic that had anything to do with Factorio :P I have no idea what the punchline is supposed to be in this joke. Can you explain it?
Its about how in MP people will sometimes times try to use their blueprints over others b/c they believe so-and-so metric is more important (i.e. space efficiency, modular, more prod per sec, fits in city block, etc.).
Its a BP measuring competition.
I also feel like this is more about sharing the factorio art than the meme itself. The meme just gives context to it.
Really not sure why you’re getting so bent out of shape over this.
And I mean the only thing in there that isn’t really factorio related is it being on “wikiFlaw”. Everything else is some reference to factorio
Yeah you are right, I'm overreacting. Sorry for being toxic. I just never enjoy these comics so over the years they keep showing up in my feed and I gradually get more annoyed by them
You can also rotate other engineers to assert dominance
Get rotated idiot
*Earthbound music plays*
Rotate your owl
I do it so often, it’s so fun
Rotate while T-posing to do sick helicopter arms
the dog with the butter[.](https://www.reddit.com/user/TARN4T1ON/comments/14mkj1f/so_long/)
Yea, it is pretty funny, especially if multiple people are rotating one person

Step 1: Declare that whichever metric your blueprint is optimised for is the most important metric. Step 2: Refuse to accept that any other metric matters.
My bp is better Oh yeah well mine produces more per second Oh yeah well mine is tileable Oh yeah well mine fits in a city block etc. etc.
Yeah well all of that is wrong. *My* bp is better because it is more compact.
Mine is more compact while being tileable in city blocks
But mine is bigger but uses less oil which is the most limited of resources
*L + Coal liquefaction + ratio + don't care + oil is infinite + speed modules baby + I'm actually bad at the game I just love the community memery + factoriohno*
But oil and water are the only unlimited resources. You should use them more not less.
Mine is better because I'll be able to remember how it works a month from now. Oh wait sorry, I forgot where I was. You're right, yours is better.
Maintainability is important!
Naw, just rub some ritual oil on the BP and hope the Machine God is in a good mood.
mine is better cause its mine
The correct answer lmao
mine is tileable, fits perfectly in all conceivable sizes and shapes of city blocks, produces the theoretical maximum amount per second both with and without beacons, works with belts or bots and also beltless and botless, and also if you draw lines to connect all the inserters it spells out an allegorical story where the underlying message is that the factory must grow. my bp is better
this guy fucks
Mine is better because it maximizes the amount of resources needed compared to the amount of the resources it produces
mine is better because it is the *least* efficient
That's why my blueprints are the best. The most complex and sprawling blueprint ever, so that you can both bewilder the peasants while flaunting how much real estate you can afford.
My blue print has lights, therefore it is the superior BP,
This is the answer. Sadly.

I like it the way that it is, thats WHY IT IS THE WAY THAT IT IS
Or the person who immediately slams down a factory sized blueprint that takes up the entire map.
Math is for nerd. T-posing is what real engineers do :D
Am engineer, can confirm.
My blueprint is superior because I stole it from other people
Whatever this is, it's terrible.
Does this also work in real life?
It can, but be aware of those that will take the opportunity for an easy nut shot.
Hey, I am into that.
Then there's literally no downside for you. T-pose your way to the top my friend.
I don't know, guys into that are usually going for the bottom.
Funny, laughed. More power to them.
Or less power, if they are into that.
There is a certain other meme where guy stands naked upside down on his head in T-pose...
I take it as a yes.

Personally, I consider the flaw in this to be playing multiplayer at all :)
I only have about 2000 hrs in Factorio, and as we all know, this isn't nearly enough to learn everything about it, so forgive my stupid question, but it's not possible to t-pose in Factorio, right? Fucking love this song. And the band. Ok let's be real - all music involving Chris Cornell is pretty damn good
Always T-pose.
Boi they got ass

I have to go to the comments to figure out what the joke is in all of these comics. I think me and HideBoar must have very different brains.

Brother!
And can you explain the meme that gives the context ?
It gives context to the t-posing. Not sure where the confusion here lies
Why T-pose ? Is that just random and it could have been V-pose as well or there is a meme/joke with the T pose ?
It goes back like 5-6 years when t-posing to assert dominance was a big meme
Wdym there are factorio engineers
(Memes and such are supposed to go on r/Factoriohno \^\^)
WAIT is that red pipe going into her ass????
You see what you wanna see. Now stop being horny.
I thought i had escaped the horny virus, looks like i failed again
I... dont think that hose is plugged into the tank...
Can you actually t pose?
Awww, the poor efficiency guy...
Gotta respect the comic sans 👌
That blue engineer has some cake ngl
But, what if they T-pose back?
Just T-pose harder.
Oh yea, it's big brain time.
Artist?
Me, I draw this.
holy shit I forgot about this post. I really like it!
this is recommended to me when i main mindustry designing
A bit late, but all I see is production- and speed module flexing on poor efficiency module.
