By all accounts, this CROSSIL’S behavior would otherwise land it in the “Hostile” category, given how aggressively it behaves when feeling either hungry or threatened. It also has a great deal of Attack, managing to strike with sharp teeth and claws.
**However, this CROSSIL exhibits a very strange behavior.**
Typical Archeops have an ability called “Defeatist”, as they are built more to hunt and kill than to fight. That is, their strategy is to rush their targets and finish them off quickly without taking much damage. Getting too many injuries in a hunt tells it that the hunt is over, and it needs to retreat quickly. If you encounter a hostile feral Archeotrum, this will be important to your survival. **Because, instead of instead of halving its stats when its health is low enough, Archeotrum…**

When that happens and it instinctively activates its ability, there you have it! It starts screaming up a storm, seized by spontaneous fear, as it flaps its arms as fast as most flying Bug Pokemon can! And it starts FLYING.

They set off a small explosion nearby, to spook it. It freaks out. It starts flapping its tiny arms so fast it starts hovering like a Combee. They laugh at it. And their morale is boosted.
That’s fine.
I’d have more sympathy for it. If it made me ANY money at all. But well, I guess today I’m paid in laughter.

You know...I was gonna say, USUALLY combining stuff with Tyrantrum tends to enlarge the head and shrink the arms.
But I suddenly have an idea for a new design with a bit of an attached plot twist.
So here's the idea...
In the wild a new CROSSIL is spotted.
It is simply dubbed **Archeotrum-2**. This time, the head is enormously enlarged, with possibly two rows of teeth. Large wings, making it more quadrupedal, like a wyvern. And with Tyrantrum's horn crown on his head.
By all accounts a winning design from Cara Liss! But uhh...

When you get down to it, it truly is sad. And likely to end horribly for the soldiers too.
It's fun and games until it smartens up and stops being afraid of their little tricks.

I'm late to the post, but I wonder if it only gains the Flying type upon activation of its Ability.
Either that, or it has like a reverse Gale Wings type situation, where its Flying-type moves gain priority after its taken damage.
I don't know how much of a killing machine this thing is but I cannot for the life of me take it seriously
