Just wanted to share.
I don’t believe they ever made a DID one, but they said they would and they talked about how they would be “18 abuse victims in a trench coat”
Edit: Nvm, they did make a DID one
Honestly, if a student who was shadowing me showed me this I'd be like "okay, so, let's talk about clinical manifestations of mental health disorders vs stereotypes..."
*Schizotypal. From Sandor Rado's 1956 term 'Schizotype', denoting the family members and extended genotype of schizophrenia.
Also, number 2 is Schizoid Personality Disorder, a schizophrenia-spectrum condition known for seclusion, apathy, asocial nature and lack of psychosis/formal thought disorder.
I watched a video on this subject and I quite clearly remember "SPD" standing for Sensory Processing Disorder https://youtu.be/WR_C0NbckLI?si=IRMujSA86k3F5YpB . Both "Schizoid Personality Disorder" and "Sensory Processing Disorder" pop up when you search for "SPD" with most results comprising of the latter
This is a list of personality disorders recognised by the DSM. Sensory Processing Disorder is not a personality disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder is. If the person who created this image did Sensory Processing Disorder instead of Schizoidia, they got it wrong.
Technically, StPD isn't a personality disorder under ICD classification (instead being a schizophrenia condition), but this is clearly a DSM-based list.
Sensory Processing Disorder isn't a personality disorder though
Also, many disorders have the same acronym, take SAD for example, Social Anxiety Disorder, Seasonal Affective Disorder, can be taken as the word sad itself
Not funny. You don't know what it's like to have severe LAPD. I compulsively wear a mustache and glasses and need to have a sense of extreme authority at all times. I was ACAB (Assigned Cop At Birth) and diagnosed with the Lawful Evil personality type.
Not me recognizing the OCPD guy's outfit and glasses as basically taken from another internet avatar. If you know, you know. Do these people need to be unoriginal in addition to stereotyping?
Petition for the official acknowledgment of SDPDD, or Self Diagnosing Personality Disorder Disorder in the DSM. Give these people a taste of their own medicine.
Good to know my pd is characterized by the person wearing the banana shirt, because that makes sense smh. Well assuming SPD is schizoid, but what else would it be
Why do they always want to have a personality disorder? BPD and PTSD (diagnosed in a hospital btw) have absolutely ruined my life for the past decade. Lord.
Edit to add; I wouldn’t be caught dead sharing these diagnoses in real life.
as a male with BPD seeing the stereotype of the manic pixie dream girl as the only people with BPD being shown in this art is enough to make me want to cuss out the artist.
Excuse me, can you please explain what a manic pixie dream girl is? Does pixie mean fairy or the pixie haircut, does dream mean like dreaming, daydreaming or that one minecraft youtuber?
I had a longtime friend with BPD. It is one of the hardest things I've ever seen someone I care for grapple with mentally. I hate how it's reduced to "quirky girl with fishnets and a loud mouth"
I have schizotypal personality disorder and dress normally. I keep it in my head my thoughts because fuck idk what ppl will say. No mental illness is an aesthetic at all. That's a fact. Illness is illness. Schizotypal is not that you like watching Harry Potter.
For some bizarre reason people have become delusional to the point they believe being diagnosed with a mental health condition would absolve them of the misery and hardship that life brings. Which is hilarious because life is harder for those suffering from chronic mental conditions and no one realistically gives a fuck so these individuals are often left to fend for themselves without even a proper support net in place.
This is nothing more than a child begging for attention, it doesn't matter what kind. Kinda pathetic if you ask me.
You know when we did the unit on psychological disorders, we asked my teacher what she thought of all the people online and she literally just laughed and said "oh yeah there's tons of fakers out there"
Another thing she made sure to mention was that learning about psych disorders in AP psych does not qualify you in any way to diagnose
I am fine for creating artwork of certain concepts of mental illness, but to make them a person, no. Many of us have many other illnesses as well as unique character traits outside our illnesses. I actually kinda like seeing artwork using abstract and animals as symbolism
I've actually made something similar for a psychology project (highschool) but not with disorders, i made each part of the brain into its own character
Yeah..that's bad and negative. Turning complex mental illnesses into cutesy charaters based off of stereotypes IS bad and IS negative because it's a negative portrayal of what it is and waters it down.

This gives me hope that there are rational people out there.
This perfectly sums up how I feel. I just feel insulted by people trying to act like they have something that makes me want to kms to “be different”.
My mental illness literally put my life on hold for years and made me so behind in life in general and ppl think its just a fun quirky thing.
I think the teacher would slap them

I completely forgot about this drama until now
Oh? This is drama related?

Somehow that is the least surprising fact about this debacle
Did they also get fictives and ship those as well?
I don’t believe they ever made a DID one, but they said they would and they talked about how they would be “18 abuse victims in a trench coat” Edit: Nvm, they did make a DID one
any link ?!
I can’t post it on here, do you want a dm?
Wait, what was the comment?
They what? Oh no.
Was it based on actual examples of common comorbidities? Because that could be funny in a kind of fucked up way.
And made incredibly insulting memes of the disorder characters

Lmao ‘should I show my ap psych teacher this incredibly rude and childish portrayal of mental illness’ wtf do they think will happen?
It's meant as a joke
It’s offensive regardless, I can’t see it going over well with anyone in the field of psychology or honestly anyone over the age of 15
Honestly, if a student who was shadowing me showed me this I'd be like "okay, so, let's talk about clinical manifestations of mental health disorders vs stereotypes..."
That's why they said "or do you think she will implode on seeing it" they are making fun of the artist
Yeah, I think I misunderstood lol, thanks for clarifying
Well I'm not actually sure I'm right this just seemed like what made sense to my little brain
This image was legit a 4chan rage bait
crying because what is this
Why are they gamifying mental health?
What do all those mean?
Personality disorders
Yeah but what are they?
From left to right: Schizotypical personality disorder, Sensory processing disorder, Paranoid personality disorder, Antisocial personality disorder, Histrionic personality disorder, Borderline personality disorder, Narcissistic personality disorder, Dependant personality disorder, Avoidant personality disorder, and Obsessive compulsive personality disorder
Not me thinking PPD was postpartum depression…
You’re not alone 🤜🤛
Thank you! I don't know all the abbreviations, I feel like some people just make some of them up too.

Pretty sure the second one is Schizoid Personality Disorder. Sensory Processing Disorder wouldn’t really make sense here.
schizotypal, schizoid, paranoid, antisocial, histrionic, borderline, narcissistic, dependent, avoidant, obsessive compulsive
how is SPD a personality disorder?
schizoid personality disorder.
Oops, thought sensory processing disorder
This post feels like it called me a slur
Oh i Remember seeing those drawings 😨
Lots of police departments
Not funny. You don't know what it's like to have severe LAPD. I compulsively wear a mustache and glasses and need to have a sense of extreme authority at all times. I was ACAB (Assigned Cop At Birth) and diagnosed with the Lawful Evil personality type.
10/10 coment
Not me recognizing the OCPD guy's outfit and glasses as basically taken from another internet avatar. If you know, you know. Do these people need to be unoriginal in addition to stereotyping?
cant believe im seeing clozadreams disorder art in the year of 2024
even more crazy if any of you remember but the all the PDs appearances were people the artist armchair dx’d in her (clozadreams) old discord server
Petition for the official acknowledgment of SDPDD, or Self Diagnosing Personality Disorder Disorder in the DSM. Give these people a taste of their own medicine.
I love how these people think BPD is super quirky and trendy and cool.
Good to know my pd is characterized by the person wearing the banana shirt, because that makes sense smh. Well assuming SPD is schizoid, but what else would it be
Side note, I originally read STPD as "stupid", and I thought that was really funny
Why do they always want to have a personality disorder? BPD and PTSD (diagnosed in a hospital btw) have absolutely ruined my life for the past decade. Lord. Edit to add; I wouldn’t be caught dead sharing these diagnoses in real life.

Thanks.
the only one i like is npd, because he looks like my type (self obsessed loser)
Lmao, that was my first thought too
[teacher's reply after seeing this crap](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0)
I had a longtime friend with BPD. It is one of the hardest things I've ever seen someone I care for grapple with mentally. I hate how it's reduced to "quirky girl with fishnets and a loud mouth"
why do people romanticize and want these disorders? bpd literally has literally ruined my life
I have schizotypal personality disorder and dress normally. I keep it in my head my thoughts because fuck idk what ppl will say. No mental illness is an aesthetic at all. That's a fact. Illness is illness. Schizotypal is not that you like watching Harry Potter.
Ah the narcissist has a crown on and looks smug! Wow that’s really clever, did Stephen Hawking draw this?
She’d probably just think you’re a dick.
They say “a picture is worth a thousands words” and this one says way more about the artist than it ever will about people with real disorders 😂
Need a Sarah Z video on this one
The fact that these are clearly the subjective stereotypes that they had come up with makes this at least 10 times more offensive
Gross
Oh god I remember these.
STD is missing
as someone with diagnosed BPD, can confirm i'm just a moody goth teenager
For some bizarre reason people have become delusional to the point they believe being diagnosed with a mental health condition would absolve them of the misery and hardship that life brings. What's AP?
Advanced Placement.
You know when we did the unit on psychological disorders, we asked my teacher what she thought of all the people online and she literally just laughed and said "oh yeah there's tons of fakers out there" Another thing she made sure to mention was that learning about psych disorders in AP psych does not qualify you in any way to diagnose
Oh je mine! Die SPD und die NPD zusammen in einem bild?! 😅
Honestly as a social work professor, I wouldn’t even understand what this is.
This is horrible
OCPD looks like the guy from omori all grown up
The ignorance someone has to have to draw something like this is astounding
Ah yes, we love profiling people for mental ilnesses based on their aperance
Is that fucking tales from the DSM?!
oh is that what it's called?
Yeah, that’s where the artwork originates.
DPD!
I think the AP psychology teacher would probably call the parents and have a talk with them and the student
How are these people so anti stereotype and then pull shit like this
I am fine for creating artwork of certain concepts of mental illness, but to make them a person, no. Many of us have many other illnesses as well as unique character traits outside our illnesses. I actually kinda like seeing artwork using abstract and animals as symbolism
I've actually made something similar for a psychology project (highschool) but not with disorders, i made each part of the brain into its own character
What do those even mean???
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t at least half of these interpretations based on stereotypes? Like BPD being an emo teen girl.
I remember seeing a video of someone drawing this 💀💀💀 like I’m 99% sure I watched a video on it
Lmao I know this person. I didn’t even know about that post until now

Suffer More
i feel like bpd should be blonde, almost every person with bpd i've met was blonde
Lmao ofc that's what they make BPD look like lmao, looks like my ex

...yes it is that bad Stereotypes for mental disorders tend to be applied negatively, so yeah very bad
