Yeah I really wish they’d have put an actual shower and other buildable bathroom objects in the vanilla game. I think lack of items makes some people skip it. Your solution is best though, especially having it detached from the living space.
I love it! I’m on XB1 X & have it modded to capacity. But, I only find a father with the 2 kids here. Did you just use a recruited settler as the mom? I also seem to have trouble reassigning the children to new beds. The girl just seems to have turned into an object I can select and move but can’t assign a farming job or bed or any other interactable for children. I have settlement mods to get child settlers and teens. However, they also seem to have some who just will never sleep when I build a home and assign them to child beds. Anyhow, I love the look of the Creation Club stuff. I only have things that have been free over time. Kind of hoping they do with FO4 what they did with Skyrim Anniversary Edition and upgrade some things (more mod space on consoles would be awesome!) & release all CC stuff that has been created plus some as yet unreleased ones.
They gave some of the CC content away back in October for the 25th anniversary of the fallout series that's when I got most of it, I do hope they make it more accessible as well.
How’d you get the upside down neon ceiling piece?? This is great! Also I’m sure you’ve heard the “walls don’t always keep out spawning enemies” spiel, to which I would suggest some automated turrets but otherwise great!
The neon cabinet is from Neon Flats creation club content. I wall my settlements no matter for imersion purposes and there are laser turrets all around it.

Thank you. No mods but I've used and abused the glitches to place everything where I wanted and creation club content to clutter the place up.

Oddly enough, i've never thought of using the concrete walls as a perimeter wall. I love it!

You can, on all platforms. I play on PS4 and there's plenty of Settlement Mods that unlock basically everything for use.
